Rhap Sodos Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Skill Name: No Holding Back (Stance) Bloodline: No Bloodline Description: Using everything in their power, the user works at speeds faster than before. They can move beyond their normal limits, but this causes the user to use more energy for everything they do, tiring them faster. Effect: +10% to user dodge and user speed, +10% to all stamina costs (techniques and normal attacks). Requires 1 setup phase to activate. -Most of the mainsite stances are a 1:1 cost; you get one bonus for one hindering effect. I would like for you to either up the cost of Stamina, add a secondary hindering effect [e.g. -5% to Accuracy, or Defense for example] or make the cost -2SP if you want to increase both Speed and Dodge. Cost: -1
Rhap Sodos Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 Would you also be terribly opposed to changing it from 10% Stamina to 10% Cost? These stances are different then Taijutsu style in that it works for any jutsu type; you could be getting +10% to Speed/Evasion and not suffer any hindering effects if you stuck with Nin/Gen techniques. ... Also i think Stances need a bit of an overhaul.
acillies45 Posted September 25, 2011 Author Posted September 25, 2011 What about if I did a 5% on both? Would that still cost 2 points?
Rhap Sodos Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 I'm basing this off of mainsite stances, but the -2SP cost is because you're getting two bonuses [Dodge/Speed], with only one hindering effect [Cost]. I don't like it only being 10% Stamina, or 5% Stamina/5% chakra, because then you are getting a +20% bonus, and only a -5% cost hinderance [looking at your character sheet, you only have one nin/tai hybrid, so it's not like you'll be having to pay the full 10% often]. Other Staff input is welcome though, seeing as you don't see Stances made very often, and I only have the mainsite to work as a benchmark.
acillies45 Posted September 27, 2011 Author Posted September 27, 2011 Hmm, well alright. Anyone else have ideas?

Warr Posted October 2, 2011 Posted October 2, 2011 I have to agree with RS on this one, you should keep it at 10% of costs, not 5% and 5% or anything like that. Otherwise it's not fair and you're simply not paying for the skill. Also, the SP needs to be raised to 2, as she asked [and as is fitting because of the bonuses it gives].
acillies45 Posted October 2, 2011 Author Posted October 2, 2011 Well fine...you guys don't let me be broken at all lol
