Mother of Gluttons; The Deity of Filth [Gray Group]

In the darkest regions of night, a creature so gargantuan, so vile, so disgusting that the very earth beneath it buckled and whined under it's weight. Tentacles writhed from the ground beneath the beast. A stench so foul permeated the air that all foliage in the area wilted and died on contact. The air was thick with a rancid scent that came from deep dark pools of ichor that gushed from the monster's several mouths. This was the mother of all the giant creatures of nightmare that suddenly appeared on the night of the moon festival. 

 

Her size was immeasurable; each of her movements causing a tremor that shook the very mountains. The cackle from her various throats echoed the world over and caused fear in those heard it. Around her the ground bubbled and seethed with the dark liquid that served as her blood. It burned the ground and caused steam to rise into the air. The viscous black liquid flowed like a lava from another world.

 

This was the mission that the world sent its best to complete. Kill the creature that birthed nightmares and poisoned the land. It was simple, but a daunting perhaps even impossible task. However, the fate of human existence seemed to hang in the balance. The mother of filth sniffed at the air and turned her evil glowing eyes on the group that was coming to meet her. An ear piercing scream filled the night as a noxious green and purple mist flowed from each of her mouths filling the entire area with a miasma. 

 

This was a battle of titans big and small, but death loomed in the air like birdsong as the group of shinobi converged on their target. Something or someone would die this night, but who?

  With her scroll in hand the Sennin made her way towards the vile smelling creature that loomed in the night. With the moon lit horizon heroes would emerge from the heights of heaven to deal with the dweller  from hell below. Once She had arrived she noticed not only the smell but the massive size of the creature that she swore to destroy. Its tentacles swayed as she made her way to the for front of the battle field. So far only one hero had been summoned, surely more would enter the fray, she hoped.

 

Her raven black hair was up as she tied it behind her head, not wanting to get it in the way from the fight that was inevitable. Her alabaster teeth were etched into the night as their bright contrast as she smiled at the vile contender! "A nice night to dine with the devil eh? " She said to herself as she rather be in a bar with a drink in hand.

They also have the functionality of anti-fog, preventing the lenses from ever getting fogged up.

Description: The bauble that has been called Short Circuit by some is nothing more than a single tiny earring which appears not to have been crafted with either gender in mind. The little stud is not terribly ostentatious, and doesn't draw much attention to the eye. This is because it was created to be a discreet defense against genjutsu, and has been used by spies and diplomats for generations to prevent foul play. The earring uses the reserves of energy within the wearer's body and automatically alters the flow of chakra in the wearer's body to disrupt any illusions that might seek to ensnare them.

Description: A simple belt made to hold up one's pants. Along one side there are six stones placed side by side, each with an alchemic array carved into them. Each stone is a very dense material with a large amount of matter in each one. Aside from that the belt itself is nothing more than a tool to keep one from loosing their shorts.

Special Ability:

A Mother's Love: Once per battle during the Response Phase as a Free Action, the user may trigger this ability. This ability grants the user a Shield whose health is equal to two times the user's level; this shield lasts for three (3) turns and may not be repaired or have its duration extended through any means.

Description: An archaic headband from the time of the 4th Great Shinobi War, when all nations banded together under a single banner to fight off an evil greater than themselves. Somehow, this headband has withstood the test of time. Rather than a village symbol, it simply possesses the kanji for "Shinobi" ( 忍 ).
 

Arm Guard of the Gryphon
Armor Type: Arm Guards (Pic)
Attributes: +100 Evasion, Elemental Resistance (Fire).
Description: A single arm guard worn on the left forearm that covers the back of the hand and extend all the way past the elbow (see picture). It is very lightweight and are made of a metal temper secret to the Alchem clan. The metal retains an amount of chakra that has been placed in it and when confronted with a fire attack expels a shield of chakra to block an amount of the damage. The metal itself is a deep black and along the edges of it the arm guards are decorated with a deep green. The Alchem clan emblem is emblazed in a vivid green on the side of the guard.

 

Iwagakure Council Ring

Special: May re-roll one dice roll once per battle; the second roll must be taken regardless.
Description: A red gold ring bearing the crest of Iwagakure proudly on its face. Only several of these rings are in existence. They are traditionally passed down through the generations of Iwagakure council persons. Each is identical to one another; the original ring that The First Tsuchikage would have worn is indistinguishable from the others.

Description: A pair of jet black shin guards made of a lightweight material and two light plates of metal. A normal elastic black material stretches around to hold them secure to the leg, even during fast paced movement. The plates were infused with chakra to increase the muscle reaction and stamina of the lower legs in battle conditions. The Rs715 Shin Guards are banned from all professional sporting events.

Description: A pair of ninja boots with arced pieces of metal on them. They have two bluish orbs on the side which use chakra to propel the user at fast speeds. This is a custom invention of Alchem Syaoran.
Effects: +300 Speed. Traveling posts are cut in half when worn. If worn in battle the user may pay 10 chakra in thier setup phase to give them +100 Speed until thier next setup phase. May train to choose the option to be able to give +100 Evasion instead of the +100 Speed. Can only have one or the other. Unique to Alchem Syaoran.

- Grip of the Mountain King: Ignore the penalty of any 'Rocky Plateau' Terrain.
Requirements: After buying these you must make a 2000 word training learning how to use them. This is to get a basic jist of moving around with them. You must also be at least level 20. ***Optional*** May make a 4000 word post to train how to use these boost to give the option of boosting evasion instead of speed. This post requirement drops down by 500 words every level you increase after buying the boots, minimum of 500 words. This shows the practice you get just from using the boots in everyday activities.

Special Abilities:

❅ Influence of the White Princess
Aisuhime creates a ring of influence around the intended target, instantly freezing anything within the area in a pillar of energy. As the ring is created it appears as a snow white circle on the ground. It grows in intensity and brightness and then bursts out as a beam of light. The target is suspended in time, frozen in the moment and leaving themselves completely vulnerable to additional attacks.
Effect: Once per battle as a Setup Phase action the User may have a Main Phase attack this turn gain the following ability: "The opponent is Vulnerable, Disorganized and Stunned for one turn". This is considered a separate strike on the Main Phase attack and may target separately. If the user is Jounin rank or lower this added ability may not break the CP cap of their Main Phase attack. May only be used while equipped.

❅ Solitude of the White Princess
This weapon chooses its wielder, and once it bonds to a master it remains attached to that person until death. Thought it is not sentient, the ancient and mystical laws that govern it have been given a sentient mythology that have lead many to believe the blade to have its own awareness. Any being that comes near it without first being accepted is afflicted by the sword's mysterious powers. Once unsheathed, the battlefield is afflicted with an aura of abnormal frigidness. Those who come in contact with the unsheathed sword will slowly become encased in ice as the blade's mysterious powers encapsulate them.
Effect: Every time the an opponent is hit with a strike from Aisuhime or for every phase a character aside the master of Aisuhime wields it, that character gains 1 Ice Counter. For every Ice Counter a character has, the character's speed is reduced by x. If a character has less than or equal to eight (8) Ice Counters x = 2^z. If the character has greater than eight (8) Ice Counters x = 256 * (z - 7). The value of z is the number of Ice Counters. At the start of their Response Phase if a player has any Ice Counters they lose x/5 counters, rounded up. If a player's speed ever reaches zero (0) and the user has no other opponents, the fight ends as a draw. Otherwise they are immune to all damage and effects and may not take any action until their Speed returns above 0. A character may gain no more than four (4) Ice Counters in a single turn.

History:
Shiroiho: A katana passed down in Alchem Syaoran's branch of the clan, starting with his great-grandfather. It was owned by his father and left with the clan head, Alchem Rouni, before both of Syaoran's parents left the village. It is alchemically forged by Syaoran's Grandfather and is thus very strong steel, best in the world (or so the Alchem clan claims). The sheath and hilt are a pale white, the sheath being made of a very durable wood, probably reinforced by alchemy as well. On one side there is a small alchemy array, so this weapon can only be unsheathed by a member of the clan, or someone who possesses the secrets of the bloodline.
Aisuhime: This katana is a long fabled and lost relic of a northern civilizations of the Eastern Islands. This island, set farther north than any other island in the keys, was at one point held as the cradle to a peaceful civilization. As a symbol of this peace and the power of their rulers, the kings of the small island passed a weapon down from generation to generation. It was regarded as the Ice Princess and was treated and protected by the royal family as if it was a princess of the royal line. The fable of the Ice Princess, which this katana is named after, goes as such…
"In the realm of Fables, there are those who govern every whisper of the wind, others who calibrate the angle and slice of the wing beats of every insect. They are the dynamic elementals, and they rule the fast and the fleet-all that is enclosed in the blink of an eye. But beneath this frenzied tempo are the slumbering elementals, to whom the centuries pass like April thunderstorms and the death of a civilization is no more than a curiously crimson twilight. The Ice Princess is too preoccupied with the raging rush of the glaciers and the skyward leap of mountains storming heaven to notice the minor fluctuations of organic life. Every now and then she senses something green and flickering which she ascribes to prismatic reflections off her frosted lashes. Then it is gone and forgotten. Locked into the rhythms of the void, locked out of the flash of mortal suffering, she sets her sights on the sliding of the continents, the shifting tilt of the earth's axis and the celestial race towards dissolution.”
This katana was lost though as the civilization mysteriously died out. All that is left is the ruins of their once great capitol, which sat as a huge port city within the bay of the island. Researchers suggest that the islands harsh climate shifted, causing many of the people to move from the area because of the bitter coldness. Whatever the reason it is obvious that it was not violent. The city was just empty, no trace of humans anywhere. The katana is thought to be somewhere on that island, though many researchers have tried to find it and failed.
It is rumored that the katana is expertly crafted out of the finest steel in the world. The tint of the blade itself is a light blue color, reflecting the light much like snow does. The hilt is artistically crafted, and the hilt is wrapped in a fine fabric, with a blue steel emblem engraved into the hilt itself. The sheathe is a silver-ish blue and has a ring on the side of it for belt attachment and decoration.

