Clan Age: The specific or approximate dates that the Soradansu came into existence remains unknown. They existed before the establishment of Kumogakure no Sato. As their innate attributions surmises, their presence among the clouds and mountain peaks contribute to the name of the village. Some ancient religious texts suggest the Soradansu were witness to the clouds being formed and were formed from those clouds, but neither the clan nor scholars alike take that to heart.

Clan Status: The Soradansu are a well liked and public clan of Kumogakure. They are a being of wonder and are often used as front line soldiers due to their abilities. Due to their delusiveness, it's not uncommon to see a bank or safe deposit organization being run by a Soradansu. Some say once their possession are handed over, they aren't hidden on earth, but in the clouds above.

Clan History;

 

Some believe she was an angel who surrendered her wings to waltz across the stars and sleep amongst the clouds. Some say she was a dancer, so determined in her own right that she made her feet light enough to stand on the clouds and would dance across them all day long. Regardless of the creed, Klo was the mother of all of the Soradansu. Her personality was intuitive and generous, no weight of filth tied her down. Klo brought smiles to all who she met and took a general interest in them too. Indeed, when the idea for a unified shinobi village touched her ears, she brightened the idea of it.

 

As she settled in the village, she wed a man and bore children. All of them had inherited her physiological elegance, but not all their personalities meshed with hers. They were still human, after all- but with an altruistic mother, it wasn't a surprise when they mirrored her in some way, shape, or form. In fact, it took several generations to weed out any deviant behavior from her kits. Klo had long past, but her ideals moved on, only they were hammered in the forge of war. Kumogakure took full advantage of the power radiating from Klo's genes. Their bodies could produce condensed water droplets and change their molecules to make their body more transparent. Of course this allowed for supremacy over the harsh Kumogakure climates and excellent scouting skills- but the Soradansu are much more than that. Their bodies are capable of absorbing certain weather patterns and reflecting others. They are defenders, protectors and even nasty destroyers, like any cloud.

 

Then the dawn of a great idea appeared. A world united under one banner, one army and one economy. All the world would be equal and an actual shot at peace was wagered. The proposition's name was coded the Ninja Crime Investigations Agency. The idea was widely accepted within Kumogakure, but that isn't to say it didn't have its opposition. On the whole, the Raikage- Inabikari Raikou carried out this plan. Who better to support the idea were Klo's children? In her honor, bringing peace to the world. Though it was an idea drenched in fascism, there was hardly time to postulate this idea to all of the nation. They had to be taken care of, in one fell swoop. Several Soradansu gave their lives for this project, they led the front lines and helped the Cloud bring the storm. No civilians were to be harmed, and none directly were.

 

These people were not those who actively supported the works of Professor Lynx. His dastardly toyings with the Saiseki and Sokudo brought great anguish to the Soradansu. Of course, all the details were in hindsight and only very few family members in the science division actively knew the sin. Yet they didn't have enough influence to stop it, so instead, they served the Raikage more in attempts to prove these immoral dealings were obsolete. Naturally, with their steady resolve in the NCIA, they held close relations with the Matsugami and Niite that littered the command of the villages.

 

Yet, a few years in since the world take over, resistance terrorist cells began springing up. They housed very powerful threats to the stability over the world and unfortunately, the inner machine began to malfunction. Current clan leader Soradansu Neburu perceived that there would be unstable ground in the near future, so to play their part the Soradansu needed to adapt against the terrorists. To a Soradansu, the sky is limitless. Due to such creed, Neburu and his best scholars intimately analyzed themselves and broke down the two controlling elements from Klo's genetic womb; Cloud and Storm. They reassembled the product and because they delved down in the deepest recesses of their endowment, they were able to produce a dormant factor, which Nebburu termed Waveburst.

 

The wingless angles who swelled amongst the skies were now given their flaming scepters. This new contribution was used in squandering out the resistance movement within Otogakure. Though not the primary factor in their success, the concentrated energy did ease the process. Despite being flung across the continent, the main sect of the Soradansu was still and forever planned to be, housed in Kumogakure. They followed Raikou perilously, even to his grave.

 

The inconceivable had happened, Raikou had been killed. Whispers of certain propegators of the fall were rumored to be approaching Kumogakure. were they coming to attack? How could anyone rebel against a convieved plan for actual peace? The people believed these war mongers were on their way to destroy their homeland too. Was their lust not enough? An angry mob quickly swam around their airship as two of the murderers, but despite their close ties with supporting Raikou, the Soradansu couldn't quell their innate sense of gentleness. Klo would not raise her hand in opposition towards these guests who returned their king's corpse to them and neither would the Soradansu. They spread words of acceptance and though they held influence in the land, it was understandable when their words came crashing upon deaf dunes. The clan instantly took a liking towards the new Raikage, for he shared many qualities Klo was rumored to have.

