Temporal Isolation Shrine

 

 

In the south, beyond the reaches of Hi no Kuni or Mizu no Kuni, sits a single island along in the deep water. This island is like none other, with a thin column of stone that breaks the waves and reaches far into the sky. At the very top sits an island, magnificent green forest surrounding a lake where water flows endlessly to the ocean below. Above all else sits a temple built by mysterious ancients and guarded by a single guardian. The guardian's name is simply Kami, the word for god, and they have said to sit upon this tower watching the world for eons. This temple sits so far above the rest of the world that it is said to live in the Heavenly Realm, connected to the Divine Sage Realm where the Sacred Water flows from its source. Of course, this is all just myth, but the temple itself is said to be real. And within it a mysterious power that claims to allow anyone who enters to experience a year of time while only a day passes outside. The temple's secret is closely guarded, but for souls brave enough it will open its doors.

 

ooc: A character may once in their lifetime visit the shrine. They may train with one other person at a time for a maximum of 10,000 words each. All EXP earned within the shrine gains a 5x multiplier. The player's age is increased by one year for every 2,000 words they train.