Special Abilities:

Ω Death's Power
The entity that dwells within Hinshi that contains the hate of Oketsu cries for revenge whenever the blood of its wielder is spilled. Its own force awakens in response to enemy attacks, the black chakra contained within it tainting that of the user and multiplying his strength for a short time. In those moments it takes a great strength of will to keep the user from giving into the bloodlust of the sword.
Effect: Does additional damage equal to the amount of Health lost from enemy attacks since the previous turn.

 

Ω Death's Curse
The demon blade Hinshi is a king among swords, unfit to even be set upon by lesser weapons. The terrible force of death itself besieges lesser armaments at the incredulity of their presence.
Effect: Declared during an attack that involves Hinshi. Upon a successful hit, the targeted opponent must roll 1d666. If the result is odd, target weapon that opponent controls is inflicted with 'Destroy Weapon'. May only trigger a roll once per battle per opponent.

History:

The cursed blade of Oketsu, heir of the Akatsuki organization and tyrant of Iwagakure no Sato. Hinshi is said to be a blade forged from the very hate in Oketsu's heart, a blade that bears the blackness of its original owner's soul. The sword measures 3 1/2 feet in length and is made of a finely tempered black steel folded over several times. The edge of the blade catches light with its silver edge, flashing in the darkness despite it's main body staying in shadow. The sheath which carries it is a deep and worn black wood, battered over years from outside forces and the bloodlust it is forced to contain. Along the upper edge, near the hilt, are two very faint kanji carved in small white script. They say "Meiki" and "Akasabure Genome" or "Remember Akasabure Genome".

The appearance of the beast had been enough for even the Tsuchikage to feel from this range, lacking any sensor power at all himself. The presence itself pricked the back of his neck moments before they heard the howl. The night have broken asunder, monsters appearing everywhere but there was one in particular that dwarfed them all. The Tsuchikage was already leaving, the sensor that traveled with him on their knees grasping their head as they pointed in the direction. The Alchem barely needed to assistance though, he just knew which way he had to go. He was in the woods before anyone else, his form flying through trees as he shed his ceremonial Tsuchikage robe in the air, its form floating through the wind towards the floor of the forest. Underneath he was in full gear, ready for the worst at a moment's notice. The air rippled next to his side as Aisuhime and then Hinshi warped time and space to be at his side. He was still about a half kilometer from the target but as he launched through the air over some trees he could see it looming in the dark, a form so massive that it nearly looked like a mountain in the valley ahead. The moon like it's form just barely, and what Syaoran saw made his skin crawl with fright. It did not slow him however, and as he landed back into the canopy he launched himself a second time, this time not breaking the trees but continuing forward. As he neared, the smell of the thing permeating the air, he halted in a treetop near a clearing. There was no one nearby, and it was not a time for subtlety even if they were. The entire forest seemed to bend and break as the monster shifted, trees moving like paper out of it's way in a surreal way that mimicked a body of water. Before Syaoran started his seal though he saw another form pass far to the right, breaking out into the clearing and forming two clones of purplish pink energy. He recognized the form immediately.

 

'Hikari?! What the hell is she doing here...', Syaoran thought to himself.

 

Not to be inconsiderate, because Syaoran would certainly take all the help he could get. He knew how strong Hikari had grown over the years, and she was not weak when they had fought side by side. But... well, coming across your ex in the middle of the woods while confronting a beast from beyond reasoning was not really the reintroduction one wished for. But then again... their fallout had been awkward. The last time he had seen Hikari had been in Rai no Kuni when Kia had left crying. So yeah, Syaoran was not thrilled by this development. 

 

As he thought about this, the ground beneath him quaked, splitting open at the beast moved and a strange miasma fell over him. He put a hand to his mouth by instinct, but he was not ready for the splash of magma that suddenly ruptured from the ground beneath him. He swore as he moved, but it cut the branch he was on in half and caught him in the shoulder, leaving a fresh burn and burning away the cloth at his sleeve. He quickly ripped the sleeve on his right arm away, throwing it down and exposing the bandages on his arm that covered his kinjutsu tattoos. He would have burn marks on the upper arm but it looked like it was not going to slow his range of motion at all. His emerald eyes followed the break in the earth, lava spilling over the field and covering the ground. He cursed silently.

 

Taking a deep breath he started a series of seals. His fingers flickered with a blurred motion, 8, 16, 32, 64 seals he created in rapid succession and precision. As he finished the final seal he held it, an unusual and nearly never held seal was the final piece, and his finders flickered with golden blue chakra as the ground around him shimmered with light. Just adjacent to him a red light started to crackle and spark, blue and gold mixing in with it as it started to climb upwards, a body forming behind it.

 

Shinzui Bunshin No Jutsu

The sight was gruesome to say the least, bone and muscle knitting together as the clone took it's shape. It was more than a clone though, it's mind forming and taking shape as it's unique chakra signature grew from nothing. Syaoran could feel the energy draining from him, all synapses firing as his chakra wove the intricate pattern of a human body and soul. As the power washed over the creature's forehead it's hair growing out in a flash of power it leaned forward, taking it's first breath and opened it's eyes. Crimson red eyes, one slightly darker than the other looked back at Syaoran. The man's hair was darker than the Tsuchikage's, a deep deep brown compared to his much more auburn. A moment passed as he looked at Syaoran, his mind contemplating his fate as he turned and then looked over his shoulder. He worse simply clothing, a skin tight black shirt and dark gray pants. He had a crimson sash around his waist but otherwise nothing, not even shoes. He grimaced. 

 

"... Only a truly sick fuck would bring life to such a place."

 

Syaoran was too exhausted to reply, his chakra unavailable but in small quantities for the time being. The jutsu left him weakened, but him gave a small smirk to the man in front of him. This was part of the jutsu, in forming a new life he also formed a being with free will and personality. His genetic code was slightly different than Syaoran's own and the results were always... well, expectedly unexpected. 

 

'If he doesn't fight with us...'

 

"I see you have a sharp mind to take in the situation so quickly. What is your name?"

 

The clone scoffed, a laugh almost like a growl as he did.

 

"Daoran. If we get out of this I never want to see you again. Let me live my week free of you."

 

Syaoran smirked. Daoran. It was a play on his own name, Syaoran. The meaning behind it was 'little wolf'. Daoran simply meant 'big wolf'. Humorous. If they got to live past this night that seemed fair enough. He was trying to get a read on this man. From his posture, words and actions in the full fifteen seconds of his life he had a synopsis. Proud, stubborn, but at least a nugget of good. He did not run in the face of the beast, he stood up straighter as if he had something to prove. He immediately made a bargain for his freedom and life and was willing to fight for it. Well, Syaoran could respect this.

 

"Deal."

