Guest MrSako Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 (edited) Name: Gyokko Ryu: Uchikeshienjin (Jeweled Tiger: Negation Circle) Type: Ninjutsu (Personal, Dark) Rank: Kage/Sennin Cost: 500 Effect: Remove all Bunshin and 'Animated Constructs' (such as Death Trees) from the field. This Jutsu may only be negated by a Light-Type Jutsu of equal rank. Description: Forming a long string of hand seals, the Master of the 'Dark Side' of the Gyokko Ryu emits a large, powerful aura that extends for a radius of 50 meters. The powers of the Dark Element are fearsome enough to undo the atoms that hold together Bunshin, whether they are simply a collection of mollecules that are meant to be an illusion, or if they are atoms that are knit together to try and hold a somewhat life-like form. This also affects living constructs whose lifespan are so short that they are only 'viable' for a few minutes at most, hastening the destructive process. Those with stable metabolic systems, including Ninjas, their Pets, and even Summoned beings cannot be torn apart from this Jutsu. It is unknown whether or not it is the soul that keeps the body knit together, or if this Jutsu simply hastens molecular decomposition. Points: 6 Requisite: Even if this Jutsu is copied, it requires Twisted Colors Rank 4 to be able to use. ------------------------------------- Name: Mirror Clone (Bunshin no Kyoumen) Type: Ninjutsu (Personal, Glass) Rank: Jounin Cost: 200 per clone (max 3) Effect: Creates a Bunshin with 1/2 base stats of the user except: -Mirror Clones may use all abilities of the user except for bloodline abilities, Summoning, or Bunshin techniques -Follows Bunshin rules for combat (every other turn of user) -Mirror Clones that are automatically hit due to user successfully dodging an attack may use Jutsu or skills in their Response Place (unless otherwise specified) -If the clone dodges a Ninutsu with a roll >95, that Jutsu is 'reflected' back against the source Description: A bunshin made of glass may seem to be fragile, though this is really a misnomer as it is one of the more deadlier forms of bunshin in existence. The smooth, mirrory surface of the clone gives it away, as this technique is not used for spying purposes, but more for its battle applications. There is always a slight chance that an opposing Ninjutsu will be reflected off of its smooth surface and be sent back towards the source. Points: 6 ------------------------------------- Name: Yoroiichigu no Kaikou (Full Plate Armor of Mysterious Light) Type: Ninjutsu (Personal, Light) Rank: Kage/Sennin Cost: 250 Chakra Effect: May be used in the Setup Phase. Creates 'Armor' that absorbs 250 + User's Ninjutsu modifier worth of damage from non-Genjutsu attacks. Apply this damage reduction before applying damage reduction due to Equipment, Defense, or Resistance. Does not stack, but Jutsu may be re-cast. User may not attack in the turn in the turn they use this Jutsu. Description: The Master of the Gyokko Ryu is able to create the Element of Light from any of their tenketsu on their bodies. If they are powerful enough, they are able to create a suit of armor, whose shape and form can vary depending on the will of the user. This is one of the more powerful defensive Jutsus known to user's of the Gyokko Ryu fighting style. Points: 3 Requisite: Even if this Jutsu is copied, it requires Twisted Colors Rank 4 to be able to use. ------------------------------------- Name: Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Rashomon (Summoning Technique: Rashomon) Type: Ninjutsu (Personal, Summoning) Rank: Forbidden Cost: 500 per wall (maximum of 3) Effect: Used in the Response Phase, even if character normally is not allowed to take any action. Summons a wall that absorbs 1000 Damage + User's Ninjutsu Modifier. If the damage is reduced to 0, user does not suffer any Status Effects. User may take action in their Main Phase. Up to 3 walls may be used per battle. Description: The Rashomon was formerly the grandest of the two city gates of the Japanese city of Kyoto during the Heian period. Built in 789, it was 106 feet wide by 26 feet high, with a 75-foot stone wall and topped by a ridge-pole. The gate was located at the southern end of Suzaku Avenue. By the 12th century it had fallen into disrepair and became an unsavory place, with a reputation as a hideout for thieves and other disreputable characters. People would abandon corpses and unwanted babies at the gate. Over time, the gate took on the demonic characteristics of the inhabitants and became a living entity. It is unclear how Orochimaru was able to exert control over such a powerful entitiy, but the tattered records have been passed down, recently 'discovered' by Uchiha Haruki, who received it from Uchiha Madara. One unique aspect of this Jutsu is that it can be 