  1. The whole manga is just one mary sue orgy with dragonball syndrome.

    Idea

I think he indirectly called your project lame, and thus it is answered if you should do it or not.
  3. Same, at first I thought, "Oh look typical twist" but then at the end Yamamoto once again proved to be a super badass.

    The Ultimate Fuzz!

At first glance, the chick in pink looks like she's a whale. But then I realize it's just a porpoise.
  5. I think his powers are on level with the higher captains (ukitake and kyouraku) its just that he has the more hacks weapon, though kyouraku could be on equal hacks terms depending on the game the sword decides to play but it is more balanced than "lol perfect illusions". But my guess what will happen Aizen wins! (What!) and then Orihime comes and rejects Aizen's win because she can reject reality and thus, Orihime is the most hacks
  6. I'm gonna laugh of Aizen already cast his Shikai on Yamamoto and he is really fighting Ichigo.
  7. G4TV has posted a review of it: Scored 4/5 but read the review, pretty much a good description of what worked and their qualms with it. Towns and villages work depending on the story, if the story doesn't lend itself towards the whole "oh someone in this village might have a clue," and rather follows along the lines of "oh shit this happened gotta hurry!" then I believe the exclusion can be a pro. But I really like the idea of not having to heal after battles and the reintroduction of a battlefield instead of on screen, reminds me of Tales of Symphonia.
  8. Wrong, first off the developers stated specifically they didn't make any villages/etc because it was too hard to render a great village in depth "Interviews with the Final Fantasy XIII development team appear to have yielded some surprising revelations, including the admission that the game's notoriously linear structure was due in large part to the trouble inherent in designing towns in a "high definition” manner." It was originally designed for PS3 it was simply downgraded in graphics to be ported to the XBOX 360, there is nothing lost except graphics and smoothness, and it didn't come out in Japan on the 360 because the 360 is doing horribly in Japan, Microsoft has canceled or is soon canceling xbox live service and Xbox's are selling for dirt cheap over there, so the company did not want to make a Japanese port of it that would do horribly in sales considering most Japanese own a PS3 and not a 360.
  9. If you loved inter-active novelish ones (FFX and FFXIII) then this is def. your last cup of tea. Due to the negative reviews in Japan pretty much the director of Final Fantasy has said FF13 is the last of its kind. Versus does look really good, but not a traditional FF and more like KH without Disney. Personally I'm waiting for the next FF9ish Final Fantasy, give me my traditional JRPG done fantastically. I'm tired of these futuristic cities and clean, I want my Knights and Mages. Though I did like FF12, I just missed the more traditional combat style.
  10. See the thing is, yes many Final Fantasy's are linear in terms of story and deliver it well, but FF13 is linear and extremely so in all aspects. There are no shops, no towns, you can't control your party's setup until halfway, you actually get level capped I believe/read for story purposes and heres a picture of the dungeon map: http://img4.sankakustatic.com/wp-content/g...e-linearity.jpg Many fans (japanese) have said its more or less an interactive story (akin to visual novel) rather than a game rpg and that most battles can be beat by mashing attack. Hopefully they tuned it since its japanese release or are planning to add DLC, because as it seems from FF12 to FF13 theres a big difference from free flow MMO style to visual novel style. With that said though, still looking forward to it because of the story and the delicious graphics
  11. Really looking forward to it, though Leona Lewis getting inserted into the theme song is kind of a eh because it wasn't tailored to the game and was done to attract more of an audience (was that really needed?) and I prefer the original song that was written for the game more. I'm sure it'll deliver on what I want which is story. So yeah looking forward to it, prob. gonna wait a bit for it to go down in price before getting it. Though one thing that disturbs me is that, after the initial boom the Japanese sales have plummeted (went from being roughly 100$ to something I believe like 20$) and it's received an extreme amount of criticism from Final Fantasy fans for being extremely linear.
  12. So now we have established that Yamamoto can beat down pretty much any Bleach character with his fist.
  13. Well I am latching on old things because they appealed as DotA 2.0 and in that it should be easily transitioned into it, I shouldn't have to sit there and ask myself what is happening. The shop I still think is horrible because its a singular shop and within that you have sub-menues rather than have seperate shops for wherver you want. I'm not talking about original DOTA I'm talking about whatever version I just played 6.66whatever, which is very intuitive of what I want to do, shield guy for defense, magic wizrd dude for int items, etc. But yes, I am too attached to old DOTA because its polished, and I wished it wasn't a BETA so I can hotkey differently, qwe is awkward, my hands fall to asdf gods dammit. Yes I am being extremely nit picky also mainly because it takes so much from DOTA and they will eventually make you pay for it. It also has a real lack of creativity in its original heroes which seem to be a stitched horror of various Dota hero skills, and also has not ported all the heroes and if there own creations are to be a marker of whats to come for their own future unique heroes I will be sadly disappointed. But despite all my criticism, do I think its an ok game? Yea, it has good points and bad but the bad glares out to me because the fact that its a clone. Also I don't think SC ever had a Dota equivalent during the time I played (Maybe it has one now but what can you do without skills?). But there will always be a Dota-esque gameplay because someone will make it and people will love it, the bulk of the community most likely will prob play normal games, but the custome game community will most likely be DOTA and TDs <- I love TDs wish Wc3 had more of them now instead of DOTA . The developers even had in mind the creation of a DOTA game while developing the custom game creation, but it most likely will spawn a new even greater creation.
  14. The particle effects are what I take the most dislike in, but I think you can turn them down at the cost of not knowing what is happening, I think I tried it once. It's either you live with the clusterfuck of animations flying everywhere (something liek zephyr) or you have no idea what anyone is doing because it there is a lack of clusterfuck of animation. What I'm trying to say is that it does do its job by making something look cool but sometimes when I want to kill someone I don't want to be blinded by a giant meteor flying down on the screen, it does its job but not efficiently. I also much prefer Blizzard's Wc3 UI than HoNs. I haven't found one of HoNs UI's to be a zomg needed improvement, I've actually found them a detriment. The shop is wacky, not being able to buy and have it placed on a power circle was weird, and the UI of the shop is horrible just too much clicking, though I admit the buying through recipe's is nice but its pretty much moot if you've played DOta and know the recipe which isn't that hard to learn. Also back to the basic UI the placement and the target of target thing is wacky. Sure its helpful to click on another target and not lose your own frame but iono it just feels awkward and I've missed placing points in my skills many a time because it wasn't obvious that I leveld up and my eyes naturally went to the bottom right instead of middle to check, but this is all opinion and maybe I just love DoTA a lot more than a Clone of it. And pretty much the fact stands that HoN will never beat DotA because DotA is free, or under 10$ if you honestly can't figure out how to crack WC3. But, Wc3 Dota, HoN, and all copies are pretty much going to die the minute SC2 comes out and someone creates an amazing DoTA for that, amirite?
  15. I'll play with you Maely. You can IM me if you really want to do this.