Description: Perhaps one of the most fabled techniques in the history of the ninja wars, the Essence Clone is the supreme and near perfect replication of a human being, or at least that is what it is believed to be. An essence clone is by no doubt the closest known skill to the perfect human clone, but it comes with inherent flaws that one would expect when you try and create a complicated being. The Essence Clone is closer to the creation of life than it is a simple cloning technique. The high chakra density needed to make such a perfect likeness of the user also causes irregularities with the emotional state and self awareness of the clone. The clone itself, from ‘birth' will see itself as a separate individual and not a simple copy. Often they will even show this in their language, as they call their original ‘father' rather than by their name. The technique was brought back to life, or discovered, by Alchem Syaoran, whom dedicating just under four years to the uncovering of myths or legendary techniques, went to great extents to find a way to make the perfect clones. The end result of his hard study and practice is this, the Essence Clone. After so much work and dedication Syaoran has concluded that it may near be impossible to create an exact clone of one's self, at least for someone of his own limited power he admits. The reason for this is because as you try and create a closer replication of yourself you must also increase the complexity of the clone until it is near human like in workings. As would be expected, with this comes things that are beyond the realm of human knowledge, and quite frankly out of human control. Almost an absolute definition of the 'perfect cloning', it seems that only one clone may be forged at a time, acting as a separate human being. It is very important the remember though that even though it may seem like life birthing, it is merely the highest achievement in an age old technique style that has been used by ninja for hundreds of years. It seems that only Alchem Syaoran has been able to give rise to a skill such as this, and without explicit training, it may not be copied. Due to the requirement of the knowledge that Syaoran has obtained and hidden, without his personal guidance, it is not possible to replicate this skill in anyway. Furthermore, even the Sharingan fails to hold potential of copying this impressive Kinjutsu, as there is only one seal required, the rest requiring a certain type of knowledge...
"The Essence Clones body is a complicated compilation of elements and workings, to create a mocking of a human body. A shell of flesh like material with all necessary circulatory and chakra systems running throughout it make up the main portion of the clone. The flesh of the clone is not living tissue, and thus will not regenerate or heal on its own. The clone itself has no internal organs unless it is necessary for a bloodline ability. The ‘heart' is merely a central area that controls all the passing and pumping of chakra and blood throughout the body, and in actuality does not resemble a heart more than it resembles a pump. Once this shell is created the user will imprint a copy of their genetics upon the clone, which if visible would appear as a seal upon their ‘heart'. This imprint is merely a ‘carbon copy' of the creator's DNA, and within making this copy lies many of the problems that arise in the clone. Because this carbon copy can never be made perfectly, small discrepancies are found in small things, such as physical appearance. Furthermore, when this ‘carbon copy' is placed and sealed upon the clone it becomes distorted slightly, as if being viewed through a bend piece of glass. Overall, it is important to remember that the clone is not a living being, or even being held within a living shell of a body. The creature could sense the beings approaching her. Their chakra was like a beacon on a dark night. She wanted to feed on them. Such strong energy, she could easily make another child from each of them. The behemoth cackled and the ground moaned beneath her, as if threatening to give into her weight. From each of her open mouths she launched a slew of black. At first the inky substance merely fell to the ground, but as it bubbled and steamed as if dissolving the earth beneath it, it erupted into a cloud of screeching creatures in various shapes of nightmare. 

 

They took to the sky and circled their creator, shrieking in a chorus to wretched it would make the weak of heart faint. The mother of monsters cackled again, the sound a mix between squelching mud and a vulgar belch. She would feast upon the bones and chakra of these trespassers and send her filth further into the world. She merely needed to weaken them enough to consume them. Alive was ideal, the taste of warm blood weakly pumping through an organism was much preferable to the stagnant blood of a corpse, but she would not fuss either way. As long as she consumed them wholly.

Turn 1;

 

"H-hikari? The fuck?"

 

'And who the hell are these other people, and why does the brown haired one seem so familiar....wait...'  thinking back to the Arrakkis tournament, and after careful reexamination of the memory vaults within his subconscious, the chunin exams as well. He was fairly certain that the man before him was Alchem Syaoran, the Tsuchikage. Flipping the mental switch in his mind, his iris' were overtaken by the crimson red glow of the sharingan, three tomoe spinning around the pupil as he analyzed the abomination that stood before him. Syaoran seemed to know Hikari as well, that was another thing, why was she here with them? The fourth member of their group was someone Shinji had never met before, he caught glimpses of him during the chunin exams, but they hadn't said a word to each other. 

 

A disgusting gluttonous creature with what appeared to be an acidic or almost lava like aura thats corroding or melting everything around it, it was quite strange to one minute having a conversation with someone, and the next you're awakening in a strange place with people you don't know fighting a creature you have never seen before. Whatever the case was, his life was clearly on the line here, so it was time to get serious and give this beast the attention it clearly deserved, it did help his confidence that he would be fighting alongside the Tsuchikage, definitely gave them a better chance of crushing the threat. As the others began making clones, Shinji figured he may as well follow suit, there was going to need to be some serious tactical planing that went into their plan of attack, the chakra oozing from that thing was considerable for a yokai, his sharingan was lighting up like a flickering flame, readying some chakra to activate the kanji written into the scroll he planned to use, he was definitely glad he took the time to inscribe wind release shadow clones onto the new scrolls he bought, it would save him a considerable amount of his resources in this fight now because of it. 

 

He withdrew the scroll from the pouch on his vest, and undid the fastener unraveling it onto the ground in front of him, charging his right hand with his chakra, he placed it on the scrolls parchment, which began to glow with a dark green, the chakra activating the papers inscribed jutsu, a puff of smoke appearing in its wake. As the dust began to settle three copies of Shinji stood at his side, time to obliterate this trash.

For many years it was thought that this rank of the Sharingan was the pinnacle of what could be achieved. Despite this being proven untrue, the Mitsudomoe Sharingan is still considered a fully mature specimen of the kekkei genkai. As such, it has fully developed strength and range of its abilities. The chakra drain on the wielder is significant, but many who train themselves diligently are capable of keeping this rank of the Sharingan activated almost continuously.

Sharingan Insight – Rank Three
Effect: While the Sharingan is active, a character with this skill's Accuracy, Evasion, and Concentration statistics are increased by 3x, with ‘x’ being equivalent to the character’s level. The value of ‘x’ may never be less than 40. All statistical bonuses provided by this skill may not exceed 1.5x the base value of the individual statistics. Bonuses to Accuracy and Evasion are nullified when the character targets an opponent whose Speed statistic is 2.5x greater than the character’s.
Description: The first ability that is attributed to the Sharingan is the heightened state of awareness that the wielder enters when activating the dōjutsu. The eyes are able to predict the movements of enemies, or photographically catalog the details of the environment with great superiority. The enhanced accuracy and evasion that is the root of many of the Sharingan's abilities becomes stronger as each new tomoe develops. In its early stages, the Sharingan's influence increases the wielder's sensory awareness greatly, but opponents with great speed are capable of besting the dōjutsu. At more mature stages, the Sharingan is capable of predicting the movements of even the fastest foe.

Sharingan Hypnotism – Rank Three
Effect: While the Sharingan is active, a character with this skill’s non-Forbidden Genjutsu techniques with the ‘Dōjutsu; Sharingan’ descriptor gain the following effect;
 
“The target of this technique must roll a 5-sided dice. On an outcome of 1 the target may take no other actions in response to this technique. If the target of this technique is afflicted with the status effects ‘Impaired Eyesight’ or ‘Blind’ they may increase the outcome of this roll by +2 or +5 (respectively).”
 
Additionally, characters with this skill may purchase the technique ‘Genjutsu: Sharingan’ and while the Sharingan is active, ‘Genjutsu: Sharingan’ is considered seal-less.
Description: Though the many other facets of the Sharingan are greatly desired across the world, none can argue that perhaps the most potent aspect of the Sharingan is its ability to entrap a target within a Genjutsu at just a glance. Early stages of this ability manifest in incomplete ways, no more or less potent than comparable genjutsu- but later evolutions tap into the eye's ability to completely enrapture a target within the Sharingan wielder's mental whims.

Sharingan Copy – Rank Three
Effect: If the Sharingan is active during the Response Phase, a character with this skill may pay .6x Chakra, where 'x' is the cost of any technique used after this character's previous turn. The character must roll a 10-sided dice, and on an outcome of 1 - 7, the technique may be added to the character’s list of known techniques. Techniques added in this way have no Jutsu Point cost. Techniques of a certain Element, Archetype, or Style may be used without the necessary skill, but the Sharingan must be active to utilize techniques which require skills that the character does not possess. Techniques with bloodline or clan skill requirements that the character does not possess, or techniques that the character could not purchase for their standard Jutsu Point cost may not be copied. This skill may be activated 3 times per battle, or 1 time per role-play topic. Activating this skill is a free action.
Description: The power to record and store the details of any technique witnessed is a feat that has long made the Sharingan one of the most coveted kekkei genkai in existence. By simply having their bloodline active, wielders of the Sharingan are able to see the most minute details in the muscles of their foes, identify handseals in mid-combat, and even see the exact patterns of the enemy's chakra. These abilities make Sharingan-wielders impressive copy cats. In it's formative stages, the act of copying a technique is more strenuous on the body, and can produce hit or miss replications, but as the bloodline matures and the wielder becomes more practiced, the ability becomes almost fool-proof.

Effect: When a character with this skill successfully utilizes Sharingan Copy against a technique, the unresolved technique has a 30% chance of being negated. This is a triggered effect and may only activate 2 times per battle. The character consumes their Main Phase on a turn in which this skill activates. The activation of this skill is a free action.
Description: So fast are the reaction times of those who wield the Sharingan, that the brain is capable of quickly responding to incoming threats, and exactly duplicating the attacks of their enemies. In doing so, the wielder is able to match the exact force of the threat and nullify it. The fully matured Sharingan is a much more reliable tool when attempting to negate an incoming threat, and can competently match the force of enemy attacks.

During the Setup Phase, as a Free Action, the user of this technique may choose to destroy a 'Shadow Clone' created by this technique to increase the fail chance of any Response Phase techniques used in response to a chosen attack by +15%. If a 'Shadow Clone' created by this technique is destroyed by an attack, the user of that attack has a 75% chance of being afflicted with 1 turn of the status effect 'Clobbered'.
Description: Despite being an extremely powerful jutsu, the Shadow Clone Technique is basic in its function. When created by the Second Hokage, the original Kage Bunshin's ability to be molded with chakra natures of the user was never explored. Over the generations following, that legacy was left to other ninja, each with their own chakra natures. The Fūton; Kage Bunshin is one of those natural enhancements to the original jutsu. By molding their clones using wind-natured chakra, a user is capable of creating shadow clones made of a whirling tempest wrapped in a thin skin. When destroyed, these clones release a torrent of winds that carry the usual smoke of a destroyed clone and create a momentary smokescreen that distract foes. These gusts of wind are strong enough to knock grown men through solid walls.

