Weapon Name: Choppa Weapon: Lvl 2 Poleaxe Size: Large Description: A custom built splitting maul made for Sukrai Ieyasu as a graduation gift by his family this axe represents his life style. Modeled after the axe he used growing up as a lumberjack it has been crafted as a weapon. Made from folded steel in some of the best forges in Kusa this splitting maul weighs in at close to 50 lbs. The handle is 2 1/2" thick and just over 5' 6" in length with dark brown and green wraps covering it for ease of use. The axe head resembles that of your average axe but is roughly 8" high with a breadth of 7". The edge has been shaped into a vicious curved edge with small serrated teeth added for extra damage. The kanji for Oushi (Ox) is inscribed on one side and the Sukrai clan symbol on the other. The back edge of the axehead more resembles a sledge measuring 6"x 4"x 8" (LxWxH). This maul head adds great weight to the weapon allowing it to force it's way through its target, shredding and tearing into their flesh to cause more devastating wounds. The sledge is actually a multi-sectioned container that has small containers that allow the wielder to fill it with various materials. Currently it is filled with sand but it was constructed to eventually hold other materials such as metal shot or even mercury one day. Attribute: Indestructible Other: n/a Cost: 130

Been tossing this idea around since my earliest days on here, decided to finally take the plunge lol.

As logging was his family's business he didn't think too much of it. His short time as a would-be Gennin left him with a rather overdeveloped view of his abilities resulting in an extremely loud and daring personality. Within weeks of joining his family in the woods, the sound of the foremen screaming his name become commonplace. Never an overly intelligent lad nor blessed with a sense of self-preservation Ieyasu quickly earned himself the alias "Oushi" or Ox. Visitors to his worksite would often see him attempting to climb various trees with his trusty splitting maul only to launch himself towards other trees in an incredibly foolish attempt to chop them down in what he considered the coolest way possible. Needless to say this tactic rarely, if ever, worked and usually resulted in a rather painful fall to the ground and a slight speech impediment. His stubbornly energetic outlook on life eventually led to Oushi's becoming a surprisingly good logger. Taking his rudimentary shinobi training and twisting it to aid his work ethic made him an exceptional worker and earned the amused respect of his fellow loggers. As the years went by his skills grew, his splitting maul seemingly becoming an extension of his body. As puberty came and went, Oushi calmed down slightly as he began to think things through.... Somewhat. His body built muscle tissue at an astounding rate as he began to actually train himself to become a better lumberjack. He began using heavier and heavier axes until his personal maul became something of great amusement to onlookers until they saw him use it. A light-hearted young man, Oushi was always quick with a joke and quicker to laugh until it came time to work. Then his demeanor would change to be more akin to a machine. When word came down from the higher-ups the Kumogakure no Sato was in control of their lands and was shutting down their business, Oushi's family began looking for other work. Oushi himself however, was left with nothing to do. All his life he had only known logging but for his brief stint in the Shinobi Academy. For the next two years he wandered the length of Kusa performing odd jobs until he recieved word of his Aunt Michiru's workplace being consumed in a fire. He headed straight home as fast as he could. Upon arriving there and finding his Aunt was okay, Ieyasu was introduced to his cousin Terrick. While their meeting was brief it had a lasting effect on the young man. Until that point Ieyasu had never actually met a shinobi other then his instructors, let alone seen what one was truly cabable of. He immediately began asking around town, looking for more information about his Jounin cousin. His crude investigation led to his learning of the Resistance. Ieyasu the Ox quickly became Ieyasu the Resistance supporter by taking jobs that would only strengthen Kusa's economics. He worked hard for his various bosses, taking on three or more jobs at once at times if the company's boss seemed to be against Kusa's occupation. When the Resistance succeeded in pushing Kumo out of Kusa by summoning Gobi, Ieyasu was absolutely ecstatic. After witnessing the power that at one time could have been his he immediately began working on his chakra manipulation exercises from his Academy days, until he could once again perform the basic techniques. After a prolonged discussion with the instructors of the Academy, with a great bit of help from his family as he was no diplomat, Sukrai Ieyasu was allowed to take the tests privately. When he passed he accidentally put the examiner in the Emergency ward from the bear hug that Oushi gave him. Ieyasu now eagerly awaits the assigning of a team. While he knows that he is far older then any potential team mates he is confident that with his work ethic and his skills he will prove to be a shinobi his country can be proud of. He only hopes that one day he can meet his cousin Terrick again and learn from him... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~Persona~ Personality: Loud and brash, Oushi is the first one in and the last one out. He's big, he's strong, and he knows it. Showing no talent for the more subtle techniques of the shinobi trade he instead focuses heavily on what he is good at. His kick-in-the-door style has proven effective and he doesn't hold back regardless of the task at hand. He seeks to become the first shinobi logger, taking his chakra skills and applying them to his logging skills. This setup is proving to make him an ideal combat specialist. His instructors told him to go with what he's good at and so he does, swinging his axe all over the place he strives to end fights as quickly as possible. He is prone to anger though as his speech impediment is a source of great torment by the so-called geniuses of his home. Likes: The smell of fresh pine in the morning, a large mug of sake, and his axe. Ieyasu is simplistic and likes to keep things that way. Dislikes: Anything complicated. Ieyasu is not very bright and has troubles with anything complex. The opposite site more resembles a sledge slightly larger then an average man's fist. This maul head adds great weight to the weapon allowing it to force it's way through logs as opposed to merely cutting into the wood. The maul head is actually a multi-sectioned container that has resovoirs that allow the wielder to fill it with various materials. I would dearly love to have one with Zaraki Kenpachi from Bleach as the focus. Gotta love that crazy guy. Either that or if you can make a crazy lumberjack one that would rock as I'm in the process of drawing up a logger-based character by the name of Sukrai Ieyasu aka Oushi or Ox lol
