After his soul is reborn from his body, the ninja remembers his past experiences with others. He retains memories from every person that he has ever met, and anything that took place during that time. When he meets the person once more, he may retrieve it from them. Effect: The ninja remembers everyone he knew in his past existence. May entrust one item of sentimental value to an ally before death, then retrieve it after re-birth. Requires the skill "Soul's Rebirth” Cost: -3 Skill Name: Memories of Endeavor Bloodline: Tama Zettai Description: The Zettai Tama marking absorbs the ninja's memories of past hardships and endeavors as he dies. When the ninja is reborn, he retains these memories completely. Effect: The ninja remembers all of his efforts and tasks performed in his past existence. All of the training that the ninja has completed in his previous existence is cut in half. Requires the skill "Soul's Rebirth”. Training must be at least 5 posts long. Cost: -4 Skill Name: Death Check Bloodline: Tama Zettai Description: At any time during his lifetime, the ninja may make a "Death check”, and give it to his bank. Upon this, everything he stored in the bank remains his upon his rebirth. Requires the skill "Soul's Rebirth” Effect: After being reborn, the ninja still claims ownership of half of his money and 1 item stored in the bank per rank of the ninja when he/she died (1 for Genin, 2 for Chuunin, 3 for Jounin, etc.). Guest IanMun Posted May 11, 2005 Posted May 11, 2005 I'd allow these, BUT, you must take the skills both before and after being reborn. You don't get the effects in the reborn life until you take the skills again.

Guest Enishi Posted May 11, 2005 Posted May 11, 2005 I give my stamp of approval for the first and last skill with hesitation. Memories of Endeavor I just don't like. It seems too cheap to have a skill like that since it makes it take 50 lines (1000 words) to learn a tech instead of 100 lines (2000 words). And if your jounin is "re-teaching" one of those techs to you, than it cuts it down still.
Mokujin Posted May 12, 2005 Author Posted May 12, 2005 Actually, Soul's endeavor only cuts training that has already been done by the ninja in his previous existence...Basically, any training that the ninja had not performed in his past existence is not affected by this skill...

Probably can but just making sure... and if u wanted to take something out of the bank while ur char is still alive... can u take it out or is it stuck there?
Mokujin Posted May 15, 2005 Author Posted May 15, 2005 The "Death Check" just means he can use the account after rebirth, meaning he'll have the same access he had in the previous existence...he still has complete access to the bank, and may deposit and withdraw them freely...the account itself never changes in any way other than the fact that he may use it when he is reborn...and yes, I do like my character alot...I prefer to stick to one role rather than play many...

shizuki Posted May 25, 2005 Posted May 25, 2005 define ally for People. are we talking a PC or NPC? this and Death Check need some kind of limit, because you can't just be given powerful equipment, even at the cost of skill points.