Hagemasu Kikuya was last to arrive of the four chosen heroes, choosing to make the most of her leisurely stroll through the scenic lava-strewn wasteland and the pyroclastic flow that birthed some sort of noxious, choking gas. In the middle stood a creature far too foul on far too many dimensions. Not only was its scent putrid but its chakra as well, and the sensor's keen perception recoiled. The Otogakure jounin encountered yokai before, but this mother of demons was perhaps the vilest yet. This mother of demons was so fat, even the mountains trembled with her movements. Kikuya kept the hems of her fine robes in in one hand as her spotless boots picked through pebbles and rubble to the site of destruction. It didn't do well for morale to scuff your shoes, right? While others had pleaded, begged her to enter the field of battle and she relented at the promise of gifts (and lots of them), the sound eater had no intention of dirtying her hands if she could help it. It wasn't that saving mankind wasn't a noble enough reason... Kikuya was simply a woman lacking noble pursuits. 

 

Already, shinobi of notable caliber underwent their preparations. Kikuya was able to identify two of them- the Tsuchikage which she recognized in passing from some shenanigans in Metropolis, and Hikari whom Kikuya so violently thrashed in Kumogakure. The third, her dark eyes studied his characteristics, and the sensor registered him as the bearer of Sharingan. Never good news, those eyes. Her mind set to work on how to use these allies, or rather, how to orchestrate a plan of her solo retreat should fortune turn dire. Flickering her attention back to the most familiar face in the bunch, Kikuya's snippy taunt was calm and emptily impassive. "Hikari dear, if you're the world's last hope, this world has already come to an end. We lost."

 

The two-headed serpent of Otogakure roused her blood and namesake. Karuna's head emerged from her shoulderblades, the sound twin's expression fairly disgusted with where her host called her to. Slowly as if from slumber, the parasite slithered from her host's body, composed of shapeless mass that branched away as her body took form. Sonic limbs took on flesh, and soon the sound-forged being stood, a perfect mirror to Kikuya. The sound eater gave her counterpart a few moments to collect her bearings, as being a pair of bonded sensors meant this demon's presence was doubly irritating.

 

With that, the sound eater pulled at the edges of the raggedy cloak draping her shoulders and gave the garment an odd flourish. Drops of pure chakra shook loose from the faded fibers of the garment, and the sensor found them quite potent. Mingling with the caustic air, they expanded into a translucent bulwark that barricaded Shinji's newest clones from the demon's aura. "Do your worst, Uchiha-san." The way Kikuya sneered into her last words meant she certainly wasn't using honorifics honorably.

-Unlike clones, the 'twin' is not hit by dodged attacks directed at the 'master,' and gains its own dodge roll for attacks directed to it. Additionally, the twin's speed stat regulates how many turns it gains to it's master's turn, similar to pets.

Better late than never, Syaoran!” Hikari gave a small sneer towards her old lover and battle buddy. “So the worlds coming to an end and the last line of defense are us eh? Whelp, I suppose it’s good to die amongst friends eh?” She flashed another wicked devilish grin to him. Hikari was now poised and confident, she had seen him fight many times over and wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of the Tsuikage. Even though her power had grown exponentially since they last fought together, she knew he would always have the slight edge over him.

 

Watching Sy in action was always a special view, he was a top tier shinobi, perhaps even the strongest of their generation. Even though they both have aged, he still looked great and she would climb him like a tree any day. Hikari could sense other chakra sources coming into the fray, another familiar face, Uchiha Shinji. He was a sight for sore eyes, even though she would rip Sy’s clothes off in a heartbeat and ravish the shit out of him, she considered Shinji a better friend. 

 

“Oy, what I’m I doing here, what the fuck are you doing in a place like this?” She asked, even though she didn’t care why he was here, she was just glad to have another ally on the field.  Sure as shit, another face appeared, but this one was not as joyful to see, but she did still enjoy her friendly banter. 

 

“Hah, if I’m indeed the last line of defense then someone, somewhere fucked up big time. Last time I think I saw you I was face down eating dirt after you kick my ass no?” She smiled at Kikuya. “But I think this time around I can keep up with you, I have a new little friend inside me that didn’t get to join in the fun last time. Live long enough in this brawl, and he may make an appearance!

 

Laughing as the sand shield wiped around her body, it would allow her to get smashed buy any jutsu and hardly notice a thing. With a sudden surge of confidence she would show all of her team just how powerful she had become. With her seals forming at near instant speed she lunged towards the enemy, with her finger tips glowing she smiled as she aimed for the massive behemoths chest so seal him.

The essence clone named Daoran turned to look at the arrivals, his eyes narrowing in what may be a permanent look at he regarded each one with a guarded hostility. He didn't need to care about them though, he had his goal now, as mountainous as it was in front of them. Hikari was the first to act, and the clone rushed out behind her as well. With a quick flurry of seals with one hand he bend backwards and lifted his palm up. The earth around him shattered and cracked, partially aided by the flows of lava around them. Two massive pieces of rock lifted from the ground to either side of him and with another motion he threw his arm forward and the massive pieces of rock took off like two cannonballs at the beast.

 

"Fuck you and fuck your lava."

The bedrock is uplifted, changing the field into a rocky and dismantled plateau, much like those found all over the Country of Earth. The opponent, if caught in these central points, will be first blasted with large chunks of rock and dirt and then hit by large slabs of rock as they erupt upwards. This technique has been known to be used in the creation of natural terrain within the Country of Earth.

The exhaustion from creating the Essence Clone coupled with the fact that he had almost gotten his arm burned off and now stood with the other three ninja as the only one showing any real damage make the Tsuchikage feel... a bit overwhelmed. Especially when Hikari finally noticed him as he approached the battlefield proper. He didn't respond with words, but his face said just about all that needed to as he gave a small smile of frienship, but averted his gaze to focus on the enemy.

'Hikari is just... too much sometimes.', Syaoran thought to himself as he put a hand on the hilt of his katana.

 

He thought he recognized the other two, and the Sharingan gave him a large clue to place the Uchiha. The other woman he thought was a member of Otogakure, someone who had been in Metropolis during the attack. They had never spoken, but they both seemed to at least be able to carry their own weight here. Hopefully they wouldn't become a liability for him. He only gave small thought towards the two of them though, he focus was on the task in front of them. Simple brute force would not work here, just the size of that thing made it seem impossible to put a dent in. They would need to weaken it first. No sooner had he thought that than Hikari rushed forward, her hand glowing as she moved. Syaoran recognized the Five Part Seal instantly, and though he didn't disagree that slamming this beast with a seal was a good tactic he didn't enjoy the sudden start as she rushed forward. Daoran was right behind her, a fire unlike Syaoran lighting in his words as he bent the entire battlefield around them.

 

"Hikari, wai-!!"

 

Syaoran felt the shake of the earth first, quickly moving from the trees and towards the first piece of rock that erupted from the ground with a soaring arc. This was his home terrain, and something just felt right as he landed on the stone. Trees, sand, lava, water, they all felt a bit alien to him no matter how long he spent on them, but stone was perfect. A rising confidence in him grew as he gave a quick glance to make sure none of the team had been caught in the folding of the land. They would probably prefer this over lava, but it might have been nice if Daoran had given them a heads up. The Alchem sighed. There was no helping it now, he would follow Hikari and his clone's lead. The incoming attack the monster had spewed into the sky was concerning, but it was clear they had little time to go on the offensive. He pushed at his Chakra system one more time, but it was still overloaded from the earlier jutsu. Well, in that case.

Syaoran's shot like a cannonball from his rock, blades spinning in his hand and looking to catch the enemy. The air chilled as he passed, like a projectile of winter air and washed over the field as he passed. It was quite the opposite of the lava they had been traveling over a moment before, and the edges of Aisuhime frosted as he approached.

