Hatake Hijutsu; Bōryaku | 畑秘術 • 謀略 | Hatake Hijutsu; Tactics

Type: Taijutsu [ Hijutsu; Hatake ]

Rank: Chūnin

Cost: 20 Stamina + 20 Chakra

Damage: --

Effect: This technique is used in the Setup Phase and may only be used after successfully dodging an attack via a natural die roll. Treat the next attack, of Chūnin rank or less, used on this turn as if it were a Dynamic Trap with its conditions met. When calculating the Dynamic Trap bonuses and reductions from subsequent uses, treat this technique as if it were the Dynamic Trap being witnessed. This may be used once per battle. After using this technique, the user may not utilize Setup Phase techniques for two (2) turns.

Description: Where the Hatake Clan has traditionally lacked a unifying technique or kekkei genkai, they have been known to remain competitive combatants through cleverness and strategy. Bōryaku is the Hatake principle of tactics wherein they may take advantage of an opponent's misstep and turn it into a punishing maneuver. These strategies often only work once, making the proper usage of them a telling sign of Hatake genius.

Requirements: Hatake Secret Technique; Premonition II

JP: 2

I don't really love this one. It's very lego-y, but that's not reason to deny it.

It needs a cool-down of some amount for the Setup Phase usage, 2 turns perhaps. Then the technique needs to state that its treated as the D. Trap for purposes of losing Accuracy on successive uses. Word that how you will.
