Rhap Sodos
This may be nit-picky, and I doubt this would ever get through character approval, buuut... Name: Advancement SealEffect: You may only have 50% points in this stat as there are in your lowest non advancement sealed stat. So if you have Advancement seal on Genjutsu and the lowest other stat you have is defense, with a score of 100, you can only have a max of 50 Genjutsu. Cost: +1 Ranks: 11 So, since the amount of ranks allowed equals the amount of Stats most characters have [unless you're in a clan/bloodline that has a special 12th Stat], the way the rule is worded right now couldn't you technically have an Advancement Seal on every Stat, and therefore, not have a low non-advancement sealed stat that you have to cater to? Probably should cap this to 10 so the character is required to have at least one un-sealed Stat. Just sayin'.
Major
Well you have to have admin approval to have more than six hindering skills, right?
Rhap Sodos
Would that be considered a different Skill, or a different Rank? And if each stat is considered a different skill, then the maximum amount of ranks should be 6, not 11.
Tsu
It's a different skill, you have to tag it with the stat. ie. Advancement Seal [Taijutsu] is a different skill that Advancement Seal [Ninjutsu]. So since you need admin approval to have over the cap of hindering skills, it doesn't really matter as it wouldn't be approved. Matthias Drake
I made a jutsu that temporarily inflicted advancement seals, once, to take advantage of that wording. I don't remember what happened with it - either it only got one approval or it got both and I decided it was too sleazy to use.
cntrstrk14
We should probably update that to be a bit different, but each rank is its own skill as Peace said since each rank targets a different stat. As well, as Major said, only 6 hindering are allowed at creation. The rank is there as it is mostly for reference as an advancement seal can be placed on someone with sealing techniques, etc. However, will all that said, it should still be 10 ranks.