This post requirement drops down by 500 words every level you increase after buying the boots, minimum of 500 words. Aisuhime creates a ring of influence around the intended target, instantly freezing anything within the area in a pillar of energy. As the ring is created it appears as a snow white circle on the ground. It grows in intensity and brightness and then bursts out as a beam of light. The target is suspended in time, frozen in the moment and leaving themselves completely vulnerable to additional attacks.
Effect: Once per battle as a Setup Phase action the User may have a Main Phase attack this turn gain the following ability: "The opponent is Vulnerable, Disorganized and Stunned for one turn". This is considered a separate strike on the Main Phase attack and may target separately. If the user is Jounin rank or lower this added ability may not break the CP cap of their Main Phase attack. ❅ Solitude of the White Princess
This weapon chooses its wielder, and once it bonds to a master it remains attached to that person until death. Thought it is not sentient, the ancient and mystical laws that govern it have been given a sentient mythology that have lead many to believe the blade to have its own awareness. Any being that comes near it without first being accepted is afflicted by the sword's mysterious powers. Once unsheathed, the battlefield is afflicted with an aura of abnormal frigidness. Those who come in contact with the unsheathed sword will slowly become encased in ice as the blade's mysterious powers encapsulate them.
Effect: Every time the an opponent is hit with a strike from Aisuhime or for every phase a character aside the master of Aisuhime wields it, that character gains 1 Ice Counter. For every Ice Counter a character has, the character's speed is reduced by x. If a character has less than or equal to eight (8) Ice Counters x = 2^z. If the character has greater than eight (8) Ice Counters x = 256 * (z - 7). The value of z is the number of Ice Counters. At the start of their Response Phase if a player has any Ice Counters they lose x/5 counters, rounded up. History:
Shiroiho: A katana passed down in Alchem Syaoran's branch of the clan, starting with his great-grandfather. It was owned by his father and left with the clan head, Alchem Rouni, before both of Syaoran's parents left the village. It is alchemically forged by Syaoran's Grandfather and is thus very strong steel, best in the world (or so the Alchem clan claims). The sheath and hilt are a pale white, the sheath being made of a very durable wood, probably reinforced by alchemy as well. On one side there is a small alchemy array, so this weapon can only be unsheathed by a member of the clan, or someone who possesses the secrets of the bloodline.
Aisuhime: This katana is a long fabled and lost relic of a northern civilizations of the Eastern Islands. This island, set farther north than any other island in the keys, was at one point held as the cradle to a peaceful civilization. As a symbol of this peace and the power of their rulers, the kings of the small island passed a weapon down from generation to generation. It was regarded as the Ice Princess and was treated and protected by the royal family as if it was a princess of the royal line. The fable of the Ice Princess, which this katana is named after, goes as such…
"In the realm of Fables, there are those who govern every whisper of the wind, others who calibrate the angle and slice of the wing beats of every insect. They are the dynamic elementals, and they rule the fast and the fleet-all that is enclosed in the blink of an eye. But beneath this frenzied tempo are the slumbering elementals, to whom the centuries pass like April thunderstorms and the death of a civilization is no more than a curiously crimson twilight. The Ice Princess is too preoccupied with the raging rush of the glaciers and the skyward leap of mountains storming heaven to notice the minor fluctuations of organic life. Every now and then she senses something green and flickering which she ascribes to prismatic reflections off her frosted lashes. Then it is gone and forgotten. Locked into the rhythms of the void, locked out of the flash of mortal suffering, she sets her sights on the sliding of the continents, the shifting tilt of the earth's axis and the celestial race towards dissolution.”
This katana was lost though as the civilization mysteriously died out. All that is left is the ruins of their once great capitol, which sat as a huge port city within the bay of the island. Researchers suggest that the islands harsh climate shifted, causing many of the people to move from the area because of the bitter coldness. Whatever the reason it is obvious that it was not violent. The city was just empty, no trace of humans anywhere. The katana is thought to be somewhere on that island, though many researchers have tried to find it and failed.
It is rumored that the katana is expertly crafted out of the finest steel in the world. The tint of the blade itself is a light blue color, reflecting the light much like snow does. The hilt is artistically crafted, and the hilt is wrapped in a fine fabric, with a blue steel emblem engraved into the hilt itself. The sheathe is a silver-ish blue and has a ring on the side of it for belt attachment and decoration.

The entity that dwells within Hinshi that contains the hate of Oketsu cries for revenge whenever the blood of its wielder is spilled. Its own force awakens in response to enemy attacks, the black chakra contained within it tainting that of the user and multiplying his strength for a short time. In those moments it takes a great strength of will to keep the user from giving into the bloodlust of the sword.
Effect: Does additional damage equal to the amount of Health lost from enemy attacks since the previous turn.

 

Ω Death's Curse
The demon blade Hinshi is a king among swords, unfit to even be set upon by lesser weapons. The terrible force of death itself besieges lesser armaments at the incredulity of their presence.
Effect: Declared during an attack that involves Hinshi. Upon a successful hit, the targeted opponent must roll 1d666. If the result is odd, target weapon that opponent controls is inflicted with 'Destroy Weapon'. May only trigger a roll once per battle per opponent.

History:

The cursed blade of Oketsu, heir of the Akatsuki organization and tyrant of Iwagakure no Sato. Hinshi is said to be a blade forged from the very hate in Oketsu's heart, a blade that bears the blackness of its original owner's soul. The sword measures 3 1/2 feet in length and is made of a finely tempered black steel folded over several times. The edge of the blade catches light with its silver edge, flashing in the darkness despite it's main body staying in shadow. The sheath which carries it is a deep and worn black wood, battered over years from outside forces and the bloodlust it is forced to contain. Along the upper edge, near the hilt, are two very faint kanji carved in small white script. They say "Meiki" and "Akasabure Genome" or "Remember Akasabure Genome".

The creature watched its prey closely as they made their move against the monster. It was rather impressive how quickly they responded to the changes in their environment, one even opting to wrestle its control back, snuffing out flames beneath them. And soon their assault began. The first pile of flesh had attempted to press  against the creatures flesh, but it had sensed the threat quickly enough and took measures to protect itself, placing a wall of flames between the two before laughing, though it quickly died out when the others followed up with respective attacks of their own. Chunks of rock had flown towards the creature, but even so it remained unaffected.

Wind Release Shadow Clones Turn: 

 

Shinji's clones sprung into action, he had mentally relayed his orders to them, each of them had a specific task to do, the first was going ot be setting up a flame barrier in front of the real shinji, and the second would be using the great dragon fire technique to trigger a thunderstorm and get rid of this god awful Miasma conditions. Each of them gathered the necessary chakra, and then released their techniques, a flame wall spawning in front of Shinji, and Dragon shaped bursts of flame shot towards the sky.

It seems that Shinjis clones were not the only one that had the idea to make a fire wall to protect themselves, the massive disgusting like creature spawned two walls of fire in front of him to try and lessen the force of the blast, which had worked in part, but he still saw numerous attacks collide with the beast. Shinji knew what he planned to do next, and for that to be carried out, he would need to tap into the latest of his ocular powers that he had been able to control effectively, this would require the mangekyo sharingan to be brought forth. Flipping the mental switch in his mind to change his eye powers to that of the all powerful mangekyo sharingan, Shinji's eyes closed for a fraction of a second as his iris' were overtaken by the nuclear looking red symbol of his Mangekyo Sharingan. Syaoran seemed to be heading to Hikari's aid, the creature had sent a shower of fire in her direction, with Sy taking care of her, Shinji focused on the task at hand, for this to work it would need to be timed absolutely perfectly. He figured giving a warning to his comrades was best, given what he was about to do, it was not often the black flames of the furthest depths of hell were brought forth, incinerating anything they came into contact with, the hope was that it would be able to sear this abomination until its brain fried. 

 

"Hey guys, Get away from the boss as far back as you can, things are about to get a bit heated in here, and you wont want to be even close to the fire Im about to throw, BACK UP!!" Shinji was focused on amassing as much of his chakra as he potentially could in the short amount of time, half of it was focused into his right iris' where he would unleash the technique, but the other was to control the flames enough to get a clear hit on this gelatinous blob. Quickly removing an explosive tag tied to a kunai from his vest, Shinji readied to launch his projectile in the direction of the beast as soon as he unleashed the black flames of hell.

The Mangekyō Sharingan is the very peak of the Sharingan's power. So rare is the ability to manifest this stage of the Sharingan, that some once said that it was a myth. It was then believed that to induce the Mangekyō Sharingan, the wielder would have to witness someone very dear to their heart die. The powers presented at this stage, are much greater than even the Toripuruha. The standard abilities of the Sharingan are all available to the Mangekyō Sharingan, but at a state that is beyond comparison to the other stages of the bloodline's evolution. The true power of the Mangekyō Sharingan lies in the abilities unique to it. Each wielder's eyes are different, holding different amazing powers. The use of the Mangekyō Sharingan is a double edged sword though. Extended use will eventually blind the wielder.
Requirements: Level 70, Dormant Sharingan; Key to the Mangekyō Sharingan [success], Does not replace Mitsudomoe Sharingan.
Activation: The Mangekyō Sharingan may be activated during the Setup Phase as a standard action. If the Mitsudomoe Sharingan is active, the Mangekyō Sharingan may be activated in any phase as a free action, though its activation cost must be paid during that phase. The Mangekyō Sharingan may be deactivated as a free action, either on its own(returning the user to the MItsudomoe Sharingan) or alongside a standard Sharingan deactivation. While the Mangekyō Sharingan is active, its Upkeep cost replaces MItsudomoe Sharingan's.
 
