K Mitsuhide Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 (edited) Komodo Clan! Reptilian BloodClan Skill: Komodo [Required]Description: While Komodo clan members' blood is not quite as low by degree as truly cold-blooded species, they are still very vulnerable to the cold and avoid it at all costs.Effect: Weakness to Ice - take 120% damage from ice element techniques, and do not gain a defensive modifier when taking ice damage. When Ice damage is received, there is a 50% chance that the character will also be inflicted with the Cold status effect for one turn. In addition, any status effect inflicting any form of cold-based effect lasts one turn longer. Komodo dragon pets are also required to take this skill.Cost: +2 Cold (Hypothermia Stage 1): Your chance to hit is reduced by 5% (minimum of 15%) and you get -10% to Speed. Ninjutsu and Genjutsu that require hand seals have a +5% chance to fail. "Burn" or "Bleed" effects last one post longer. Does not stack with other Hypothermia Stages.Max Duration: 3DP: 50/turn Poor VisionClan Skill: Komodo [Required]Description: While their ability to maintain a high level of awareness of their surroundings with their tongues, if a Komodo clan member were to lose their ability to smell or use that tongue, they must do their best to use their eyes - despite their poor eyesight.Effect: If the clan member receives the status effect Impaired Smell then they are also afflicted with Impaired Eyesight. If anything covers the clan member's mouth that would hinder their ability to use their tongue, or if they lose/cannot use their tongue then they are also afflicted with Impaired Eyesight. Komodo dragon pets are also required to take this skill.Cost: +1 Impaired Eyesight: Accuracy dropped by 10%, any technique/skill/bloodline that specifically uses the eyes must pay twice the cost (stamina/chakra) to use it. If the said tech/skill/bloodline does not have a cost it cannot be used.Max Duration: 3 turnsDP: 15/turn They Love to Eat!Clan Skill: Komodo [Required]Description: Komodo Dragons have a fierce metabolism, especially whilst still young. Their trainer must provide food for their reptile, usually in the form of large rats. This continues on until the dragon is large enough to track down its own food. But in the meantime – he’s your problem…Effect: 25% of all money made for 15 levels is paid toward food for your Komodo Dragon. This is generally seen in RP, as the food will have no positive or negative effects otherwise. After 15 levels, the 25% is reduced to 10%.Cost: +1 Edited May 30, 2015 by K Mitsuhide
PandaMattMatt Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Most of these look fine, except the last one. I don't like hinderings that "go away" so to speak but leave the bonus sp behind. I'd say, you can get rid of the "until level 15" bit and make it a flat 25% the entire time your character has the skill, or change it to spend less money after level 15. Like 10% for the rest of your character's time.
Hardcore Skittlez Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Creating Summons - Once you finish creating a summon(s) and they are approved, you may never edit them again. This includes stats, skills, techniques, everything. - Summons are the individual creatures that are part of a Summon Family. The have a level that ranges from 0 to 4. Each level may be approved separately. - Each level has a different number of techniques it can have. The amount of jutsu points and the limitations of levels are listed in the table below. - Higher level summons are allowed weapons, these can range from claws and teeth to actual swords and daggers. However, please try and make sure that it is logical. - Summon weapons should have little to no effects on them and if they do it should balance itself. Staff discretion. - Summons may not have Hindering skills. - Summons may not take any "Path" skills aside Path of the Medic and Path of the Advance Medic without special staff permission (rarely given). - Summons may not learn Advanced Systems. - Summon may not have advanced regeneration skills (Chakra Flow, etc.) and may not have Second Wind or any similar skills. - Henge no Jutsu, Kawarimi no Jutsu and Bunshin no Jutsu are NOT free for summons. Each costs 1 jutsu point to learn. - Summons cannot learn clone techniques aside from Bunshin no Jutsu. - Post your summons in the "Summon Creation" forum found in the Creation Area. - Summons should be based on real life animals, admin approval is needed for other considerations.
K Mitsuhide Posted May 22, 2015 Author Posted May 22, 2015 - Summons may not have Hindering skills.Post your summons in the "Summon Creation" forum found in the Creation Area. These are not for pets or for summons, these skills are taken by members of the Ryushi-Komodo clan
K Mitsuhide Posted May 30, 2015 Author Posted May 30, 2015 I'm going to add one more bit to the first two hindering skills for Komodo clan pets.
PandaMattMatt Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 I don't see anything that says Pets cant take hindering skills and these are very specific. So I'm still ok with it.
