Shuurajou Style: Bloodletting Frenzy

Effect: Every successful strike of this style grants a single Blood Frenzy Charges, to a maximum of 5. If a technique is used that is not a Shuurajou Style: Bloodletting Frenzy technique, the user loses 2 charges. The user may also choose to get rid of all charges during their setup phase, without sacrificing the phase.

Charges are used in these ways: (x is equal to the number of charges held or spent.)

I. Blood Frenzy Charges passively increases bleed damage caused by attacks of this style and causes damage to the user at the same time due to the ferociousness of the techniques. Bonuses and damage taken are affected by the user’s rank:

1. Gennin Rank: Increases bleed damage caused by attacks by 10x per turn. User suffers 5x bleed damage per turn, which is only reducible to 3x per turn.

2. Chuunin Rank: Increases bleed damage caused by attacks by 20x per turn. User suffers 10x bleed damage per turn, which is only reducible to 5x per turn.

3. Jounin Rank: Increases bleed damage caused by attacks by 30x per turn. User suffers 15x bleed damage per turn, which is only reducible to 7.5x per turn, rounded up.

4. Sennin/Kage Rank: Increases bleed damage caused by attacks by 50x per turn. User suffers 20x bleed damage per turn, which is only reducible to 10x per turn.

II. Blood Frenzy Charges may be spent to increase the 'to hit' chance of a technique of this style by 10x%. However, the number of charges spent inflicts a different status effect(s) on the user:

1. User is afflicted with Tired for 1 Turn

2. User is afflicted with Bruised (Arms) for 1 Turn, and Tired for 1 Turn

3. User is afflicted with Clobbered for 1 Turn, and Bruised (Arms) for 1 Turn

4. User is afflicted with Disorganized for 1 Turn, and Clobbered for 1 Turn

5. User is afflicted with Vulnerable for 1 Turn, and Migraine for 1 Turn

Requirements: Member of the Shuurajou clan, or 5 post training session with a member of the Shuurajou clan who already knows this skill. If 'Wild Beast Style' or another similar style (based of of 'Wild Beast Style') is already known, the post cost to learn this style is reduced to 2 posts.

Description: The Shuurajou Style: Bloodletting Frenzy is all about destruction. The style itself is thought to have its beginnings in Kusagakure's 'Wild Beast Style', but the style has been twisted and warped enough that it resembles something similar, yet much more terrible and savage. The style involves, like the 'Wild Beast Style', the building up of a 'battle rage'. The main difference, however, is that rather than using this rage to persevere, the style's user will use his or her controlled rage to do everything possible to cause incredible pain to their opponent, as well as shredding their enemy up in the process.

Cost: -1

I mentioned to you before that you're only going to be able to have at most 5 charges. I wouldn't take my word as law, but so far no one's broken that cap and people that have tried have been told no. Also make sure that it's clarified you can only gain one charge per turn.

- Only 5 charges.

- Would probably be better to just add bleed damage than increase bleed damage.

- This feels like it is missing flavor. +hit, -cost, +bleed. Very bland effects, if you want a bleeding style I would maybe focus only on that aspect and dive deeper into it.

-I'm okay with this, just be aware that as it's currently stated, that using your "Hybrid Plant Style" Ninjutsu would cause you to lose charges, even though they are Shuurajou Clan techniques.

The user may also choose to get rid of all charges during their setup phase, without sacrificing the phase.

Charges are used in these ways: (x is equal to the number of charges held or spent.)

I. Blood Frenzy Charges passively increases bleed damage caused by attacks of this style by x* per turn. However, the user of the techniques also suffers x* bleed damage per turn passively, which is only reducible to x* per turn through skills, and is otherwise unaffected by any jutsu, weapon, armor, etc. that might otherwise reduce bleed damage. Bonuses and damage taken are affected by the User’s rank:

-More typographical then anything, but if you're going to explain it right below, you really don't need to have three "x's" throughout the description.

1. Gennin Rank: Increases bleed damage caused by attacks by 10x per turn. User suffers 5x bleed damage perturn, which is only reducible to 3x per turn.

-Just remember that total "Bleed" damage cannot exceed Rank Damage caps [e.g. if you add +50 bleed damage to a Gennin Level technique, the technique itself can't do more then 100 Base damage]. Also..

-Does your Bloodline work with self-inflicted Bleed damage? E.g:

Rank 3*: Shuurajou member absorbs health equal to 20% of the bleed damage caused for the duration of the bleed effect (Rounded up). Replaces previous skill levels.

Requires: Ganjou Parusu Rank 3, Ketsueki Kyuuin Rank 2

Cost: -2

Chuunin Level: Technique does 60 Bleed Damage - You spend 5 Charges for an additional 100 Bleed Damage. You suffer 50 Bleed Damage, but then heal yourself for 20% of that [210 x .20 = 42] so you only really lose -8 HP. You reduce your damage to 5x [Total Bleed Damage 185] you actually net +12 HP.

1: Yeah, I designed it so that in order to use chargers, one must use only the specific Taijutsu techs for this style. Even if they use clan ninjutsu, it will still reduce charges.

2: Cleaned up

3: The bloodline does not allow for health regeneration from self-inflicted bleed damage, only from bleed damage inflicted on opponents. I will add a section that the self-inflicted bleed damage cannot be reduced if you would like.

I'm not so much worried about the reduction in damage, as I was you being able to circumnavigate this cost entirely do to self-healing. If you can't heal yourself through self-inflicted damage, then...

I haz an approvalface. More?

Also: Removed the old one that was in quotes, since it was for my own reference and the removal as such did not touch the style.