'cast' in succession, as was demonstrated by Orochimaru who had to use the Triple Rashomon in order to protect himself against the devestating attack by the Four-tailed Kyuubi Naruto. Points: 6 ------------------------------------- Name: Gyokko Ryu: Hatsugoori (Jeweled Tiger: First Ice of Winter) Type: Genjutsu (Personal, Ice) Rank: Jounin Cost: 85 Effect: May only be countered by a Jutsu of equal or higher rank. Opponent is Frozen, Numb, and Impaired Touch for 2 turns. Frozen: Target's speed is at 75%. Ninjutsu/Genjutsu involving hand seals has a 5% chance to fail. Held items/weapons have a 5% chance to be dropped(unequipped) when used. Numb: -60 defense, opponent cannot hold any item and all held weapon damage is cut in half. Burn and Bleed effects last one post longer if the opponent is numb. Impaired Touch: All held items have a 10% chance to be dropped(unequipped) when used. Description: The opponent is made to believe that they are in the depths of winter, and by focusing the illusion on the part of the brain that deals with perception and autonomic regulation, the blood supply to the extremities is cut off to 'conserve warmth' for the core, but causing an effect of temporary numbness of the hands and feet, cutting down on movement and impairing the ability to hold onto objects. Points: 3 ------------------------------------- Name: Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone Technique) lvl 2 Type: Genjutsu (Personal) Rank: Chuunin Cost: 10 Description: Creates illusionary replicas of the user. They are unable to attack or interact with other objects, but can serve as good distractions. After using them for some time, Uchiha Haruki naturally began to use them at other, non-traditional times in battle... Damage: None Effects: Used in the Setup Phase. Adds +5 evasion and +5 accuracy for each clone. Once a clone is hit it is destroyed, and the bonuses with it. Points: 1 ----------------------------------------- Name: Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone Technique) lvl 3 Type: Genjutsu (Personal) Rank: Jounin Cost: 10 Description: Creates illusionary replicas of the user. They are unable to attack or interact with other objects, but can serve as good distractions. The final transformation of using bunshin, Uchiha Haruki mastered them in such a way as to create them before oncoming attacks would hit him, granting him that little extra edge in avoiding attacks. Damage: None Effects: Used in the Response Phase before the dodge roll. Adds +5 evasion and +5 accuracy for each clone. Once a clone is hit it is destroyed, and the bonuses with it. Points: 1 ----------------------------------------- Name: Naihatsu (Burst of Energy) lvl 1 Type: Taijutsu (Personal) Rank: Chuunin Cost: 16 Effects: Used in the Setup Phase. Increases Evasion by +20 until next turn Description: Concentrating on their opponent's movements, the Ninja is able to adjust their fighting style ever so slightly to get a slight boost in their evasiveness. Points: 1 ----------------------------------------- Name: Naihatsu (Burst of Energy) lvl 2 Type: Taijutsu (Personal) Rank: Chuunin Cost: 16 Effects: Used in the Response Phase before the dodge roll. Nappers Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Uchikeshienjin; for 200 chakra you can remove a 700 chakra Essence Clone? Clone of Mirrors; to some extent more potent than the Essence Clone which has these statements- -These Clones may not break the 'once per battle' rules (If the user uses a jutsu that works once per battle, these clones may not use it) -These Clones gain 5% Chakra and Stamina every other turn -These Clones may Never Summon -These Clones may not activate the Celestial Gates Aotourou; Leaning towards 20 points. This can be used to negate even your Amataresu and Tsukiyomi, and their counters cost 750 and 25 JP. Also leaning towards 300X cost. Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Rashomon; Cake Gyokko Ryu: Hatsugoori; Don't Forget Icing
Guest MrSako Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Updated... recall that once an Essence Clone is destroyed, it can be re-created at a smaller cost. Added more restrictions to the Mirror Bunshin As for the negating tech, health used to pay for it cannot be regenerated in battle, limiting its use to practically no more than twice (that will be 600 health right there)
Nappers Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Uchikeshienjin; new cost is fine. Clone of Mirrors; If you create three clones, all three have equal base stats to the user. Hm. I'd like that they go every other turn. Do they follow clone rules in that if the original dodges then a clone is hit? The implications of 3 clones + the user with full stats (besides health) kinda bugs me. Gyokko Ryu: Aotourou; It was more the JP that stood out ot me- approved.
