The Comet Saga

Kisoku didn't speak as Shodaan rushed outside of his apartment, he had already noticed that the night had turned to morning. Work at the capital was one of the things not held as a high priority. Since the Raikage fell, he thought life would return to taking on missions to gain revenue. Maybe even receiving a gennin team to nurture and train. That was what he always thought was the highest honor, training the future protectors on his homeland.

Locking up the temporary home, he slid his hands into his pockets without even noticing the movement. It was more habit than anything else at this point. The destination the same as Shodaan's, he followed him from roof to roof. It would draw some attention, but not nearly as much as a game of catch up would on the ground.

Kisoku called out, "Shodaan! Slow down, your going to..."

~Whump

"Too late." He sighed, Shodaan's amplified voice blocked the words out of audible distinction.

The collision with the girl had given birth to an enigma. The ethereal figure that emerged started cussing up a storm. Even as it's host stood and brushed dirt of off herself, it was still fighting to get a better vantage point on Shodaan. Kisoku turned his head to the side slightly thinking about what it was. It didn't seem like a dangerous situation, but having not seen the girl before, she was a person of interest. He jumped down beside Shodaan and faced the Newcomer.

"He apologizes by the way." Kisoku's voice taking a tender sympathetic tone, though it didn't lose any of the authority it usually carried. He took a quick glance at the red haired man beside him indicating who he was talking about if it wasn't obvious already. "My name is Kisoku, and who might you be?" His voice portrayed his inquisitive nature just enough that it was apparent he took an interest in more than just her name.

Shodaan's ebon eyes stared foreward at the apparition which stood in front of him. Strange...its not everyday that a creature pulls themselves out of someone's back. Though if this swearing doesn't stop i'm going to go crazy... Without so much as a movement from his hands, he compressed the soundwaves surrounding the creature, effectively muting it's stream of cursing.

"If you dont mind, I think that I will hear from your hostess, not you."

He gazed down toward the small girl, who had just barely risen to her feet and his eyes slid down then up, taking the entirety of her body into consideration. A slight smirk raised on his face.

"You and I are from the same village..."

Raikoh began to sit on top of the edge of the rood and began to relax and observe things from there. He wield out his blade and began to sit back and look at the town. He was a little uneasy to the point that for days he's been going through changes and having many weird dreams. He had a dream that a certain object was coming down from the sky but he couldn't make out or break it clear what it was. All he would see was shiny things flowing around it like flames from an impact but he didn't understand the dream. He thought he was just excited from playing his favorite game FFVII..But he began to notice days later that his dream was actually a sign. He began to stand up and began to jump from building to another just walking above ground. Ever since he has been having those puzzling dreams all he could possibly do was just pay attention to the skies at night watching the stars and moon. He keep quiet and just continued walking above the roof. He suddenly stopped walking and started to look up once more.

".......It feels as if something should be happening....but..what ?...What does this mean?"

He says to himself in wonder..

Despite the terrible ringing, Kikuya was slowly recovering. The shock easily damaged the pressurized sound coils in her system, but the noise of the injury was like bitter medicine- it returned to the sound within her as a river returns to the lonesome ocean. Further impediment included Kagerou's gravelly voice as it teetered upon her shoulders. And when the man silenced the creature, its mouth contorted into snarls, fists clenching Kikuya's choppy dark hair, shaking with such force that master and host staggered to and fro.

"I'm 'Kuya," she managed, her voice a nasally whine. During the twins' powerstruggle, the girl kept her eyes locked on Shodaan. Their shared elemental mastery was enough to capture her half-hearted attention. "Hagemasu clan senb 'Kuya to worlb- a'bassador ob new power!" Obviously this part was recited- something her father taught her in hopes of presenting the raw state of the Hagemasu clan to any source of money that required shinobi resources.

Kagerou's tantrum proceeded with clenched fists battering the girl- her recited introduction to the clan halted. This was the last straw. The days, the weeks, the months- nothing ever went right for Kikuya. Always interrupted, always overlooked... Contrary to what the two perceived as a placid, subservient demeanor, perhaps her wrath was harsher than Kagerou's endless curses. "Yeeee! Shaddap shaddap!" She caught a fistful of the creatures long ebon hair, yanking the being entirely from her back and sending it sprawling on the floor. "Can't hib 'Kuya! Can't hib 'Kuya!" Within moments of the incoming beating, the sound apparition wailed in defeat and scattered into nothingness, untouchable as it inevitably returned to nest in Kikuya's form.

A silence as her ragged breathing leveled. "Wha' 'chu do dat for?" She pointed a quivering, enraged finger at Shodaan, whom she declared as the propagator of today's scuffle. "Make Kag'rou hib 'Kuya.... make 'Kuya hib Kag'rou..."

Shodaan's jaw clenched tightly, and his eyes narrowed dangerously. "Why, because whatever that thing was, it was irritating me. But it seems that you yourself cannot maintain a civil tongue in your head either little girl. Make a note of this, because the next person you offend may not be so...kind"

With that, the large man turned to walk away, but halted in midstep. Turning around once more, his black eyes sought a focal point on the woman. The point right between the eyes, though to any who looked back, it seemed his eyes looked everywhere at once.

"Hagemasu huh...aren't you guys the new upstarts, causing my village all sorts of trouble? The news I've gotten back from Otogakure says a few words here and there about "Shadows of Sound" wandering about...that can't be you guys, now? Can it?" He asked, his voice hovering between sarcasm and ire.

As he spoke, a black tarot deck appeared next to his left hand, he idly began shuffling the deck, one handed, while he awaited the next comment.