Sharingan Insight – Rank Four
Effect: While the Sharingan is active, a character with this skill’s Accuracy, Evasion, and Concentration statistics are increased by 4x, with ‘x’ being equivalent to the characters’s level. The value of ‘x’ may never be less than 50. All statistical bonuses provided by this skill may not exceed 1.5x the base value of the individual statistics. Bonuses to Accuracy and Evasion are nullified when the character targets an opponent whose Speed statistic is 2.5x greater than the character’s.
Description: The first ability that is attributed to the Sharingan is the heightened state of awareness that the wielder enters when activating the dōjutsu. The eyes are able to predict the movements of enemies, or photographically catalog the details of the environment with great superiority. The enhanced accuracy and evasion that is the root of many of the Sharingan's abilities becomes stronger as each new tomoe develops. In its early stages, the Sharingan's influence increases the wielder's sensory awareness greatly, but opponents with great speed are capable of besting the dōjutsu. At more mature stages, the Sharingan is capable of predicting the movements of even the fastest foe.

If the target of this technique is afflicted with the status effects ‘Impaired Eyesight’ or ‘Blind’ they may increase the outcome of this roll by +2 or +5 (respectively).”
 
Additionally, characters with this skill may purchase the technique ‘Genjutsu: Sharingan’ and while the Sharingan is active, ‘Genjutsu: Sharingan’ is considered seal-less.
Description: Though the many other facets of the Sharingan are greatly desired across the world, none can argue that perhaps the most potent aspect of the Sharingan is its ability to entrap a target within a Genjutsu at just a glance. Early stages of this ability manifest in incomplete ways, no more or less potent than comparable genjutsu- but later evolutions tap into the eye's ability to completely enrapture a target within the Sharingan wielder's mental whims.

Effect: If the Sharingan is active during the Response Phase, a character with this skill may pay .5x Chakra, where 'x' is the cost of any technique used after this character's previous turn. The character with skill must roll a 10-sided dice, and on an outcome of 1 - 8, the technique may be added to the character’s list of known techniques. Techniques added in this way have no Jutsu Point cost. Techniques of a certain Element, Archetype, or Style may be used without the necessary skill, but the Sharingan must be active to utilize techniques which require skills that the character does not possess. Techniques with bloodline or clan skill requirements that the character does not possess, or techniques that the character could not purchase for their standard Jutsu Point cost may not be copied. This skill may be activated 4 times per battle, or 1 time per role-play topic. Activating this skill is a free action.
Description: The power to record and store the details of any technique witnessed is a feat that has long made the Sharingan one of the most coveted kekkei genkai in existence. By simply having their bloodline active, wielders of the Sharingan are able to see the most minute details in the muscles of their foes, identify handseals in mid-combat, and even see the exact patterns of the enemy's chakra. These abilities make Sharingan-wielders impressive copy cats. In it's formative stages, the act of copying a technique is more strenuous on the body, and can produce hit or miss replications, but as the bloodline matures and the wielder becomes more practiced, the ability becomes almost fool-proof.

Effect: When a character with this skill successfully utilizes Sharingan Copy against a technique, the unresolved technique has a 40% Chance of being negated. This is a triggered effect and may only activate 2 times per battle. Activation of this skill is a free action.
Description: So fast are the reaction times of those who wield the Sharingan, that the brain is capable of quickly responding to incoming threats, and exactly duplicating the attacks of their enemies. In doing so, the wielder is able to match the exact force of the threat and nullify it. At the pinnacle of the Sharingan's ability, the wielder reacts so swiftly to enemy threats that reflecting them almost becomes a second nature.

Sharingan Binding – [Amaterasu]
Effect: Characters with this skill may purchase 1 technique with the 'Hijutsu; Mangekyō Sharingan' Descriptor. The chosen technique is considered to have the 'Seal-less' descriptor. Upon reaching 10 uses, the technique chosen by this skill may not be utilized, and all branches of the Sharingan Bloodline have their effects reduced by 50%. Kikuya wasn't sure where she stood in the battle of titans as the earth shook again, this time not from the demon-mother of filth, but from one of her new allies. The ground was swallowed and churned in rebirth. Blighted trees and magma tunnels tilled over, and in its place stood skeletal pillars of stone. She focused only on keeping herself abreast in the turmoil, skipping between boulders that offered foothold before they too were engulfed into the maw of earth. The group's first attempts on maiming the demon were outmaneuvered, as the massive abomination nullified every blow with sheets of consuming flame. 

 

Her observations alone made the sound eater reluctant to engage directly with the demon. Kikuya's expertise did not lay in brute force and sheer speed, despite her penchant for being a close-combat brawler. That applied only when the jounin had the upper hand, and around opponents Kikuya had a steadier bearing with. Rather, the sound eater busied herself with aiding her more foolhardy allies. The Tsuchikage himself stood as a performer on this stage, it would be a shame not to make that an asset. Or at least turn him into fodder between Kikuya and the demon should anything go sour. 

 

Kikuya and Karuna acted in tandem, fluidly shifting between the same set of handseals. Their dark gaze focused on Syaoran and his newly formed counterpart, bestowing the duo with an uncanny boon- one of quickness and fleetness of foot.

The fact Sy thought of Hikari even in the slightest, fleeting moment was quite cute. She was devilishly adorable and their past had dark secrets that she didn't overly want to share in front of some of her counterparts that she had not seen in quite some time. Shinji was a good friend and she was still unsure on Kikuya since last they met she had completely kicked Hikari's ass, but she was still a Jonin at the time coming to terms with her Yokai. Perhaps it was time to show everyone the true monster that slept inside her all this time. Feeling the sudden urge to pet Sy's face but thought against it since she decided she enjoyed having to hands, and his blade was awfully sharp. 

 

Smiling at Shinji as he asked why she was there, he should have known she would be everywhere. Anytime there was a chance to prover herself to Sy, she would be there. Not that she would admit that to anyone, even to him. Subconsciously she knew she would always need the approval of the first man she loved even though she knew she meant very little to him. "Oh Shinji, didn't you know? Im here to save your little Uchiha ass. Cool eye trick by the way, does it come in men's? or do the ladies need to show you whats up!

 

Response Phase

 

The massive beast looked into her direction, its maw was disgusting as it opened up something, she couldn't tell what orifice it was coming from. The only thing she knew was that it was targeting her. "Awe, thats so sweet, hes targeting me, must mean im the bestest eh?" She smiled towards Sy, as it was possible that the beast saw her as the biggest threat but then again she had not shown her true power yet. A wave of fire came her way, but she easily leapt over the massive fireball and landed near Sy. "Watch this you big oaf!" She muttered at him, before throwing her flip flop from her bag towards him. Not seeing if it made contact, she didn't care if it actually hit him, she just wanted the nostalgic of it all.

Summing a massive inner surge of dark Yokai chakra, Hikari summoned her sleeping monster Baku. "Time to go to work sleepihead!" She smiled as her body started to transform into an Ethereal elephant. Her face started to elongate and just as she reached the full height of the yokai power and she took the full shape of an elephant she erupted in a violet aura of chakra and she resembled her normal figure, only with the massive power of herself and Baku. "Time to put on a show Sy, I didn;t have this last time we met, but I will show you my hidden power."

Description: The Yōkai-Dama is the offensive manifestation of the Yōkai's own life energy chakra. The Jinchuuriki's has almost fully taken on the form of Baku, with their stout a full foot long. This transformation has hardened their face and scrunched their features. The skin on their face is almost leathery and the fur on their body is as smooth as silk. The aura around the Jinchuuriki is aromatic in a sense, feeling and smelling so serene that would make the average man drowsy.

Syaoran's blades found purchase in the enemy, swords cutting across the monster as lines of frost grew across it slowly. It's movements slowed the slightest amount, the aura of Aisuhime biting with winter's edge, but the damage has been all but negligible. The beast's hide was thick, and it's size made conventional attacks nearly unusuable against it. No, they would have to take unconventional tactics to beat this thing.

 

Syaoran watched as the allies he had moved forward into combat. Hikari's seal had been devoured by a barrier that the beast had formed between itself and the attack. Daoran had managed to shatter it with his slags of stone, to open it up for Syaoran as he had flown forward, but it meant that Hikari's haste had indeed made her attack in vain. Timing was going to be very important. So as Syaoran watched the Uchiha ignite multiple pillars of various fire ninjutsu, his eyes turned towards Hikari as she enveloped herself in a cloak of dangerous chakra.

 

'A yokai...', he thought to himself as her form shifted and changed into a nightmarish wrapping of demon chakra.

 

The force of her next attack was impressive, but again that and the fireball from the Uchiha were simple straightforward shows of force. The creature's defensive capabilities would turn these attacks into laughable pitances of their massive glory. He frowned deeply as he saw this unfolding, his mind clicking the pieces and unfolding dozens of future scenarios based on the movements he could see. It was at this time that he felt foreign chakra touching his mind. He winced, instinctually flaring his own chakra to counter the Genjutsu attack as his earring started to burn, but he quickly realized it was not of the monster. His emerald eyes flickered towards Kikuya and her strange twin, nodding to the Otogakure ninja in thanks. So she was a support type? At least she saw the battle at a larger scale. They had to have a strategy or they would fall.

 

All of this happened as Syaoran was flying through the sky, his feet finding stone as he finally came back to the earth after his pass of the monster with his swords. He immediately released the two katana, both of them sharp enough that they slid into the stone and stood there on their own. Reaching into his pouch he pulled out a small jar of a mushroom extract. The cogs of a large strategy taking place in his mind. He would lead the charge on this multi pronged attack. He pulled his arm back and threw the extract towards his clone who caught sight of it, raising his hand to catch it immediately. The two shared a silent nod. 

