Hyūga Ichizoku;
Clan Village: Konohagakure no Sato
Clan Starter: Unkown
Clan Head: Hyuuga Yatako
Clan Age The Hyuuga clan is one of the most ancient clans in the entire history of tradition. It is among the families that founded the village of Konohagakure no Sato, alongside the Uchiha and Senju families at the dawn of modern shinobi existence. They are rumored to have existed before the Uchiha and the Sharingan, being the ancestor of that feared clan and its ominous bloodline. Oral traditional in the most ancient tribes suggest references to white eyed angels who could know a person's heart without words.
Clan Status: The Hyuuga family are one of the most noble clans known in Konohagakure no Sato. They are not without merit in their title, although they are a family to keep mostly to themselves, their discipline in Taijutsu and medicine have lead several pathways to innovations in the modern world. Their near sacred bloodline has led them to become one of the most legendary and sought after clans, which resulted in the clan's need to divide themselves and invent a way to destroy their own bloodline so that it would not fall into evil hands. They are a family that is not exempt from their own civil disputes on the matter, a lesson taught in history forevermore. Yet, they are a degree more peaceful than their Uchiha descendants. They gained even more esteem by their efforts in the defense and freedom of Konohagkure no Sato during the reign of Kumogakure no Sato, their loyalty to their clan head and Hokage is unparalleled in the nation.

Clan History;

ssrEbnz.png

A family divided is worse than warring nations. A torn kin is the worst environment for an infant to be introduced into the world, and yet one of the most elite clans in all of shinobi history has the most notable case. The clan head gave birth to two twin sons, one only seconds earlier in this life caused him to inherit his father's family and the second born to become his brother's keeper. Thus the clan would be split forever, Hyuuga Hiashi receiving the clan and Hyuuga Hizashi, who would serve his brother for all of eternity. The clan was divided into the the main house (宗家, Sōke) and the branch house (分家, Bunke) in order to protect their prized eyes from outsiders and to establish order inside their family. However, power often mutates into dark seedlings, encasing the family in a catacomb of hatred. The Head family created a curse seal that would be carved into each branch member's forehead upon their third birthday to signify the dividing line. The branch family was expected to sacrifice their lives to protect the main house so that it would remain pure and right. With only a seal, a main house member could bring a branch house member to their knees and even worse. The seal of the caged bird also acted as a defense mechanism that would destroy a Hyuuga's mind and render their Byakugan useless for extraction were a branch member to die. Being born into slavery caused the branch family to become hostile to the main family, in much defiance as seen in the hero Hyuuga Neji. The Hyuuga clan has shown distrust towards Kumogakure in the past, as they tried to kidnap Hyuuga Hinata and steal her bloodline, but in fulfilling his duty, Hyuuga Hizashi retrieved her and killed the Kumogakure ambassador. Hinata was the orignial clan heiress, however her father Hiashi believed she was not worth and passed off her inheritance to her younger sister Hyuuga Hanabi. This act caused much distaste in the branch family, as they were only born because Hizashi, the younger was seen as inferior.

The Hyuuga specialize in a unique form of Taijutsu used in conjunction with their Byakugan eyes. The Jyuuken (Gentle Fist) style takes advantage of the Hyuuga's innate ability to see chakra coils in all of life. By being able to view the veins of chakra at their points of release, called the Tenketsu, the Hyuuga may disperse chakra into their opponent's Tenketsu and shut it down. This will disrupt or even rupture the natural chakra flow in the body. Due to this advanced knowledge most Hyuuga have exceptional chakra control. Every person has 128 Tenketsu in their body and the Hyuuga family have become specialists in the anatomy of people, even being able to target internal organs with their chakra. The Hyuuga only need to tap their opponent to render them helpless, which derives the name "Gentle Fist".

Most notably, the Hyuuga are known for their Doujustu the Byakugan eye, knowing as 'The All Seeing White Eye' or simply 'The Evil Eye'. They have one of the three great Doujutsu along with the Sharingan and the Rinnegan. Yet unlike the Sharigan, it has been seen that stolen Byakugan eyes are able to be activated and deactivated at will. The eye grants the user Extra-sensory perception and a line of vision nearly 360 degrees. There is only one blind spot, but the Hyuuga cadets are taught quite early that bobbing their head periodically in a battle will make due.

