Gishikiyou Taikyo: Unsan Haigara (儀式用 退去: 雲散 灰殻; Ceremonial Evacuation: Scatter the Ashes)

Type: Clan Wind Ninjutsu

Rank: Chuunin

Cost: 80 Chakra +X Chakra (The result of Y-Z, interpret as a positive number when applicable)

Damage: N/A

Effect: Roll a d100. Any number over "50" results in the successful evacuation from a combat scenario, forfeiting any/all potential rewards or gains. Augment this roll by Y-Z, where Y is the user's level versus Z, the level combination of all present opponents. Whether this is an advantage (positive) or disadvantage (negative), augmentation determines if this technique allows for an exit. This roll may be reduced to a minimum of a 5% (rolling a "95-100") success rate. This technique is used in the Main-Phase. Success or failure, this technique may only be used once per battle

Description: "Run away, live to fight another day" is an entertaining jingle that the Nankan interpret quite literally. They acknowledge the latent potential lurking behind a tactical withdrawl, and approach their young with cautionary tales of escape, hoping to instill within them the teachings of the experienced elders. Many combat scenarios can leave a shinobi at a disadvantage, and having a method for escape can prove quite literally, live saving. There is no dishonor in saving yourself, the Nankan believe, as if you are dead, what good can you do? Certainly a 'last resort', this technique is aptly named due to the individual's image seemingly being carried away by the wind. In actuality, this is an advanced form of the Kawamiri; as the Nankan switches places with a nearby zephyr, the after-image results in the body deteriorating into what appears to be ash, though in reality it is simply an optical illusion as the eye attempts to catch up with the disappearing act

Hedoufuku: Kumo Fuumishi (屁同腹: 雲踏み石; Windborne: "Cloud Stepping" Stones)

Type: Clan Wind Ninjutsu

Rank: Chuunin

Cost: 96 Chakra, 77 Chakra to maintain

Damage: N/A

Effect: In Combat: Increase Speed and Evasion by 60 not to exceed 150% base values. Out of Combat: Reduce required word count for travel by X, where X is equal to 50 words per 100 Total Chakra, to a minimum of 100 words. Chakra spent in this manner requires 1 RL day to recover, otherwise is considered lost

Description: Nicknamed "Cloud stepping" by the Nankan youth, this advanced technique combines the practical conversion of elements with the balanced flow of Chakra learned through water-walking. The Nankan will carefully apply Chakra to the atmospheric moisture surrounding them to form small clouds as 'stepping stones', allowing them to 'walk' across the sky. Although the result is what appears to be an effortless stroll through the air, the complicated reality is staggering. One must carefully monitor their flow of Chakra to the soles of the feet, allowing their energies to become 'adhesive' to one another, so when one foot touches a forged cloud, it provides momentary support before dissipating. Naturally, doing so improperly would result in the Nankan slipping through the cloud as expected. Nonetheless, after obtaining knowledge and experience in the field, such an endeavor can become second nature, and prove a speedy and effective way to travel long distances due to the ability to pass over terrain
