Puppet Control (from Main Site)

Effect: May use an additional puppet for every rank of this skill. May only take one rank per 25 lvls, first rank available at lvl 25.

Cost: Current Rank in this skill +1 (ie, 2, 3, 4, 5)

Path of the Puppeteer

Effect: Effects that 'break' or render Indesctructible weapons unusable for any number of posts do not apply to user's Puppets.

Puppeteer Mastery: Choose Two:

-Puppeteer Defense Ranks 3 and 4 do not have restrictions or posting requirements and cost 1 skill point less each.

-May take Puppeteer Regular Ranks for 1 skill point each

-May take Natural Puppeteer Ranks for 1 skill point each

Descriptions: A shinobi or kunoichi who has truly come a long way on the path to mastering puppets. His or her skill with puppets makes him or her a great opponent, indeed.

Cost: -1

Requirements: Chuunin. Path of the Warrior (Weapon Specialist: Puppets) or Path of the Scholar

Puppeteer Fortitude

Description: Character is adept at controlling his/her puppet, and is thusly capable of defending against an attack with the puppet

Effect: Puppets may be used to block any Taijutsu/Ninjutsu damage aimed at the user. May reduce damage by up to Durability of the Puppet.

Cost: -3

Puppeteer Defense

Requriements: Puppeteer Fortitude

Description: Character is adept at controlling his/her puppet for defensives purposes, and is thusly capable of bypassing some damage with his/her puppet.

Effect: Puppet takes less modifier damage with each rank in this skill.

Rank 1: -10% modifier damage (rounded down)

Rank 2: -20% Modifier damage (rounded down)

Rank 3: -40% Modifier damage (rounded down)

Rank 4: -60% Modifier damage (rounded down)

Cost:

Rank one: -2

Rank two: -2

Rank three: -3 (Chuunin. 5 posts of training)

Rank four: -3 (Jounin. 10 posts of training)

Puppeteer Regular

Effect: -10% to purchasing of puppet-related items. Does not stack with other cost-reducing skills.

Cost: -2 each rank

Ranks: 5

Natural Puppeteer

Description: Character is adept at creating and repairing puppets

Effect: The number of posts required to determine Puppet Durability and Puppet Slots is reduced by 3 per rank in this ability to a minimum of 1 post.

Cost: -2 each

Ranks: 5

Master of the Strings

Effects: May take offensive action with one additional puppet per rank in the Main Phase. May only take one rank per 25 lvls, first rank available at lvl 25.

Cost: Current Rank in this skill +1 (ie, 2, 3, 4, 5)

Requirement: Puppet Control of equal or greater rank

Note: the text on 'Puppet Control' states that additional puppets may be 'used' but that implies that a character may have additional puppets in battle. This 'add-on' allows those puppets to be actually used.

Puppeteer Fortitude; Make seperate skills based of Knowing the Elements and the Taijutsu variant to make these.

Puppeteer Defense; Eh.. Denied. Puppets (to my knowledge) have defensive stats equal to what they have [from parts and other armours] and the defensive modifiers of the puppeteer. A 'Chakra Barrier' or 'Iron Skin' skill for a person with the same high reduction would be denied too.

Puppeteer Regular; Don't we have this?

Natural Puppeteer; Far too much of a post reduction.

Master of the Strings; Rank requirements- maybe more requirements.

1. Puppeteer Fortitude is basically like 'Savior' for the Puppet.

2. Puppets do -not- use Defensive modifiers. They only use the user's Evasion. I'll... make the % smaller?

3. Puppeteer Regular is in 4.0, not in 5.0

4. Natural Puppeteer: will reduce posting amount

5. Master of Strings: ok

done diddly done... dunno if the modifier decrease will be too much reduction if combined with armors with elemental resistances... hence why i believe that there should be a formula for calculating number of slots taken by armor [Cost / 20] but that is on the Admin thread :)
