Rei Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 For some time now the NA staff no longer allows evolution justu, which are justu that improve depending on caster's rank You'd have to make four different justu if you want it to improve by ranking. Sand Type: Scorpion Kunai: Said scorpion would have to be real in other words summoned by the means of Kyousei or a pet. Stating that your characters bloodline allows him to have scorpions for few would be out of the question. Also, the scorpion would most likely die upon contact. Sand and Earth: Bed of thorns: Someone esle comment on this. The keep up cost for an army of scorpions should be great than four points per turn. Heck, the initial cost should be greater.
Kido Posted February 15, 2006 Author Posted February 15, 2006 (edited) The scorpions are not his pets, they are part of an army of scorpions which he commands through his bloodline. They are under his control due to his scent. Through the skill radical mutation, the character is completley attuned with the insect. A clan sheet and bloodline sheet is being created for this as we speak. The bed of thorns was supposed to be sand and cloud for its abilities to the user/character in the bloodline. Are the numbers correct now? Edited February 15, 2006 by Gornok
Rei Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 Geez enough with you spam. The rules state that you must wait at least an hour for you second post than three days for another. Hand of Sand: What makes this a clan justu? I've seen Gaara do the exact justu several times under a different bill. If successful, the target is incapacitated until they are released, +6 stamina to maintain. No. The most thisds shoul bdo is ensure for a set number of turns.

Where does it say that the jutsu was specified for my clan, it was just something I was working on. And if Gaara done something to that effect, is there a created jutsu on here with it so I could stop talking about it? Edited February 16, 2006 by Gornok
Rei Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 (edited) Where is this rule book that you stated?, There wouldn't be that many questions if posting rules were displayed someplace central. Due to the vast number of rules most on NA are comon. If you don't trust my word ask another fromer Mod or a current one. Where does it say that the jutsu was specified for my clan, it was just something I was working on. For a bloodline/clan I'm working on. Need help with the costs You clearly stated that these justu were for your clan/bloodline. Next time it would be a lot easier if you seporated clan justu and custom/general. And if Gaara done something to that effect, is there a created jutsu on here with it so I could stop talking about it? Look under the Wind village justu on the main site. Kido Posted February 16, 2006 Author Posted February 16, 2006 (edited) The only thing that the website had that was close was Desert Coffin, which is different since mine does not incur damage to the opponent and is a prelude to desert graveyard. Hand of Sand is created to simply hold the target still for either another attack which they will not be able to dodge and receive the effects of compounded damage, or buy the character time to recuperate and work out strategy. It is also use as a guard jutsu against nin and taij attacks. Shoot, I'll just make it bloodline req. Edited February 16, 2006 by Gornok
Rei Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 the target is incapacitated until they are released after 3 turns. Justu would deal the ensured or immobilized effect, I've stated this already. Incapacitation was originally billed as immobilized and toned to make fair for all players. Keep in mind reduces of how powerful you justu is it should never enable a character from attacking, using times, defending and dogging. Shoot, I'll just make it bloodline req. It is also use as a guard jutsu against nin and taij attacks Someone esle comment on this.
Kido Posted February 17, 2006 Author Posted February 17, 2006 ok, it is toned down to immobilize for 2/turns. Are adjustments required for the other jutsus so I could add them to my character?
Prophet Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Looks okay to me man, I'm no mod but you still get my Approval no jutsu for everything but those dances...Somebody wanna help him with those? I'm no good creating Taijutsu techniques but those don't look quite right to me...
shizuki Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 Why do the first 3 Kolyma Ginga use chakra? Scorpion Kunai: The bleeding effect has a seperate cost that needs to be added in. In this case, it's 24. Bed of Thorns: Maybe not a continual drain, but perhaps a static lowering for the duration of the tech.
Kido Posted February 27, 2006 Author Posted February 27, 2006 It was something I read to add additional damage, since gennin are 1:1, I believe it said that added chakra gives additional damage to the tech... I could be wrong and definitely willing to take it out if not so. So is it 24 points taken out of nin to add onto the 30 already taken? Would the static reduction also be 1:1 as well? because spending 18 points in three turns for the opponent to eventually get back their stat doesn't sound right.
shizuki Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 Well yeah, you can use it to increase damage, but you still have it follow the 1:1. The total cost for scorpion kunai would be 54 chakra. If you make bed of thorns a genjutsu, you can use the 2:3 ratio.
Kido Posted February 27, 2006 Author Posted February 27, 2006 That makes my decision simpler then. I'm taking off the bleed. I'll have to make the adjustments to the bed of thorns for genjutsu. Anything wrong with the other techs so I could make adjustments?
shizuki Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 Well, just that you don't have to use a 1:1 when you're combining two pool stats, as with the Kolyma Ginga.
Kido Posted February 27, 2006 Author Posted February 27, 2006 Okay, I've adjusted the numbers for the dances, taking the user's stats into account. Also changed the B of T to genjitsu.
Arashi Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 First of all, where do all the scorpions come from? Didn't your bloodline only give you some scorpion parts, like a tail ect? Scorpion kunai - Do it just count as a ninjutsu or does it make weapons? And I think that weapon techniques are clasified as taijutsu. Bed of thorns - Genjutsu can't do normal damage. And it doesn't follows the 2:3 ratio for genjutsu (remember that you are lowering 2 stats) Hand of sand - the range is not an effect. And immobilized is 50/turn, so it would cost 100 for 2 turns. Diamond spear - It's just the same as scorpion kunais, with the same effect. Cleric dances - The two first ones seems fine. Maybe a little uncommon to justraise it 5 damage per jutsu, but no problem with me. In the third, the effect doesn't make much sence. Ginga four - Could you explain the effect? I can't understand it...
Kido Posted March 1, 2006 Author Posted March 1, 2006 That is all part of the clan history, bloodline, character...picture on character thread in Suna; 4 arms, a scorpion tail. SK - been adjusted as per notes BT - been adjusted HS - changed to ensnared and cost changed DS - changed as with SK The third ginga is that he is throwing smaller versions of the SK, they only damage @ 8/kunai. He is firing them at an accelerated rate, with all four arms, at the target. He is rolling to see how many will hit him. working on the wording for # 4
shizuki Posted March 1, 2006 Posted March 1, 2006 What I mean about the 'don't have to follow normal 1:1' is this: You can do a little more damage than what you pay for, if you use 2 tank stats.
