They're rebooting F4 with Josh Trank (Chronicle) is attached as director. They'll have to get a movie out by 2015 or the rights will default to Marvel. I'd love seeing a Civil War movie, but Spider-Man featured so heavily in that story and not having him in the movie would have to hurt it. Same with Reed.

I love the internet. As for the Skrulls thing, don't they fall under the umbrella of the Fantastic Four franchise? If so, 20th Century would own their movie rights. Anyhow, I don't really see what having the Skrulls in the movie would have added*, though, admittedly, I am not a huge fan of the Skrulls or the Kree/Skrull war. It's a less accessible story than what they seem to be going with. *

Yesterday, a few friends and I took two hours+ out of Dead Week to go see this. Turned out to be a great decision. Joss Whedon absolutely killed it; the banter was seamlessly clever and poignant without being transparent, at least 4 big laughs*, and pretty much everyone got their 2-3 character moments**. Whedon is clearly very good at giving shine to every member of an ensemble- as proven by his TV shows- but goddamn if this wasn't just awesome. As far as superhero movies go, I think Avengers has set a very high bar for Amazing Spider-Man and The Dark Knight Rises. * ** P.S. Who's down for some shawarma?

Caught the premiere of this yesterday. I liked it. A lot. At times I was seriously considering proposing, but then realized that it would never work between us. It's too soon to tell, but I will probably end up liking this more than Avatar.

Ah, that. Good point. Also, I don't mind so much the Kabuto backstory. It may have been better if it came sooner, but where would you put it? He was never a threat really worthy of monologuing before this Dragon Sennin thing. Though, after nearly 600 chapters, I guess nobody's really looking for a ton of backstory. Point is, Kishi's done worse (for instance, Sasuke still exists). Also, Kakashi Gaiden+++

This, though I am of the opinion that very little beats "new baby smell" (you know, before all the uncontrollable excrement). If I wasn't so deathly afraid, I would be running up and smelling every baby I could. I'd even take the prison time and the blue dot and everything. It would be worth it. Actually, I don't think I'm scared of babies so much as I am scared of murdering them accidentally. Which, I suppose, would be babyslaughter. Other than that, I have very strong maternal instincts.
