Ộ Clan Bloodline: None Ộ Clan Element: Wind Ooc: Open to anyone, just ask creator first. |History| When Konohagakure no Sato was first built they weren’t the only people on that land. Among the animals in the deep forest lived a small tribe of people called Yobayashi. They could be called monks since they were very separated from the rest of the world. But what really put them apart from the traditional monks was their so called barbaric way of living. They lived as animals with with the animals; they hunted like predators without tools as normal hunters use. What made the tribe so unique were their techniques to communicate with and act like animals, techniques that live on today.Although many thought of them as low intelligent beings and savages at first and that they should be avoided there were some of the Konohagakure no Sato inhabitants that didn’t think of them as lesser beings. Even if that in the beginning there were a lot of battles between the tribe and Konoha over who owned the land (The tribe claiming that it was no one’s land and Konoha claiming it to be their land) It was actually quite the other way around with many of the Konha villagers. Instead of living in the new founded village many sought out these barbarians and chose to live among them and were taught their ways. Something the Yobayashi were happy to do since they wanted to spread their view on things to their new neighbors. But the villagers weren’t the only ones switching side, in fact sometimes even the Yobayashi gave up their life in the forest to start anew in the village. In any case the constant switching of sides was the result of the tribe slowly merging with the Konoha village and about a hundred of years after the village was founded the tribe was no longer a tribe but a village Clan. Some of Yobayashi original ways were forgotten but many secrets remained with the clan head, the Moriko. One that remained was the so called gift that makes it possible for them to live with and like animals. “The gift” has never been proving to actually exist but it’s something the Oracle can sense in people. Moriko is the name that’s always given to the clan head and the previous name of this person is not used by the clan members and people that respect the clan. It means Forest Child and the name is given to the clan head since he or she is said to be chosen by their ancestors. The The Moriko lives in the deep forest among their Yobayashi roots and this is also the main grounds of the most loyal members of the clan, although many other clan members chose to live in the village. It’s said then when the The The Moriko dies he or she is reincarnated into another body. Which body that is The The Moriko reborn is decided by the clan council with ways questioned by many outside the clan; it’s done by reading bones that it thrown out on the ground. The bones are read by the wisest woman of the clan as she is called the Oracle. So far The The Moriko has only been a person inside the clan, from the original Yobayashi family and The The Moriko has always been born outside the village and so far none of the Yobayashi people that live more civilized inside the village itself have ever been clan head. Many of the village people, however, have been clan advisors or council members. The Moriko may be the clan head but since recently the Moriko doesn’t always have final say in the clan. Today the clan council, which is made of 5 people of different age (often old) and gender and is stationed in the village, decide things together with The The Moriko. The The Moriko’s weight in the council equals that of 3 council members and sometimes is therefore overruled by the council. |The Moriko and Yobayashi Today| The only pet training and taming that is still being used in the clan is that of birds, mainly because the Yobayashi think flight is the hardest thing to achieve by man alone. However, the clan members are still acting and living lives inspired by all kinds of different animals.Even though they’ve had their disputes with Konoha in the past the clan isn’t disliked by many. The clanm however, have great respect for clans that follow similar ways as themselves as for instance the Inuzuka or Aburame. The most common problems with Yobayashi recently are the clan members fighting among themselves (forest people again village people) over who should run the clan. The current Moriko is running things badly and is having a great deal of trouble in keeping the clan together and most of all the council on his side. Therefore the clans days looks numbered and they’re desperately looking for a solution if the clan is by any chance going to survive. Many are plotting to murder The The Moriko in order to get a new one. The current the Moriko is a man not older than twenty-two and was named the Moriko when he was fifteen, something that also has been questioned not only by people outside the clan but by the council itself. |Recruiting and Accepting| Yobayashi just as throughout history is always accepting new members to their clan. Although with a few requirements, the applying member must:- Be without clan. - Be a ninja serving Konohagakure no Sato and no other village. - Possess “the gift” according to the Oracle. - Be accepted by the Moriko and the council. - Take the clan name as their family name and get the clan symbol tattooed somewhere on their body making them forever a Yobayashi. Ooc rules for late appliers: - A reasonable background story to why they're joining the clan so late. It should have a minimum of 2000 words and been approved by clan creator. - Not a member of any other so far created clan. - Bloodlines are NOT allowed. - You’ll not be able to leave the clan once you’ve joined unless it’s dissolved or during some other extreme case that has been accepted by the clan creator. Normally worn around the waist or on the head.Effect: noneCost: Free to all members Yobayashi Bird WhistleDescription: A small cylinder shaped whistle that comes in many different colors.Effect: Used to summon traveling birds for Yobayashi clan members.Cost: $25 |Skills| |Clan Skills| A wild companion, [insert Bird type]Description: With this skill members of the Yobayashi are able to tame and train a wild birds and use them as their companion. They'll going through training where they learn to communicate with their each other. The user can then communicate with all birds.Effect: May acquire one tamed bird which they’ll be able to communicate with. Requirements: Be a Yobayashi by blood or an adopted member. The bird type must be approved by clan creator and the pet must then be created according to the main site's pet rules and be approved by an admin and/or a modertor as any other pet would. A training session of 500 Words is required for adopted clan members where they learn to communicate with their bird.Cost: -1 Yobayashi Bird TravelDescription: A member of Yobayashi is able to use huge tamed birds from within the clan for traveling. A Yobayashi trained bird is able to be summoned using a special whistle. A travel birds is able to carry on person.Effect: Traveling requires only half the amount of posts then it normally would. It's just accepting members that are willing to join their ranks as long as they do what the clan says. It's like an native american tribe accepting people in and teaching them their ways. Sort of Avatar if you wish, just no body switching and all that alien stuff. And yes I could pick one animal. I'll chose birds then, I just rewrote the story a bit. Edited July 26, 2010 by Zereon

It'll be interesting to see how your bird clan goes along with my bird summons. Konoha's going to be filled with flying things

Konoha's going to be filled with flying things Auuuw.... I was creating this mainly for my konoha character's storyline that has a mutation . Is it possible to make this possible somehow, by some extra requirements maybe? Extra posts, skill, skill-costs or something. Too bad really if not. I'll still create it though.