When the Kumogakurean Empire fell upon Konohagakure no Sato, Hyuuga Aodachi was reigning clan head.  He arranged for a handful of the Head Families to be stole away by the Empire, while also commanding the Branch Families to hold the line against their attackers.  His orchestrations were to ensure survival of the family and for a time this operation was buried beneath chaos and secrecy of the war.  For his efforts, Aodachi was awarded the lauded title of sub-captain of the NCIA occupation in Konohagakure no Sato, reporting only the faceless captain.  Essentially, he had operated as head of all Konoahagkure until a proper Hokage was instilled to lead the nation.

His tenure had lasted for a few years, until what remained of the Resistance returned to enact Chouzo’s Charge.  Although the operation was ultimately a failure, the hope and fury instilled in the people led to a leak of Aodachi’s betrayal and thus caused a sect of Branch families to stage an assassination of their Clan Head.   The assassination force was lead by Hyuuga Takumi and they were successful in ending the reign of that tyrant.  The ensuring vacuum was left open for Hyuuga Yatako to fill for his efforts during the war.

Upon his return to his family in shambles, Yatako addressed all his family as equals, even being from the branch family. He tactically stationed his family to fight for their country and regain their lost honor in each other. When the war ended, they could see no greater hope for their clan than in Yatako, who became the next Hokage of the village and the first member of the branch family to become head. In his reign, he pushed further for the freedom of his fellow branch members. Although it will probably take a decade for the seal of the caged bird to disintegrate from any Hyuuga's head- Yatako outlawed its use.

 Cultural Information:

Clan Traits:

• The Hyuuga clan are easily recognized by their pupiless, white eyes. It is so rare that a Hyuuga be born without their Byakugan that it is basically unheard of. If this were to ever be, the Hyuuga might pretend to raise it and an adopted baby or abandon the child to an orphanage. The Hyuuga usually carry dark, ravenesque hair with sometimes variations for dark purple or blues. They usually have fair skinned, althetic and lean bodies.

Clan Outlook:

• The Hyuuga are one of the largest, if not the largest clans in Konohagakure no Sato. While they have been hunted for their bloodline, it is not easy to conceal their bloodline trait like one would an Uchiha or Senju. With their strong medical and active lifestyles, the clan enjoys a long lifespan, but is grimly due for some population control.

Clan Professions:

• The Hyuuga invest heavily into the medical field of their village, following in the footsteps of their matriarch Hinata. Those who align more with the warrior ilk may find themselves blacksmithing or in investigative work. Most find themselves employed as shinobi, but the clan tends to like to stay in the village or country.

Clan Estates:

• Due to their size and prestige, the Hyuuga enjoy their own section of village estates. Most homes contain small dojos or studies where the family personally invokes their litany of information to pass to the next generation.

Clan Relations:

20px-Aburame_Symbol.svg.png Aburame Clan | Neutral
The Hyuuga share a certain empathy with Aburame, with both clans able to be ridiculed for their strange physicologies. The Hyuuga beleive them to be an important support for the village and actively seek to study them for but otherwise do not make attempts to be close.

20px-Akimichi_Symbol.svg.png Akimichi Clan | Neutral
The Hyuuga have no qualms with the Akimichi, but beleive their route of Taijutsu is unrefined. They respect their ability for bodily manipulation but beleive them to have missed the artistic impact of their fighting style.

22px-Haruno_Symbol.png Haruno Clan | Allied
The Haruno clan is highly respected by the Hyuuga medics. Often find intersection in the hospital and even their warriors find common ground in their fighting styles. The Hyuuga help the Haruno with their chakra control and the Haruno help the Hyuuga with their might.

20px-Inuzuka_Symbol.svg.png Inuzuka Clan | Neutral
Like the Akimichi, the Hyuuga believe them to be too ungraceful in their fighting ability. They do hold an Inuzuka's self and canine control to a high regard, which makes up for their rough movements.

20px-Namikaze_symbol.png Namikaze Clan | Neutral
The Hyuuga feel nothing special for the Namikaze. They respect the clan's appreciation for art and nature and reserve them as scholars rather than fighters. They do not regard them high in village security, but maintian their necessity for village culture.

20px-Nara_Symbol.svg.png Nara Clan | Allied
The Nara are in high regard to the Hyuuga, for their tactical minds. The Hyuuga Clan Head made it a personal point to increase clan realthions for the Nara due to Nara Gensai and Nara Arashi's efforts during the war. It is not uncommon to find children of the family's sharing a game of Go.