 

Clan duties carried on as normal. Due to their correlation with scouting and hunting, they were led to work closely with those of the Fell clan and naturally grew an affiliation with them over time. They continue to hold close to the ideals the NCIA stood for, though the perception of the organization is so well distorted in the current world, the same ideals would seem completely alien in the context of the historical NCIA.

The Stratusform is the innate ability born into all the Soradansu passed down from the Sky Mother, Klo. When watered down to human perception, the Startusform looks like a cloudy armor surrounding a translucent person. In all actuality, the molecules in the atomic structure of the individual move around, break a few bonds and form new connections through the application of chakra. Part of their body assimilates like a cloud would condense and their body weight lessens severely. They may move quickly and take on the full advantages of dwelling amongst the clouds, mainly the watery inputs and electrical outputs. To an unsuspecting pedestrian a Soradansu may be mistaken for an apparition, merely fading off this plane of existence. It's also not uncommon for the Soradansu's body to change consistencies and color based off their emotions. When they're excited, their armor is clumped together, spacey. distant and cold affects resemble light and fleeing puffs. When a child is angry or upset, their body grows grey.

 

Upkeep

- 5% of the character's Total Chakra per turn.

- While this bloodline is active, all advanced regeneration skills are suspended.

 

Nacreous Glow

 

The first displayed characteristic of the Startusform is the cloudy body. As the shinobi becomes lighter, they are more agile and blow acorss the battlefield as a cloud would in the sky. Their efficiency at molding damaging chakra is greatly improved. This sector resembles the highest clouds in the sky, nearly astral beings that rain light down on the world. Incredibly thin, they glow brightly, as do their human manifestations. They are able to borrow from their own cumulus energies and augment their output of cloud, storm and specialized elements.

 

Rank Requirements

-Rank 1: May be taken at character creation.

-Rank 2: Gennin; level 25.

-Rank 3: Chuunin; level 40.

-Rank 4: Jounin; level 60.

 

Ability Type: Active. The minimum value of x will be 20.

Rank 1: While this bloodline is active, the user will ncrease their Ninjutsu (of Cloud, Storm and Waveburst elements) by x, whereas x is equal to their level. This may not exceed 1.5x the base of the stat. (-1)

Rank 2:] While this bloodline is active, the user will increase their Ninjutsu (of Cloud, Storm and Waveburst elements) by 2x, and their Evasion by x, whereas x is equal to their level. This may not exceed 1.5x the base of the stat. (-2)

Rank 3: While this bloodline is active, the user will increase their Ninjutsu (of Cloud, Storm and Waveburst elements) by 3x, and their Evasion by 2x, whereas x is equal to their level. This may not exceed 1.5x the base of the stat. (-2)

Rank 4: While this bloodline is active, the user will increase their Ninjutsu (of Cloud, Storm and Waveburst elements) by 4x, and their Evasion by 3x, whereas x is equal to their level. This may not exceed 1.5x the base of the stat. (-2)

Meteocycle

 

All of weather goes through a cyclic pattern. Clouds draw in evaporated water, condense the molecules and let them fall. Electricity that dwells within them clash with other clouds, producing thunder and lightning is perceived to fall from these skybound giants. This ability is displayed in the Soradansu, with their granted power to absorb water typed chakra and reflect electrical typed chakra. At this point, one can literally see the water and lightning flowing within the Soradansu's body.

 

Rank Requirements

-Rank 1: Gennin; level 20.

-Rank 2: Chuunin; level 30.

-Rank 3: Chuunin; level 40.

-Rank 4: Jounin; level 60.

 

Ability Type: Active. Water elements are considered to be 'Absorbed' and Lightning elements are considered to be 'Reflected'. 'Absorbed' doesn't mean there's any regeneration, only reduction. Element variants count up to third tier elements. This only applies to the specific element in question (So if Steam is absorbed at rank 1, only 5% base damage will be reduced) rounded down.