 

Syaoran then turned back towards the beast, reaching his right hand to his side as he made a series of seals. His first ignited with a bright blaze of chakra that appeared like fire in his fist.

 

"We cannot simply batter this enemy down, we have to break it's defenses

or work around them. Attack smart and with purpose!"

 

The words carried to his allies, though he had no idea if words could reach Hikari at this point. He did not know how much control she maintained in that form. He had a few yokai in Iwagakure and the amount of 'themselves' that they maintained was always variable from person to person. Regardless, following his words he bent down and like a spring he shot forward and into the air towards the enemy. The stones cracked as he took off, his body finally feeling normal after the creation of Daoran. He soared at the enemy and raised his fist to come into contact with the beast.

 

'Let's see how you handle this...'

Description: An ancient Alchemy technique that has been passed on for generations since a time before memory. Though ninja outside the clan head have learned it in the past, it is considered taboo to do so. The power of the technique is thought to be too great for more than one to gain at any one time. The ninja engulfs their hand in a flame of blue and gold chakra, visible to the naked eye. Rather than simply engulfing the hand though, the final version extends from the arm like a blade. The chakra is a continuous transmutation, causing anything that it comes in contact with to be sliced on a molecular level. The chakra de-magnetizes the atoms, causing them to lose their bonds and explode apart into their simplest existing forms. Many Alchem describe Mangakuramu to be one of the most basic of Alchem techniques, which accounts for it's raw destructive power. This technique has a distinct sound which many have compared to that of a crackling camp side fire, but sped up one thousand times to a frenzy.

Daoran watched as his attack slammed into the beast's wall of fire. It was not as satisfying as watching it hit its stupid face, but he could live with it shattering its defenses. There was just something so satisfying about hitting an opponent with slabs of stone. If he was do me the hammer that sundered the enemy defenses he could be okay with that. Unfortunately, that girl from their past was too hasty and had her attack entirely swallowed by the attack before Daoran could properly make an opening. Oh well.

 

A sudden movement to his side made Daoran's eyes move over, instinctively reaching up and catching a small vial. He knew exactly what it was, and he gave a small nod towards his creator. He didn't like the guy but he begrudgingly acknowledged his skill. It was also his skill after all. At about the same moment he felt a rush of power in him, his eyes moving towards the weird clone thing the Otogakure woman had. He raised an eyebrow, which was about as much thanks as Daoran would give a person. He turned his eyes back on the enemy as Syaoran leapt forward, leaving both Aisuhime and Hinshin in the ground before him.

 

"Showtime."

Daoran made a quick series of seals with one hand, reaching out and gripping the handle of Aisuhime as the air in front of him warped and the blade was pulled through time and space to be with him. With a quick and practiced motion he slide the stopped from the vial and applied the liquid poison to the blade. The enemy was large, but even large things could be killed by a bit of poison.

 

Without much other fanfare he put the smallest bit of chakra into his body and manipulated the gravity around him. Bounding upward he suddenly felt like the monster was down from him and he started to fall in it's direction. A wicked grin split his face as he came at the enemy this time, single blade raised above his head as he neared and a trail of frost following him from Aisuhime.

Any being that comes near it without first being accepted is afflicted by the sword's mysterious powers. Once unsheathed, the battlefield is afflicted with an aura of abnormal frigidness. Those who come in contact with the unsheathed sword will slowly become encased in ice as the blade's mysterious powers encapsulate them.
Effect: Every time the an opponent is hit with a strike from Aisuhime or for every phase a character aside the master of Aisuhime wields it, that character gains 1 Ice Counter. History:
Shiroiho: A katana passed down in Alchem Syaoran's branch of the clan, starting with his great-grandfather. It was owned by his father and left with the clan head, Alchem Rouni, before both of Syaoran's parents left the village. It is alchemically forged by Syaoran's Grandfather and is thus very strong steel, best in the world (or so the Alchem clan claims). The sheath and hilt are a pale white, the sheath being made of a very durable wood, probably reinforced by alchemy as well. On one side there is a small alchemy array, so this weapon can only be unsheathed by a member of the clan, or someone who possesses the secrets of the bloodline.
Aisuhime: This katana is a long fabled and lost relic of a northern civilizations of the Eastern Islands. This island, set farther north than any other island in the keys, was at one point held as the cradle to a peaceful civilization. As a symbol of this peace and the power of their rulers, the kings of the small island passed a weapon down from generation to generation. It was regarded as the Ice Princess and was treated and protected by the royal family as if it was a princess of the royal line. The fable of the Ice Princess, which this katana is named after, goes as such…
"In the realm of Fables, there are those who govern every whisper of the wind, others who calibrate the angle and slice of the wing beats of every insect. They are the dynamic elementals, and they rule the fast and the fleet-all that is enclosed in the blink of an eye. But beneath this frenzied tempo are the slumbering elementals, to whom the centuries pass like April thunderstorms and the death of a civilization is no more than a curiously crimson twilight. The Ice Princess is too preoccupied with the raging rush of the glaciers and the skyward leap of mountains storming heaven to notice the minor fluctuations of organic life. Every now and then she senses something green and flickering which she ascribes to prismatic reflections off her frosted lashes. Then it is gone and forgotten. Locked into the rhythms of the void, locked out of the flash of mortal suffering, she sets her sights on the sliding of the continents, the shifting tilt of the earth's axis and the celestial race towards dissolution.”
This katana was lost though as the civilization mysteriously died out. All that is left is the ruins of their once great capitol, which sat as a huge port city within the bay of the island. Researchers suggest that the islands harsh climate shifted, causing many of the people to move from the area because of the bitter coldness. Whatever the reason it is obvious that it was not violent. The city was just empty, no trace of humans anywhere. The katana is thought to be somewhere on that island, though many researchers have tried to find it and failed.
It is rumored that the katana is expertly crafted out of the finest steel in the world. The tint of the blade itself is a light blue color, reflecting the light much like snow does. The hilt is artistically crafted, and the hilt is wrapped in a fine fabric, with a blue steel emblem engraved into the hilt itself. The sheathe is a silver-ish blue and has a ring on the side of it for belt attachment and decoration.

The blast and aftermath from the attack that Hikari used, what Shinji was sure was a yokai dama, he had only read about such a thing, but seeing it first hand was....incredible. Hikari's energy was still pulsing after her use of the jutsu, her yokai state was still flickering, it was unbelievable she still had the energy to even stand, from what the history books said, it took an inordinate amount of yokai chakra to pull off that technique, and seriously difficult and risky training at that; Shinji had seriously underestimated his friend from the sand. "Holy shit."

 

There wasn't much of a delay after Hikaris attack that seemed to devastate everything surrounding the creature and five shinobi, the creature stopped taking hits from everyone as its energy swelled, Shinji could see the fire nature mix in with the chakra as it drew in a sizable breath what happened next took only seconds but felt like minutes as it spewed forth a massive fireball which after slamming its fist down on to it shot debris and everyone flying backwards, it happened so quickly they had fractions of a second to try and either escape or brace for the blast. Shinji definitely didn't have the time to even body flicker out of the fall out, he was shot backwards with the force of the blast his feet sliding on the ground kicking up dirt and rocks as he finally slowed to a stop, smoke rising off his arm guards, he patted out a small smoldering piece of his clothing that was singed off.

 

The concussive force of the explosion had managed to knock the wind out of Shinji's lungs, his throat struggling to stay open as he choked for a minute desperately trying to catch his breath, his eyes straining as the anxiety grew and grew each second he couldn't draw a breath into his lungs; before he finally was able to breathe  in sharply returning air to his chest. His ears were ringing slightly, and his vision partially impairde, but that faded fast and returned to normal half a minute after the impact. Staggering to his feet he braced for a potential aftershock and as relieved when there wasnt one. 

 

Syaoran and his clones were making quick work of the creature too, his essence clone using an enchanted sword to slice and dice some of the flesh off the creatures side, while the original Syaoran used a fire jutsu that made some of the uchiha clan techniques look like an academy student messing about, his sharingan's tomoe spun as he analyzed the seals and chakra used in the jutsu, it was a ridiculous amount of chakra put into a singular move, Shinji wasnt even certain he had enough chakra to attempt it, if he didnt he could end up killing himself, best to store that in the vault for five years down the line when I have more energy.
 

There was already a trail of half dried blood running down Shinjis right side of his face, originating from either side of his right eye, the cost of using the mangekyo sharingans powers from within, it had finally stopped trickling down his cheek, it throbbed like an icy dagger jammed into his skull. Reaching into his pocket he pulled one of the brown pills from the case, and popped one into his mouth quickly swallowing it letting the burst of energy get him back in this fight.

The series of attacks seemed to finally get through to the enemy, it's shape thrashing as Syaoran's attack along with the others collided with it. Watching the Yokai-dama attack and Shinji's Amaterasu bite into the horror gave him an idea. They had to continue focusing on whittling this thing down until it was in a manageable strength. Syaoran's feet found the ground just in time though for the earth to tremble. Fire erupted from the beast scorching the earth and sending a wave over all of them. 