20px-Sarutobi_Symbol.svg.png Sarutobi Clan | Neutral
The Sarutobi can be too preachy for the Hyuuga, however their prowess earn them respect. For not having a bloodline, the clan is held in high regard for their ability to try and succeed in nearly all they do.

35px-Senju_Symbol.svg.png Senju Clan | Rivals
The Senju are rivals in only the means of competition. They revere the Senju and respect their resolve, but for that matter the Hyuuga assert themselves as equals to them.

20px-Uchiha_Symbol.svg.png Uchiha Clan | Rivals

The Hyuuga have some animosity for the Uchiha, since they are usually loud and undignified. The Hyuuga actively have completions with the Uchiha for doujutsu bragging rights and spots among ANBU.  Their status among competant ninja garner them respect, but the Hyuuga beleive that an Uchiha should not hold office because of their temperament.

20px-Uzushiogakure_Symbol.svg.pngUzumaki Clan | Rivals

The Uzumaki are rivals in honor to Uzumaki Naruto. It is an old and friendly rivalry that the Hyuuga keep primarily to guard themselves against unpredicatble opponents.

Yoj0QJT.png Shimura Clan | Neutral
The Hyuuga have no ill will for the Shimura Clan.

20px-Yamanaka_Symbol.svg.png Yamanaka Clan | Neutral
The Hyuuga do not pay the Yamanaka much mind. They do value them for their medical herbs.

Byakugan | White Eye | 白眼

The Byakugan, or White Eye is a dōjutsu that occurs within the gene pool of members of the Hyūga clan, and is famous for granting unparalleled insight to those who wield it in combat. It is widely believed that the Byakugan was the blood limit from which the equally famous Sharingan mutated. Together with the Rinnegan and Sharingan, the Byakugan makes up one third of what is collectively known as the Three Great Dōjutsu.

The Hyūga clan blood limit is characterized by pupiless, white eyes, though a great many members of the clan have variations of pale colors that accent the otherwise blank eye. Common variant colors include lavender and gray. When activated, the iris of the eye gains in definition, with veins beneath the eye becoming remarkably visible. The flesh skin around the eye is similarly effected, as chakra floods into the Byakugan, the veins around the eyes bulge and surface, a trait which many unprepared shinobi have found intimidating.

Unlike many bloodlines, the Hyūga are largely capable of activating their kekkei genkai with little trouble, and the dominant genetics of the bloodline make it almost unheard of for a Hyūga not to bear the Byakugan.

The abilities conferred by the Byakugan are centralized around the user’s vision, and increasing the spectrum of what is visible to the wielder. The sight of the wielder becomes so impressive that they are capable of seeing through solid objects, and stretching their vision to a nearly complete 360 degree radius around their person. The Hyūga clan makes the most use though, of the ability to see chakra, which when combined with the ability to see through objects, allows them to view the tenketsu within the bodies of those they look upon. These benefits make those who wield the Byakugan difficult to hit and avoid, and allows them to reliably detect attempts to trick them with genjutsu.

Enjaku Byakugan Activation/Upkeep
• Genin: 10% total chakra •
• Chūnin: 7.5% total chakra •
• Jōnin/Sennin: 5% total chakra •

Byakugan
The Byakugan occurs naturally in the eyes of the Hyūga clan, and is an extremely dominant trait in their genetics. It is considered a good omen when a child is born into the clan with his or her Byakugan active. Unlike the Sharingan, which has a visual appearance of progression, the Byakugan grows in power in a mild, imperceptible way. Only through training and dedication does the immaculate, white vision of a Hyūga clansmen mature. In its initial stages, the Byakugan is capable of seeing through solid matter, and in a three hundred and sixty degree sphere, but its range is a mere fifteen feet. Similarly, all other abilities of the immature Byakugan lack much of the power that they come to know when the bloodline reaches its pinnacle of power. Some of the strongest Hyūga clansmen ever have been recorded at having clear visual acuity at a range exceeding 6 miles while the Byakugan is active.
Restrictions: Ranks of the following skills may be purchased once every 20 levels. Advanced Regeneration is suspended while this bloodline is active.