Mokujin Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Name: Gyokko Ryu: Aotourou (Jeweled Tiger: Green Lantern)Type: Ninjutsu (Personal, Light/Dark) Rank: Forbidden Cost: 200X Chakra + 200X Health, where X is the number of times this Jutsu is used in battle. Effect: Used in the Response Phase. Negate all incoming attack strings this Response Phase. If incoming attacks may only be countered by a specifically named Jutsu, this Jutsu counts as that named Jutsu for countering purposes. Health that is paid to use this Jutsu may not be regenerated in this battle. User may take action in the Main Phase. Description: The Master of the Gyokko Ryu puts out both arms, focusing the Element of Light in their right hand and the Element of Dark in their left hand. The Jutsu flows together around them, and where they intersect, an eery, green light is emitted. Because of the radial pattern that comes from each outstretched hand, the image appears as that of a 'Green Lantern' of which this Jutsu gets its name. Although protective, this Jutsu cannot be maintained as it draws upon the life force of the Ninja to use. Points: 20 Requisite: Even if this Jutsu is copied, it requires Twisted Colors Rank 4 to be able to use. I see the potential of X equalling 0 for the first use, seeing as the jutsu is being used, and has not... If you would, please throw in something along the lines is "X equals 1 upon the first use"... Implied or not, the safest route is always best (unless you're looking for a fight, then choose the one full of thugs)...
Ravage Nocturne Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Uhm, yeah. NO. You cannot target one specific jutsu that hasn't even been approved yet, Sako. Nice try, but that's just plain wrong. Not YET have I seen more than a handful of jutsu that specifically target jutsu, and this isn't going to be one of them, if I can help it. But, seeing as people will for sure approve it (simply because they hate me) let's just remind you: ESSENCE CLONES ARE SEPERATE HUMAN BEINGS. They have a 'soul' and therefore would ignore that jutsu (due to the description) And, the Glass Clones? DUDE, no. Essence Clones is FORBIDDEN, that's why I figured it *might* get away with the stuff it can do. And now you're gonna make them, except with a few less benefits? Man, it's jutsu like this and your "I'll counter one that hasn't even been approved" that makes me really hate NA sometimes. So, if a modmin has a heart (or some eyes) wouldn't you y'know...see this too?
Guest MrSako Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 @Nappers: yes, if the user dodges a Jutsu, the clone is hit @Mokujin: inserted your specified request @RN: I will always create a counter Jutsu or skill to anything that I feel threatens the balance of the game. As for the Glass Clones, they have a limit of 3 and only have 1 Health.
Ravage Nocturne Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 @Nappers: yes, if the user dodges a Jutsu, the clone is hit@Mokujin: inserted your specified request @RN: I will always create a counter Jutsu or skill to anything that I feel threatens the balance of the game. As for the Glass Clones, they have a limit of 3 and only have 1 Health. Yes, but targeting specific things, such as Essence Clones, is pretty much (pardon the language) bullshit. I hate it how people refuse to deal with the 'back doors' that all jutsu have, and just make counters to every freakin' thing in the world. Yes, I see the point in having counters to specific 'types' of attacks and such, but specifically targetting a handful or one jutsu? That's just plain lame. And, fine, I'll see the Glass idea as being seperate (although it is 'leech' of you)
Kouta Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 glass clone: NO..its not forbidden, so stats shall not remain the same as users, end of story.
Guest MrSako Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 I made changes to the mirror clone such that: -it no longer has stats = user -clones may not use forbidden level jutsu (in addition to summoning and bunshin jutsu) -clones follow normal bunshin rules (go user's every other turn)
Mokujin Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Hm... I'd say all systems go... But... One thing on Glass Clones: Could one not use them to get a total of 8 uses out of Knowing the Elements and the like (3 Bunshins + Your own)...? Combine that with Savior and can see quite a bit of invincibility coming into play... While Savior wouldn't be an issue, those would, and so I'd say a statement of "These clones can use all skills except Iron Will, The Seeing Mind, and Knowing the Elements"... It wouldn't be so bad then, I guess...
Guest MrSako Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Actually, you can use Savior + Knowing the Elements with any of the Bunshins... so long as your character knows 'savior' (which is usable once per battle) And skills that are 'once per battle' are used up, either by you or the clones, so it would work maybe once, but other than that, no more. And if your clone uses savior then the main character can't use it.
