Hakumei Membership

Effect: Character is able to learn 'Hakumei' specific skills and Jutsu

Description: An organization created by Uchiha Haruki and 9 other powerful Jounin from around the Continent; their goal: to destroy the war-waging capability of both the Resistance and the Empire in order to establish true peace. In order to wage an effective campaign, they spent many years in research of powerful jutsu in order to accomplish that goal.

Transition Defense

Effect: During the Respone Phase, character may apply their Taijutsu modifier to their Defense modifier. Usable X times per battle, where X is equal to rank in this ability.

Description: A good offense can be a great defense. By applying raw, physical strength, the Ninja is able to deflect the blows received from another.

Cost: -2

Ranks: 2

The Biggest and the Strongest

Effect: Used in the Setup Phase. Reduce Accuracy and Evasion to 0. Add the same amount to Taijutsu. Lasts until the beginning of the next Setup Phase. Usable X times per battle, where X is equal to the rank in this ability.

Description: Some people are just born with a superior bodiy hapitus. They do not even need to excercise. Whether they are able to land a blow, is an entirely different matter.

Effect: Used in the Setup Phase. Character's next attack deals +X damage, where X is equal to total health lost [maximum equal to Ninja rank damage cap].

Description: A Ninja is able to take a powerful beating as they bide their time, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike.

Cost: -5

Learning From Your Mistakes

Effect: Choose a target opponent. For every attack character uses that misses, the to-hit rate increases by 5% [cumulative]. For every successful attack that opponent performs, gain 5% on the dodge roll [cumulative]. Maximum bonus of 25%

Description: Slowly, over time, the Ninja can adapt to their opponent's fighting style and is able to gain an advantage on them.

Requirement: Hakumei Membership

Multi-Opponent Combat

Effect: When using basic, thrown, or melee weapon attacks, may split attacks between X targets, where X is equal to rank in this skill plus 1.

Description: A high-levelled form of combat, the Ninja is able to strike at multiple opponents, using their agility, speed, or even brute force to get through.

Cost: -1

Ranks: 3

Requirement: Hakumei Membership, Jounin

Effect: Character may attack on the first turn.

Description: "Be like a small play...but played seriously. When the opponent expands, l contract. When he contracts, l expand. And when there is an opportunity... l do not hit...it hits all by itself"

Kaleidoscopic Resistance

Effect: Activate/Change/Deactivate during the Setup Phase. Choose an Element that you can use [from 5 basic Elements]:

Fire: Wind-type Jutsu deals 50% damage against you, but Water-type Jutsu deals 150% damage.

Wind: Lightning-type Jutsu deals 50% damage against you, but Fire-type Jutsu deals 150% damage.

Lightning: Earth-type Jutsu deals 50% damage against you, but Wind-type Jutsu deals 150% damage.

Earth: Water-type Jutsu deals 50% damage against you, but Lightning-type Jutsu deals 150% damage.

Water: Fire-type Jutsu deals 50% damage against you, but Earth-type Jutsu deals 150% damage.

Description: Every now and again, a Ninja is able to be more than what they are and deliver a blow more powerful than what they have been able to do normally.

Description: A good Ninja always finds a way to keep up the attack against the opponent.

Effect: Use during the Response Phase before the dodge roll. Cancel the effects of 'Crouching Tiger.' Your next 3 attacks may not be blocked and the next 3 opponent's attacks are considered 'blocked' if successful.

Description: ...but when the time is right, you must show your strength and crush the opponent.
