(e.g. Jounin skin costing 5 JP = 220) - X is paid whenever the effect of the 'Skin Jutsu' occurs. Nankan Ninjutsu, Elemental Series -If two skins are active at a time, the user is granted the absorption over the combined element; using the lesser percentile of the elements that make up the combination (e.g. if electric and gale skins are both active and a sound type ninjutsu is used, 1/5 of the base damage would be absorbed by the user). If Rock skin is active and the ninjutsu contains the rock element, the user may choose to use the rock skin’s effect.- Sukindendou (Electric Skin) Type: Ninjutsu (Clan/Defensive) Rank: Jounin Cost: Y Chakra to activate, 0.8Y Chakra to maintain Damage: N/A Effects: May be activated in Response Phase, but user loses Set-Up and Main Phase. - If an enemy attacks the Nankan with Taijutsu (i.e. non-chakra based attacks), they will receive 2/5Y damage and have a 4 in 5 chance of being inflicted with ‘Blind’ status effect for one (1) turn. Once ‘Blind’ cannot be used any longer, ‘Impaired Eyesight’ will take its place. The chance drops to 3 in 5 after the first time ‘Blind’ is inflicted by ways of this technique, including once the ‘Impaired Eyesight’ clause comes into effect. -If used in the response phase against a lightning type Ninjutsu, 1/5 of the base damage is absorbed by the Nankan as chakra. -X Chakra may be used in excess, where 1/2X is the amount of further damage inflicted in response to Taijutsu - Y=The Number of Seals Unlocked - X=Extra Chakra [used to heighten effects; every 2 Chakra results increases the effect by 1 Blind: Your accuracy is reduced to 20, unless your character has an unusual ability to use their other senses and your evasion is likewise reduced to 0 except in the aforementioned circumstances. May only be used once a battle per enemy by Gennin, three times by Chuunin and six times by Jounin. Impaired Eyesight: Accuracy dropped by 10%, any technique/skill/bloodline that specifically uses the eyes must pay twice the cost (stamina/chakra) to use it. The Nankan expels a chakra barrier with a flavescent tint from their tenketsu which, in response to the lightning based attack, consumes a portion of the electricity itself and converts it back into chakra, which is then in turn absorbed into the user, this conversion is slightly more complex than others and as a result, less chakra is absorbed. In response to CQC and other Taijutsu techniques, the barrier emits a dazzling spark upon impact; this is initially painful but also blinds the opponent as they encounter the flash at such close range. The Nankan expels a chakra barrier with a verdant tint from their tenketsu which, in response to the wind based attack, consumes a portion of the gale itself and converts it back into chakra, which is then in turn absorbed into the user, this conversion is slightly less complex than others and as a result, more chakra is absorbed. In response to CQC and other Taijutsu techniques, the barrier ‘blows’ a harsh gust of wind that cuts through the enemy swiftly. The chance drops to 3 in 5 after the first time ‘Exposed’ is inflicted by ways of this technique. -If used in the response phase against a ground type Ninjutsu, the Nankan receives 1/2Y less damage. -X Chakra may be used in excess, where 1/2X is the amount of further damage is lessened. - Y=The Number of Seals Unlocked - X=Extra Chakra [used to heighten effects; every 2 Chakra results increases the effect by 1 Exposed: Defense is set to 50% of its base next turn. Description: With an application of an element, a Nankan is able to create ‘skins’ that are specially suited to any given one. The Nankan expels a chakra barrier with a khaki tint from their tenketsu which, in response to the ground based attack, reduces the damage by itself hardening to take the brunt of the force. In response to CQC and other Taijutsu techniques, the barrier manifests and releases highly condensed stone protrusions to meet impending attacks; the shock of the force is designed to open up the defences of the opponent.
