These are beautiful to look at and light up an area very well. They obey the user's commands, both spoken and not, and when not commanded they will behave as normal fireflies do. It's wireless, though. Yes, you can learn it... I'm not sure if you meant Chakra Cannon or Boundless Firefly (which is the awesomest jutsu ever).
Guest Marie Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 Isn't this guaranteed hit business too strong? From what I've read, that seems to guarantee several hundred points of damage at moderate strength in the ninjutsu stat.
Guest MrSako Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 The reasoning is as follows: Area Effect Jutsu cost 4:1, and is considered to automatically hit everyone. This is the same ratio, but only auto-hits one person. What do you think is more appropriate?

Guest Saphyrim Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 I'd say there should be a limit of some kind on automatic hit jutsus, seeing as if one were a stacker in the jutsu's type, then they'd be able to kick anyone's @$$ without utilizing much stamina/chakra. I noticed this from that battle that went on in Iwa. Shizuki's NPC constantly used that Gatling Punch, which never missed. The guy was a Taijutsu Stacker, thus doing over 500 damage with each one if I remember correctly, and the technique used only 30 Stamina. The same could be said about the Chakra Cannon technique, as using only 40 Chakra to do over who knows what amount of damage that could most likely result in an autokill. Which is definitely overpowered, so perhaps autohitting jutsu should only receive a portion of the modifier, like 1/2 or 1/4.

Arashi Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 Chakra cannon - I sees the way you thinks there with chakra cannon, but if you thinks about it, it can easily be abused. You will have to pay for every % this jutsu raises (30%), and then deletethe "ignoring acc/eva" part from it. I'm sorry, but a ninjutsu stacker would only need to put stats in ninjutsu and use this jutsu to always have 90% chance to hit and a very powerful hit for a very low cost.