Byakugan Vision - Rank [ - ]
Effect: While the Byakugan is active, a character with this skill’s Accuracy, and Evasion are increased by 1.5x per rank in this skill, with ‘x’ being equivalent to the wielder’s level. The value of ‘x’ may never be less than 'y', where 'y' is equivalent to 20 + 10 for each rank of this skill, beyond the first. All statistical bonuses provided by this skill may not exceed 1.5x the base value of the individual statistics. Bonuses to Evasion are nullified when the wielder is targeted by an opponent whose Accuracy statistic is 1.5x greater than the wielder’s Evasion Statistic.
Description: The Byakugan's 360 degree circle of penetrating vision grants those blessed with the bloodline a heightened sense of the world, and with it they are able to perform feets of amazing accuracy and agility. In it's initial stage, the Byakugan's vision is at its weakest, but still provides much more clarity than the average person's sight. This power grows with the wielder though, and through training and experience, the vision of the Byakugan soon becomes so acute as to allow the wielder to see impossibly far and with astounding visual clarity.
Total Ranks: 4
Cost: -1

Byakugan Focus - Rank [ - ]
Effect: While the Byakugan is active, Genjutsu performed by an opponent of equal or lesser rank than a character with this skill incur a 10% reduction to total Ghost Damage, and effect per rank in this skill. The duration of status effects applied in this way are reduced by 1 turn per 2 ranks of this skill, to a minimum of 1. This skill may not stack with other skills that reduce the effectiveness of Genjutsu.
Description: The ability to see chakra in its various forms is a rare gift. When the Byakugan is active, genjutsu are much less effective against the wielder. With their immaculate vision, the invisible threads of chakra that would infect the brain become visible, and lose much of their potency against those who bear the bloodline. This ability is one of the most difficult for a Hyūga to master, but as they progress, the ability to detect the subtle variations in chakra allow them to greatly reduce the effects of Genjutsu around them.
Total Ranks: 4
Cost: -1

Byakugan Evasion - Rank [ - ]
Effect: While the Byakugan is active, all techniques with the descriptors ‘Area Of Effect’ or ‘Dynamic Trap’ of 'x' rank or below that target a character with this skill are treated as if they were regular attacks. ‘x’ being equivalent to the character’s rank in this skill. (1; Genin, 2; Chunin, etc) Techniques with the ‘Forbidden; Powerful’ descriptor are not affected by this skill. Techniques used by a combatant whose Speed or Accuracy statistic is 2x greater than the wielder's Evasion statistic are not affected by this skill.
Description: The 360 degree sight granted by the Byakugan makes it nigh impossible to pin down a wielder. Those with the White Eye always seem to be able to find a hole in the enemies attack, and slip free where others would be hopelessly trapped. Naturally though, a Hyūga of Genin rank confronted by an extremely powerful or fast attack would be unable to perform as well as a highly trained wielder of the bloodline, but with practice wielders are capable of becoming extremely adept in the evasive maneuvers common among Hyūga clansmen.
Total Ranks: 4
Cost: -1

Byakugan Targeting - Rank [ - ]
Effect: While the Byakugan is active, all techniques used by a character with this skill have their critical strike range increased by +5% per rank in this skill. This skill does not effect targets whose Evasion statistic is 2x higher than the character's Accuracy statistic.
Description: The Hyūga clan prizes the Byakugan's ability to see into the enemy body, and was even the inspiration behind their hallmark, fighting style. This ability, allows a wielder to target the weaknesses within the body almost as naturally as breathing. Like many facets of the Byakugan's power, this ability takes much precision and honing to make it deadly, and only with experience is a wielder able to effectively pin-point and attack the weakest places on the human body.
Total Ranks: 4
Cost: -1

MtdFp86.png Jūken | Gentle Fist | 柔拳
Description: The Gentle Fist style of martial arts was first developed by the Hyūga clan as a means to fully capitalize on all abilities granted to them by their Byakugan kekkei genkai. Unlike most forms of hand to hand combat Jūken is what is known as a soft style, and as such its purpose is not to deal external damage by breaking breaking bones and instead diverts the force of opponent's attacks and uses that force against them.

As a part of the training to master Gentle Fist, prospective trainees are taught how to expel chakra from their tenketsu at will. This grueling training often takes years, but upon completion a master of the Jūken arts is capable of expelling chakra from all of the three hundred and sixty-one tenketsu in their body. This chakra is used as a means of enhancing the damage of Jūken attacks by surgically injecting chakra into the organs, tenketsu, and muscles of their opponents, effectively shutting down their bodies and leaving them open to more attacks. When combined with the Byakugan of the Hyūga clan, this fighting style becomes near unmatched in strength and versatility.