 

"Fall bac-!"

 

Syaoran was not even able to get all the words out before the fire hit him. His mind was already picking apart the elements, his eyes watching the wave of fire and a synapse of chakra in his brain firing. As the fire met him he raised his arm guards to shield him and the fire around him shattered in blue and gold light as he instantly started transmuting the air around him to disperse a portion of the flames and keep himself safe. It wasn't often that the Alchem's mastery of the elements was on display like this, but desperate times called for desperate measures and there was no way he could hold back his clan secrets in a fight like this. As the fire washed over him, Syaoran would stand up, finding himself knocked back quite a few dozen meters along the ground. He had taken damage, but only a small amount of what the beast had sent out. His clan abilities, armor, and natural hearty Tsuchi no Kuni upbringing were all to thank for that. He looked to the side, he was back where he had left Hinshi and Aisuhime. The white katana was gone, currently in the hands of Daoran, but Hinshi was still here. Syaoran grabbed the sword, standing up as he did to face the enemy.

It is very lightweight and are made of a metal temper secret to the Alchem clan. The metal retains an amount of chakra that has been placed in it and when confronted with a fire attack expels a shield of chakra to block an amount of the damage. The metal itself is a deep black and along the edges of it the arm guards are decorated with a deep green. The Alchem clan emblem is emblazed in a vivid green on the side of the guard.

The sound eater twins maintained their illusions, watching the battle from afar. Kikuya's expression was sour as the beast endured a battering onslaught of high-caliber techniques but seemingly walked away unfazed. The thing was on fire in so many different ways, oblivious to its affliction. Such a sign did not bode well for the non-demonic mortals remaining on the field... or Hikari, whatever she'd become. The eerie feeling of a yokai cloak engulfing the dark-haired woman would have raised a question from Kikuya at any other time. Here and now though, an unexpected jinchuriki transformation paled compared to the many-mouthed spawn-mother that threatened to gobble up everything that moved.

 

Kikuya sensed the pulsing ring of fire just an instant too late. Her sensory abilities registered the great distortion in the creature's chakra, but the demon was quick. A blazing wreath of flame swept across the flattened remains of the battlefield accompanied by an equally disruptive shockwave. It charred away all manner of organics that lay tossed awry from the earth being raised into pillars and then trodden down again. The sound pair could only crouch as they endured the heat, sensing many of the allied clones disappearing to the inferno. 

 

Sapped of strength and charred all over, Kikuya couldn't muster a counterattack. Rather, the jounin spent time licking her wounds. Karuna, though she still stood, remained weaker in constitution and took the brunt of the blast. With arms outstretched, the twins met and merged like liquid until Kikuya stood alone.

The bite of Aisuhime cut across the monster as Daoran ran along it, using chakra to glide across the beast's body and beyond it. As he landed on the ground though he could feel a growing chakra and he looked backwards just in time to see an inferno splashing across the battlefield all around him. With pure instinct he changed his orientation, a subtle manipulation of gravity chakra as he fell upwards into the air with sudden zipping motion. He felt the fire washing over him and the bright light and smoke covered his movements from the enemy. As he spun in the air, his hand still on Aisuhime he gave a small laugh as he looked down at the enemy below.

 

"Cocky little thing."

 

Daoran reoriented himself quickly, putting a second hand on the weapon and allowing himself to fall towards the enemy. It looked like everyone else was overtaken by the beast's attack, black fire roaring across it's body. It didn't seem to be expecting anyone to be coming at it but Daoran was not really good at meeting expectations anyways. With a blur of motion he came down on the Mother of Gluttons like a meteor from space, Aisuhime just a blur of blue light in his hands. The Essence Clone roared as he came down on his target, clearly intending to continue the onslaught with Aisuhime.

Any being that comes near it without first being accepted is afflicted by the sword's mysterious powers. Once unsheathed, the battlefield is afflicted with an aura of abnormal frigidness. Those who come in contact with the unsheathed sword will slowly become encased in ice as the blade's mysterious powers encapsulate them.
Effect: Every time the an opponent is hit with a strike from Aisuhime or for every phase a character aside the master of Aisuhime wields it, that character gains 1 Ice Counter. For every Ice Counter a character has, the character's speed is reduced by x. If a character has less than or equal to eight (8) Ice Counters x = 2^z. If the character has greater than eight (8) Ice Counters x = 256 * (z - 7). The value of z is the number of Ice Counters. At the start of their Response Phase if a player has any Ice Counters they lose x/5 counters, rounded up. If a player's speed ever reaches zero (0) and the user has no other opponents, the fight ends as a draw. Otherwise they are immune to all damage and effects and may not take any action until their Speed returns above 0. A character may gain no more than four (4) Ice Counters in a single turn.

History:
Shiroiho: A katana passed down in Alchem Syaoran's branch of the clan, starting with his great-grandfather. It was owned by his father and left with the clan head, Alchem Rouni, before both of Syaoran's parents left the village. It is alchemically forged by Syaoran's Grandfather and is thus very strong steel, best in the world (or so the Alchem clan claims). The sheath and hilt are a pale white, the sheath being made of a very durable wood, probably reinforced by alchemy as well. On one side there is a small alchemy array, so this weapon can only be unsheathed by a member of the clan, or someone who possesses the secrets of the bloodline.
Aisuhime: This katana is a long fabled and lost relic of a northern civilizations of the Eastern Islands. This island, set farther north than any other island in the keys, was at one point held as the cradle to a peaceful civilization. As a symbol of this peace and the power of their rulers, the kings of the small island passed a weapon down from generation to generation. It was regarded as the Ice Princess and was treated and protected by the royal family as if it was a princess of the royal line. The fable of the Ice Princess, which this katana is named after, goes as such…
"In the realm of Fables, there are those who govern every whisper of the wind, others who calibrate the angle and slice of the wing beats of every insect. They are the dynamic elementals, and they rule the fast and the fleet-all that is enclosed in the blink of an eye. But beneath this frenzied tempo are the slumbering elementals, to whom the centuries pass like April thunderstorms and the death of a civilization is no more than a curiously crimson twilight. The Ice Princess is too preoccupied with the raging rush of the glaciers and the skyward leap of mountains storming heaven to notice the minor fluctuations of organic life. Every now and then she senses something green and flickering which she ascribes to prismatic reflections off her frosted lashes. Then it is gone and forgotten. Locked into the rhythms of the void, locked out of the flash of mortal suffering, she sets her sights on the sliding of the continents, the shifting tilt of the earth's axis and the celestial race towards dissolution.”
This katana was lost though as the civilization mysteriously died out. All that is left is the ruins of their once great capitol, which sat as a huge port city within the bay of the island. Researchers suggest that the islands harsh climate shifted, causing many of the people to move from the area because of the bitter coldness. Whatever the reason it is obvious that it was not violent. The city was just empty, no trace of humans anywhere. The katana is thought to be somewhere on that island, though many researchers have tried to find it and failed.
It is rumored that the katana is expertly crafted out of the finest steel in the world. The tint of the blade itself is a light blue color, reflecting the light much like snow does. The hilt is artistically crafted, and the hilt is wrapped in a fine fabric, with a blue steel emblem engraved into the hilt itself. The sheathe is a silver-ish blue and has a ring on the side of it for belt attachment and decoration.

 "AARRGH!" The creature had become wracked with pain as the ninja's powerful attacks had made their mark. But as she prepared to greet her opposition with a response of her own she could sense her forces retreating, the sun beginning to rear its ugly head. The monster roared in frustration that it didn't feed nearly as much as it wanted, nor did it want to end this fight with a stalemate but time was up.

"Tsk, I didn't realize such warriors existed in this day and age. That was my mistake. Consider yourself lucky for now, but don't think we won't be back."

 

Fog soon overtook the general area as the monster faded from sight and the sun shined its light on the world once again.

-A small wax bottle containing a sweet orange liquid. Even the small amount in the bottle packs a punch of flavor including cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin and just a little hint of something spicy.
Effect: This candy may be eaten when your character receives experience. When you eat this candy, you gain +100 EXP. Only one "Pumpkin Juice" may be eaten per thread.

2 Black Licorice Bats
-Only psychopaths like this candy. The unforgettable flavor of the licorice root in the shape of a hairy bat, complete with little strands that get caught in your teeth. Makes a squeaking sound when you eat it.
Effect: When this candy is eaten, you may increase the word-count of the post that this candy was consumed in by +200 Words. Eating multiple 'Black Licorice Bats' may stack this effect to a maximum of +400 words.

2 Dark Chocolate Kunai
Effect: When this candy is consumed, the user's Chakra and Stamina Regeneration is doubled for 1 turn. Only 1 of this type of item may be used per battle.
Description: A candy made of rich dark chocolate that melts in your mouth the instant it touches your tongue. The luscious creamy texture is complimented by a slightly sweet taste, but ends with a satisfying, slightly bitter, finish. Oh, and it's shaped like a Kunai, cause ninjas.