Nappers Posted August 27, 2006 Posted August 27, 2006 Gyokko Ryu: Uchikeshienjin (Jeweled Tiger: Negation Circle); - Im a bit weary on this jutsu actually being able to remove Essence Clones; I guess we could say that 'in creating a perfect DNA clone you do not in fact copy ones soul or a portion of one's soul into it' and then it works. But then you could say 'every living thing has a soul', and Essence Clones are defeinatly 'living people' I guess. Mirror Clone (Bunshin no Kyoumen); - Glass clone's cannot use Bloodline skills. Im sure virtually no clone in fact could except perhaps Kage Bunshin, and definately Essence Clones. Yoroiichigu no Kaikou (Full Plate Armor of Mysterious Light); - I see this costing at least 250-300 chakra. This Armor remains until its brought to 0 right? Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Rashomon (Summoning Technique: Rashomon); Approved. Gyokko Ryu: Hatsugoori (Jeweled Tiger: First Ice of Winter); Approved. ((had to cut comments short... forgot to make a call..))
Guest MrSako Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 Gyokko Ryu: Uchikeshienjin (Jeweled Tiger: Negation Circle); - Im a bit weary on this jutsu actually being able to remove Essence Clones; I guess we could say that 'in creating a perfect DNA clone you do not in fact copy ones soul or a portion of one's soul into it' and then it works. But then you could say 'every living thing has a soul', and Essence Clones are defeinatly 'living people' I guess. I rephrased the description... this is more for balancing purposes, as I see it wrong to make a complete copy of your character for only 700 chakra, but others are going past my objections Mirror Clone (Bunshin no Kyoumen); - Glass clone's cannot use Bloodline skills. Im sure virtually no clone in fact could except perhaps Kage Bunshin, and definately Essence Clones. Edited Yoroiichigu no Kaikou (Full Plate Armor of Mysterious Light); - I see this costing at least 250-300 chakra. This Armor remains until its brought to 0 right? Raised the cost. The Armor is gone at the end of battle... and the armor points are reduced by opponent's attacks before you apply your own EQ/Def/Res. The character is allowed to recast the armor before it drops to 0.
Nappers Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 Yoroiichigu no Kaikou (Full Plate Armor of Mysterious Light); Now; im not sold on this absorbing damage before you apply Def/Res- I mean how complicated do things get? Lets say your shield has 500 points right. I make my calculation (apply no def/res) and do 1000 damage. 500 is then immediately absorbed by the shield. I must make another calcuation with the remaning 500 damage, and then apply the applicable defensive stat. Basically; much more potent than that Armour of Sand jutsu we just got through, lower cost- much greater effect.
Guest MrSako Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 (edited) actually, it has a weaker effect than the armor of sand... please note: with armor of sand, you apply the armor AFTER damage has been dealt... Damage + Ninjutsu - Resistance = Total Damage... after this total damage, then you are applying the armor. In my Jutsu... Damage + Ninjutsu... - Armor, and then -Resistance. So my 'armor of light' essentially takes damage before natural resistance... i can 'up the strength' if you want and just apply it after Res EDIT: changed the Negation Circle... it now doesn't affect Essence Clones, but does affect 'Death Trees' and the like Edited August 28, 2006 by MrSako
Nappers Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 Gyokko Ryu: Uchikeshienjin (Jeweled Tiger: Negation Circle); Approved. Mirror Clone (Bunshin no Kyoumen); For 4/5 of base stats, including tank stats? I'm more keen on lets say, 1/2 tank stats. They arent automatically destroyed when hit are they? If they are then forget this comment. Yoroiichigu no Kaikou (Full Plate Armor of Mysterious Light); I looked at it weirdly. Ok. So with the forumla: Damage + Ninjutsu... - Armor, and then -Resistance. Lets say: 1oo [base] + 2oo [Nin] . . . - 4oo [Armor] - 1oo [Res] = 0 [Armor reduced to 100] Fine fine, though you're going to have to record the strength of the shield, just so we all know Approved.
Guest MrSako Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 1/2 stats it is then... and the smattering of other small jutsu?
Nappers Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 All approved~ Though I beleive we are now going to need to put some limits on how many Bunshin anyone can make with that old Bunshin no Jutsu
Kouta Posted August 30, 2006 Posted August 30, 2006 all approved except one concept I dislike..unless I'm mistaken. Your dakr jutsu...do they require all elements and twisted to use dark techs? If not, then it is slightly unfair to ask the enemy to use techniques worth more than your own just to stop it...
Guest MrSako Posted August 30, 2006 Posted August 30, 2006 (edited) Yes, Dark = Light + Void, so it requires all Elements and Twisted Colors rank 4 to use it. Edited August 30, 2006 by MrSako