'Trigram Charges' may be spent in this way once every 2 turns.

Basic Attacks and Techniques with the ‘Jūken’ descriptor deal 1 Chakra and Stamina damage for every 10-x base damage that they deal, with ‘x’ being equivalent to the number of 'Trigram Charges' possessed by the user of the attack at the beginning of their Main Phase.

Description: Developed by the Hyūga clan as the perfect counterpart to their kekkei genkai, the Gentle Fist fighting style is known for its ability to deal massive internal damage while expending relatively little energy by injecting one's chakra into their target's body. Hyuuga Clan Techniques

Damaged Tenketsu
Effect: Characters afflicted with this status effect must roll a 10-sided dice when paying any Chakra cost. If the result is a 1-x (‘x’ being determined in the technique that afflicts this status effect, and may never be more than 8), the character may not pay that cost unless they pay 150% of the base cost. This effect stacks with other instances of the status effect ‘Damaged Tenketsu’ to a maximum of 1-8. (i.e. Damaged Tenketsu [1-2] applied once and Damaged Tenketsu [1-2] applied once would become Damaged Tenketsu [1-4] for the duration they would both be applied.)
Max. Duration: 4 Turns
Cost: 5x

Damaged Muscles
Effect: Characters afflicted with this status effect must roll a 10-sided dice when paying any Stamina cost. If the result is a 1-x (‘x’ being determined in the technique that afflicts this status effect, and may never be more than 8), the character may not pay that cost unless they pay 150% of the base cost. This effect stacks with other instances of the status effect ‘Damaged Muscles’ to a maximum of 1-8. Hakkeshō | Eight Trigrams Palms | 八卦掌

[Regarding Deriving Jutsu; Previous incarnations of certain Hyuga clan techniques have featured a mechanic that allows them to be purchased in a manner similar to Evolving techniques, but without overwriting the previous jutsu. I have chosen with this incarnation to name this effect 'Deriving' as each subsequent jutsu is derived from the previous.

Deriving Jutsu: Deriving Technique may not be purchased by lower ranks at 2x the base JP cost. When purchasing a Deriving Technique, the purchaser may possess the jutsu it derives from and receive a -1x JP reduction on the cost of the technique, where 'x' is the number of times that technique has derived (to a minimum of 1).

Example: Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms [base JP: 5; Deriving JP: 4]
Example: Eight Trigrams One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms [base JP: 8; Deriving JP: 6]

With the first example, the cost is reduced by 1, because Sixty-Four Palms only derives from Thirty-Two Palms, where One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms gains an additional point of reduction because it is derived from Sixty-Four Palms and Thirty-Two Palms. The balancing point here is that you don't normally get to buy them when you're a rank lower, but you receive a decent (not as good as evolving, but close) JP reduction, for purchasing the whole line of techniques.]

Hakke Sanjūni Shō | Eight Trigrams Thirty-Two Palms | 八卦三十二掌
Type: Taijutsu [Jūken | Hijutsu; Hyūga | Dōjutsu; Byakugan]
Rank: Genin
Cost: 35 Stamina; 35 Chakra

Description: The Eight Trigrams Palms are renowned the world over, as an extremely versatile derivative of the Jūken taijutsu. Being one of the Hyūga clan’s most powerful attacks, for many generations, the variants of this jutsu were only taught to members of the Main House to ensure that their secrets might never be stolen in some way. The power of these jutsu, is in the their ability to be combined with the Byakugan, and the Jūken style of taijutsu to surgically inject one’s own chakra into the tenketsu of an enemy, locking down that part of the body, and hindering movement, and the molding of chakra. The Thirty-Two Palms is the most basic form that these jutsu take, and it is often taught to children as they learn to master both Jūken and the Byakugan. With rapid speed, the user attacks thirty-two chakra points in their foe’s body, which hampers their ability to fight, and deals internal damage. Because it is easy to perform, and is rarely lethal, most Hyūga utilize this jutsu when sparring.

