This extra chakra is used to direct sound waves towards the opponent for different effects dependant on the amount of chakra put in. *- To induce the effect of confused on the target for one turn **- To induce the effect of dizzy on the target for one turn Description: A welcome piece of equipment to any sound nin's arsenal. They are essentially forearm-guards with holes in them to the untrained eye. Inside, it could be described as exactly as the name suggests, a sound amplifier. In any case, the chakra does most of the work, although it takes a shinobi adept in chakra control to manipulate the sound waves produced, as this weapon's worth is more apparent when used in conjunction with specially crafted sound jutsu. Cost: $75 (Need Sharinkugan/ Khaos's exclusive permission) Weapon Kind: Air Pressure device Type: Implant Level: N/A Special: The Air pressure device itself cannot be targetted. If used as a weapon on its own, this allows a shinobi to make basic attacks (like a kick or a punch) at range. These attacks follow the same rules as normal basic attacks although the cost is paid out in chakra and are modified by ninjutsu. Description: On the outside, these appear to be holes with metal edges in the user's hands. Inside the arms, there are plastic tubes and a small "bladder" at the end of the tubes. Inside these, pressure is built up, and then released. The energy to power this process is Chakra. The basic use of these is mostly reflexive, because using special medical techniques, these devices are woven into the structure of the body's chakra pathways. However, with special training, they can be used to power incredibly strong attacks using wind and sound type techniques based on air pressure. Cost: $100, and requires a hospital stay of two RL days to implant it. Genin must get permission from their Jounin instructors to get this device implanted. Restricted to only Oto nin. Nappers Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 Sound Amplifier v2 I asume that basic attacks that use the hand that the amplifier is attached to does not include throwing a kunai with that hand =P Air Pressure Device Costs the same and does the same job as the 4.0 version, so I'll give my approval until someone has something else to add.
