This technique is used in the setup phase, you can do nothing else in the setup phase. Katana must be sheathed to use. User deals 35 more damage with a chosen katana. Protector's Edge (Hogosha Enpen) Type: Taijutsu Rank: Jounin Cost: 100 Damage: See Effect Effects: Used in the Setup Phase. +100 damage to the first strike with the chosen Katana this turn. If this strike hits, the opponent is ‘vulnerable' for the rest of their response phase. Chosen Katana must be sheathed. Draws one katana. Description: Coupling their body weight along with the quick speed that the user can draw their katana at, the user makes a powerful slash with their blade while drawing it from the sheathe. Being hit by this initial attack is stunning to any opponent, simply because of the speed of the attack and its devastating momentum. This is a mastery technique of swordsmen, and can only be learned by one who has lived by the blade for many years. Requirements: Quick Draw, Katana of level 40+ Points: 3