Rank 1: While this bloodline is activated, any water or water variant jutsu that hit the user will be reduced by 10% base damage. Additionally, any lightning or lighting variant jutsu that hit the user will be reflected as unmodified damage equal to 10% of the base damage. The user will still take full damage. (-2)

Rank 2: While this bloodline is activated, any water or water variant jutsu that hit the user will be reduced by 20% base damage. Additionally, any lightning or lighting variant jutsu that hit the user will be reflected as unmodified damage equal to 20% of the base damage. The user will still take full damage. (-2)

Rank 3: While this bloodline is activated, any water or water variant jutsu that hit the user will be reduced by 30% base damage. Additionally, any lightning or lighting variant jutsu that hit the user will be reflected as unmodified damage equal to 30% of the base damage. The user will still take full damage. (-2)

Rank 4: While this bloodline is activated, any water or water variant jutsu that hit the user will be reduced by 40% base damage. Additionally, any lightning or lighting variant jutsu that hit the user will be reflected as unmodified damage equal to 40% of the base damage. The user will still take full damage. (-2)

 

Tempest Waltz

 

The first host of these abilities was a great dancer. She was said to have danced among the clouds, gaining favor with wind and storms. It's no surprise that this past time trickled its way into her family heritage, who move with grace and form while diving deep into the crevices of their blood. While these abilities do not come from expelling chakra, they too are innate and have only recently been extrapolated. At the highest level of this dace, it's rumored that no weather will even touch a Soradansu without predetermined agreement due to their social contract with the sky.

 

Ability Type: Passive.

Rank 1: The user gains access to the skill Combinational; Storm as well as gaining the skill Subtle Elements; Wind. (-1)

Rank 2: The user gains access to the skill Waveburst. In addition, Waveburst techniques cost 10% less. (-2)

Rank 3: The user is immune to all climate effects. (-4)

Waveburst

Clan: Soradansu

Effect: For every storm charge the user currently has, all Waveburst techniques have a +5x% chance to inflict 'Stunned' on the target of the jutsu for one turn, where x is equal to the number of charges the user currently has. If the target has been effected by 'Stunned' on the previous turn, or the limit has been reached for 'Stunned', the target with be dealt 'Vulnerable' for one turn. If this, too, has reached its limit, the target will be dealt 'Confused' for one turn. The minimum of all these events is 5%. In addition, the user may choose to apply the bonus from one of the Subtle Element skills required to learn this skill.

Nimbo Iridescence

Clan: Soradansu

Description: The inner workings of the Stratusform have been harnessed and refined by the shinobi who wielded its powers over the generations. Like the silver linings tracing around clouds, this ace is the fine lining among the Soradansu. With the amount of chakra energy passed through their body, they're able to coagulate part of it and thicken it like a wall.

Effect: For every technique that the user 'absorbs' or 'reflects', the user gains one storm charge. Additionally, if the user uses a Waveburst technique, they gain one storm charge. No more than one charge may be gained in one turn. For every storm charge the user has, they gain +x to their defense, where x is equal to the user's level. If the user uses a lightning or lightning variant jutsu, with the exception of Waveburst, they will lose all their storm charges. Should the user have 5 storm charges and uses a Waveburst jutsu, they will take 15% of the total damage of the jutsu.

Skylit Aura

Clan: Soradansu

Description: Dusk and dawn are among the most beautiful cycles of the sky. A multitude of colors bleed through the atmosphere and inspire awe and sometimes fear. The sky becomes an uncertain beauty that one would normally doubt the heavens could become. As the embodiment of the sky, the Soradansu reflect these times of twilight in their chakra. Normal shinobi have a couple of static colors to their chakra, but a Soradansu who awakens this power will have their chakra color and eye color transform to one of the colors of the twilit sky. Their chakra is comprised of five layers, each granting a boon as it travels through their tenketsu. When a Soradansu fights in battle, it is not uncommon for the sky to mirror the hues within their eyes.

Effect: At the beginning of battle, the user will roll x die, where x is equal to the number of ranks the user has in this skill. If they roll the same number twice (or thrice), they will stack the effect of the corresponding number. The user's eyes will turn to the color(s) rolled.

The user receives +4% to critical hit.

Orange;

The user receives +5 to their block range.

3.

Rose;

The user will get an additional 4% to hit.

4.

Cream;

Chakra or stamina costs are reduced by 3% (Choose at the beginning of battle).

While under a Climate effect, the user gains 10% to their speed.

Servant of the Clouds

Clan: Soradansu

Description: The Soradansu have become so attuned to the fierce elements of the sky that they discovered a way to condense the atmosphere to make clouds whenever they use lighting. The cloud wisps that form follow the Sorandsu master and surround them, allowing them to get a leg up on dnacing away from their opponent. The cloud wisps also serve as a target enhancer that pinpoint the enemy for the Soradnsu.

Effect: Every time the user uses a lightning, storm or waveburst technique, they will generate one 'Cloud Wisp', which grants the user +20 Accuracy and +20 Evasion. For every rank in this skill, the number of 'Cloud Wisps increases by one. Every time the user dodges a technique aimed at them, one 'Cloud Whisp' is destroyed.

One complaint, and it's just a pet peeve of mine; I personally find it kind of stupid to legitimately use words that are just english with a japanese accent, such as "dansu", or "Kurado"(cloud), and so on. But, this doesn't really affect anything, so...
