Hardcore Skittlez Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 (edited) Samurai Kenjutsu | Samurai Sabre Technique Description: A trait unique to the samurai clans of the Land of Iron, Samurai Kenjutsu is a basic but evolved style of kenjutsu developed to allow the Samurai a continued level of competitiveness with the ever-growing shinobi world. This style of swordplay involves utilizing one’s chakra to encompass their sword in a sharp but flexible aura, allowing the user to extend their reach or even alter the shape of their strike. Though a very similar technique exists within the shinobi world, the Samurai have gained mastery over its simplicity and are able to use their chakra as though it were a literal extension of their body. Effect: This skill allows for the purchase of techniques with the [Hijutsu; Samurai Kenjutsu] descriptor. The skill-taker may now pay chakra to add additional base damage to their [samurai Kenjutsu] techniques and Weapon attacks at a ratio equal to the Ninjutsu cost:damage ratio for their current rank. This additional damage amount may never cause a technique or weapon strike to exceed 1.1+.2x times its base, where X is the number of ranks in this skill. Requirements: Path of the Warrior; Must be a character hailing from the Land of Iron or a member of a Samurai family/clan from the Land of Iron(Reflected in Character History). This may be taught to non-Iron characters, though they must travel to the Land of Iron and perform a 20 post training under a character who knows this skill.