The user of this techniques loses all 'Trigram Charges' when this technique is performed. This technique has a 5% chance to fail. The user of this technique sacrifices their Setup and Main Phases when this technique is performed. This technique may be performed 2 times per battle.
Description: Hakkeshō Kaiten has been considered one of the rarest and most powerful defensive techniques of the Hyūga clan for generations. Like several other taijutsu techniques of the clan, Eight Trigrams Palms Revolving Heaven has been historically only taught to the Main House of the clan through a very secret oral tradition, making it one of the most well-guarded hijutsu within Konohagakure. Using the training of the Gentle Fist style of martial arts, the user of this technique expels chakra from every tenketsu in their body simultaneously. To increase the defensive properties of the released chakra, the user spins their body rapidly in a circle, creating a very strong cyclonic effect that prevents the emitted chakra from being breached by attacks. As most Hyūga possess the Byakugan, this technique is considered an absolute defense, protecting them in three hundred and sixty degrees, and guarding their one blind spot.

Description: First created by Hyūga Hinata as a means to defend herself after being nearly killed by her cousin, the Protecting Eight Trigrams Palms utilize similar patterns as their parent techniques to much different means. By channeling chakra into the palms of their hands, the user is able to move their arms and produce lingering arcs of chakra that can serve both offensive and defensive purposes. With the aid of the Byakugan and natural flexibility, the user creates broader arcs of chakra that form a lattice-work around their body and defend against incoming attacks. When used offensively, the user creates thinner, more blade-like arcs of chakra, and lashes out with them sixty-four times, damaging an area all around them.

Shōtei | Palm Bottom | 掌底
Type: Taijutsu [Jūken | Hijutsu; Hyūga]
Rank: Genin
Cost: 40 Stamina; 40 Chakra
Damage: 10
Effect: The target of this technique is afflicted with 1 turn of the status effect ‘Vulnerable’. Upon successfully striking the target with this technique, the user gains 1 additional ‘Trigram Charge’.
Description: One of the first techniques taught to young members of the Hyūga clan as they learn to master the Gentle Fist style of martial arts. The Palm Bottom is a precise thrust of the user’s palm heel into the midsection of their enemy. Unlike many of the more advanced Jūken arts, this jutsu does not require the Byakugan to be active, as the chakra the user injects into their foe’s body doesn’t pinpoint a single area. Instead, the user’s chakra stuns the target’s chakra pathway system, leaving them momentarily paralyzed.
Points: 4

Jūken; Tenketsushin | Gentle Fist; Pressure Point Needle | 柔拳・点穴針
Type: Taijutsu [Jūken | Hijutsu; Hyūga | Dōjutsu; Byakugan]
Rank: Chūnin
Cost: 50 Stamina; 50 Chakra; 1 Trigram Charge
Damage: 30
Effect: When performing this technique, the user must choose between the status effects ‘Quarantine; Ninjutsu’, ‘Quarantine; Genjutsu’, or ‘Quarantine; Taijutsu’. The target of this technique is afflicted with 3 turns of the chosen status effect. The user of this technique may elect to spend 1 additional ‘Trigram Charge’ when performing this technique to instead afflict the target with 3 turns worth of any combination of those status effects. (i.e; 2 turns of Quarantine; Ninjutsu and 1 turn of Quarantine; Taijutsu. Applied at the same time.)
Description: The Tenketsu Needle jutsu utilizes the Byakugan’s ability to see the inner workings of the body to target a single, specific point which will be the most hindering over the course of battle. This technique, while very old, has always been popular with the Hyūga clan. Jūken; Tenketsushin is, like most Gentle Fist attacks, performed by delivering a swift, finger jab to the targets body, and utilizing chakra to inflict internal damage. With skill, and practice a user can target individual regions of the body and tailor the effect to fit their opponent, shutting down their offensive capabilities and leaving them free from counter-attack.

• Hakke Kuboda | 八卦凹撃 | Eight Trigrams Concave Hammer

Type: Taijutsu [ Jūken | Hijutsu; Hyūga ]

Rank: Chūnin

Cost: 75 Stamina | 75 Chakra

Damage: 15

Effect: Target is Vulnerable, Exposed, and Stunned for one (1) turn.

Description: Hakke Kuboda is a technique that builds upon the basic Palm Bottom and serves as a bridge between less advanced Gentle Fist Maneuvers and their more advanced counterparts, such as Hakke Kūshō. The user will strike the center of their opponent’s chest with a deliberately concave palm. Though the initial damage dealt by this technique is minor, the shape of the user’s hand allows them to apply a great deal of chakra after they have made contact and then simply thrust the center of their palm forward, ensuring that they deal a considerable blow to the target without wasting chakra with a pre-emptive saturation of their strike.

The sudden surge of foreign chakra tends to leave its target disoriented and confused, incapable of discerning friend from foe.
