K Mitsuhide Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 (edited) These are obviously clan techs for a clan that is still in the making. Name: Shinku Ni-doru (Crimson Needle) Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Gennin, Shuurajou Clan Member Cost: 5 Health, 8 Chakra Damage: N/A Effects: Creates needles that can be thrown by the creator. They are treated as senbon needles. Three are created and may be used as ranged weapons. If the needles cause damage they are considered to have entered the bloodstream of the opponent for three turns. This jutsu may be performed during the setup phase if the needles are used during the main phase; if created in the main phase it must be used during the next main phase or the crimson needles will dissipate. Description: The user pushes their hands together, palms pressing against one another. They then use chakra to pull blood from their body to create needles similar in style to senbon needles. If the needles are thrown and cause damage to an opponent, they puncture through the skin and infiltrate the bloodstream of the opponent for use with later jutsu. They then stay in the bloodstream of the opponent until it dissipates. Points: 1 Name: Shinku Shuriken Rank 2 (Crimson Shuriken) Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Chuunin, Shuurajou Clan Member Cost: 10 Health, 30 Chakra (10 Health, 40 Chakra if used as a multi-attack jutsu) Damage: 50 (25 per shuriken if multi) Effects: Creates a large shuriken that may be thrown by the creator. It is then thrown at the opponent. If it causes damage it is treated as though six crimson needles (three each if multi-attack) have entered the bloodstream of the opponent. Two may be created at once for use as a multi-attack jutsu, damage divided in half between the two shuriken. Description: The user pushes their hands together, palms pressing against one another. They then use chakra to pull blood from their body to create a shuriken made of blood. The shuriken is then thrown and if it causes damage to an opponent, it punctures through the skin to infiltrate the bloodstream of the opponent for use with later jutsu. They then stay in the bloodstream of the opponent until it dissipates. Points: 2 Name: Shinku Sentan (Crimson Spearhead) Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Jounin, Shuurajou Clan Member Cost: 55 Chakra Damage: 80 Effects: Must have Crimson Whip activated. Once used, the Crimson Whip will dissipate. If the spear does damage to the target it is considered to enter their bloodstream for three turns. It is treated as though 12 crimson needles have entered the bloodstream of the opponent. Description: The user pulls back the whip and uses chakra to straighten it into a throwing spear. They then proceed to hurl it at their target. If the spear hits the opponent it punctures through the skin to infiltrate the bloodstream of the opponent for use with later jutsu. The blood then stays in the opponent's bloodstream until it dissipates. Points: 2 Edited August 25, 2011 by K Mitsuhide
Hardcore Skittlez Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 (edited) I believe we tried to shy away from HP costs for mundane jutsu such as these, though that may have been exclusively for the kaguya. You should clarify how many of the ranged weapons are made, and then calculate the cost as something like: [damage+cost to purchase the weapon on the main site]*1.5 per weapon generated. So, in the case of your first one, it would be: (2 damage+1)*1.5, which would equal out to 4 chakra per senbon generated. So, if you wanted to create 3 senbon, it'd equal 12 chakra or x chakra and y health, as long as x and y add up to equal 12. Also, you should provide links to other skills/techniques referenced in your jutsu. This makes it much easier on staff when they need to check skill/technique synergy to avoid any overpowered results. Edited August 1, 2010 by Hardcore Skittlez
K Mitsuhide Posted August 2, 2010 Author Posted August 2, 2010 Thank you for the input ^^ First, the clan isn't a regen clan like Kaguya, they have powerful hearts and plenty of blood to use. They are similar-ish to Kaguya in that they use their blood for techs. I'll be posting both clan and bloodline within the next two days. I used the equation on the first jutsu, and on several others I have in store but haven't posted yet. The second and third jutsu simply do a base amount of damage, while the first actually creates senbon needles as described on the main site. As for specification on the number of weapons made, the first one states: Effects: Creates needles that can be thrown by the creator. They are treated as senbon needles. Three are created and may be used as ranged weapons. If the needles cause damage they are considered to have entered the bloodstream of the opponent for three turns. This jutsu may be performed during the setup phase if used during the main phase; if created in the main phase it must be used during the next main phase or the blood will dissipate. The second one is one attack, which may be used as a multi-attack jutsu. Also, I haven't created the other jutsu to be used in combination with these but they will look something like 10x evasion reduction per crimson needle in the bloodstream, with upkeep, and the senbon do disintegrate after three turns anyways, so it puts something like a 2 turn maximum on the jutsu. I'm keeping away from OP as best I can.

Points: 1 Do you mean to say "This jutsu may be performed during the main phase if used created during the setup phase? I would also HIGHLY recommend making some sort of concrete time duration for bloodstream infiltration [e.g., 3 turns] because "killed off by the opponent's own white blood cells" is very vague. Depending on how it's RP'd, you could potentially have somebody pretend they have a hyper-active immune system. Edit: Turning it more so into a Status Effect. Edited August 2, 2010 by Rhap Sodos
K Mitsuhide Posted August 2, 2010 Author Posted August 2, 2010 For time spent in bloodstream, it is specified. Effects: Creates needles that can be thrown by the creator. Edited to make it more clear. The jutsu is used during the setup phase as if drawing a weapon. It can also be used during the main phase. Thanks ^^
cntrstrk14 Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 In the second one, why does it cost more to make it multi?
K Mitsuhide Posted November 28, 2010 Author Posted November 28, 2010 I did that because it raises the chance that blood will enter the opponent's own bloodstream. If it should have an equal cost then I will change it back, but it just seemed logical that it would cost slightly more.
K Mitsuhide Posted February 2, 2011 Author Posted February 2, 2011 Bump. Ready for constructive critisism and or approvals. Any changes necessary will come into effect. Thanks!
K Mitsuhide Posted February 7, 2011 Author Posted February 7, 2011 Bump Posted 26th of February, still not approved?
Azure Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 How many needles are created in the first one? Please specify.
inspiration Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 I think that Mitsuhide and myself agreed on 3 needles. I Kay be mistaken though.
K Mitsuhide Posted February 7, 2011 Author Posted February 7, 2011 It says three are created. When I get home i'll bold it
inspiration Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 He's right, blue. It states it in the second sentence.
Azure Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Skimmed it over right before class, so I just wanted to ask. Also, what will the needles entering the bloodstream actually do? As in, is there a hidden effect in some other skill/jutsu that is activated because of this? If so, please share it.
inspiration Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Have shuurajou blood within your opponents bloodstream allow for combo jutsu with things like trigger effects or damage over time. Many shuurajou skills will enter the blood. Allowing access to use higher level skills. Think of it almost like the combo system on rogues in WoW
