Prophet Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 (edited) Name: Acidic Venom Spray Clan: Kolytante Bloodline: Cleric Type: Ninjutsu/Taijutsu Rank: Gennin Cost: 75 Chakra & 30 Stamina Effect: Sickened for 3 turns Damage: 10 bleed for 3 turns Description: The members of the Kolytante Clan's venom is more acidic then the Main Kolyma Clan's. Through intense training and rigorous use of their tails, they have gained the ability to crack their tails like a whip, throwing a glob of acidic venom at their enemies. By channeling chakra into the venom they are able to heighten its potency and lethality. Use your accuracy modifier for this technique. This technique can only be used ONCE per battle at the Gennin level and once every 3 rounds at Chuunin+. Name: Fatal Fog Clan: Kolytante Bloodline: Cleric Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Gennin Cost: 100 Chakra Effect: Tired for 6 turns Damage: 20 initial, 10 per turn for next 3 turns Description: Using the toxic venoms produced by his own body the ninja uses chakra to convert the venoms into a gaseous state and force them out through the pores in his skin. This gas is a powerful and corrosive sedative that turns it's victims into easy prey. As the user only has a limited supply of this toxin in his system, he can only produce enough gas to cover a 6' radius around his body. This technique can only be used ONCE per battle at the Gennin level and once every 3 turns at Chuunin+. Use your Ninjutsu modifier for this technique. Name: Water Scorpion Clan: Kolytante Bloodline: Cleric Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Gennin Cost: 65 Chakra Effect: Distracted for 2 turns. Target is distracted for one turn on a successful dodge. Damage: 15 Description: A torrent of brackish water streams from your mouth, reeking of chemicals. The water then transforms into the shape of tiny scorpions that home in on your opponent and burrow into their skin, forcing the venom into their body. Even if the target manages to dodge them, the stench of the toxins is enough to make even the toughest shinobi gag. I had a little help from Gornok in getting the creative juices flowing but here they are in all their disgustingly painful glory! Please review and critique. EDIT: Removed hybrid status from FF and WS. EDIT: Fixed price for FF and added 5 damage to round it off. EDIT: Added tag to AVS EDIT: Adjusted rate of use for AVS and FF Edited April 21, 2006 by Prophet
Kouta Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 The last two are not nin/tai hybrids. There is nothing tai related about water scorpions or a cloud of poison.
Prophet Posted April 20, 2006 Author Posted April 20, 2006 (edited) As the venom is produced by my own body I figured a stamina cost would be in order as forcing the venom to come out of my body other then out the stinger would require at least a little exertion. Also for the Fatal Fog tech, I'm actually changing the molecular structure of the venom itself to suit my purposes. I'm not host to a 1001 different kinds of toxins...yet. That's a skill for later. For the water scorpions I am again forcing venoms out through an alternate opening and changing it again. Both are somewhat exhausting-sounding ordeals. After much debate I shall succumb to popular opinion and remove the Stamina/Taijutsu hybrid and make them purely Ninjutsu. Edited April 20, 2006 by Prophet
shizuki Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 Fatal Fog cost needs to go up. You have to pay 30 for the Tired, and 65 for the damage. Rest seem good to me.
Prophet Posted April 21, 2006 Author Posted April 21, 2006 Done. Please read and review. Approvals, as always, are more then welcome.
Nappers Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 Although its obvious perhaps you should state that effects dont stack. My meaning is that if you were to use the 1st tech successfully = 3 turns of sickness, then use it again, = 5 turns of sickness - see what I mean? Or that you cant perform the attack twice in a row.
shizuki Posted April 21, 2006 Posted April 21, 2006 I'd prefer that the first two could only be performed once apiece as gennin. And you walk a very dangerous line, double-posting. First and last warning.
Prophet Posted April 21, 2006 Author Posted April 21, 2006 Fair enough and I humbly apologize for the double-post. Wasn't thinking. Edited.
Prophet Posted April 21, 2006 Author Posted April 21, 2006 Thank you. Looking for one more approval now.
Prophet Posted April 24, 2006 Author Posted April 24, 2006 (edited) I apologize now for the double post as it was completely unintentional!!! That said, while I'm here I might as well add that the Clan has now been approved so for anyone who was holding back because of that....Consider these moves fair game for reviews! Thank you and please don't gag me! I'm really sorry for the double-post!!!! Edited April 24, 2006 by Prophet
