Days had passed since Takeshi last saw land. All that remained of him was the will to live as he brushed his way up onto that fateful beach. His battle days ago on Gobi Isle separated him from his team, who in all likeliness passed during their clash with the five tailed demon. Having been cast into the ocean may have seemed like a death sentence, but fate had other plans. As Takeshi pulled the weight of his water drenched body through the crystal sanded beach he would make note of a tree line ahead. Further inspection yielded a vast tropical garden, filled with exotic fruits and animals. Takeshi knew he needed to relax, and spent days harvesting resources and burning the local trees for fire. Unfortunately for Takeshi this was no ordinary garden. After days of recovering to his full health Takeshi would be greeted by a furious guest. One Junsei Hanamojo. Unbeknownst to the young Hyuuga, this land was operated by the expert botanist clan. With evidence thrown around of his savage harvesting it was only a matter of time before Junsei lost his cool. Then again it may be the fact a Konoha shinobi “snuck” into Suna. Grab the organic corn everyone, this is going to be a treat.

"WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!?"

 

Junsei was so mad his face was turning red with anger. A portion of the crops he and his clan had been tending had been reduced to ash while there had been evidence of early harvesting from the vegetation. At first, the thought was that a small had been started due to natural causes and a swarm of pests had eaten the fruit. The second theory wasn't entirely wrong.

 

Junsei, as he was investigating came upon one Hyuuga Takeshi. A Konoha shinobi who had destroyed his product. It couldn't be anything other than a savage attempt at destabilizing the food sources of Sunagakure but the wretched Konoha forces. Takeshi was an intrude not only to his country, but his garden as well. This was unforgivable and a deep anger came over Junsei. It was more than the red faced screaming anger he had just felt.

 

This was deeper, more profound. It burned so hot within him that he became chilled. There was nothing ok with this situation. Junsei would not allow this Konoha infiltrator to escape with his life.

Description: A simple chainmail shirt used by thousands of shinobi the world over. While the idea has remained the same, the style changes depending on where you are in the world. This particular variant is from the Chuunin Exams when they were hosted by Kumogakure no Sato. Instead of standard rings, this chainmail is actually thousands of tiny lightning bolts linking together. A subtle, but impressive touch.

Sunagakure Chuunin Medical Vest

 

An over-vest worn by medical shinobi of Chuunin Rank. It has a high collar rather than extended shoulder. On each side of the collar, there is a small red cross that signifies the wearer as a medic. On the front of the vest are several compartments which allows quick and easy access to necessary medical supplies. The Sunagakure village symbol is stitched into the area just above where the wearer's heart would be when wearing the jacket.

Description: A matching piece in a set of medically enhanced laurels created by the Hanamajo Clan. This anklet was designed to be worn by either gender, and fits comfortably around the ankle. While being worn, the medical chakra in the laurels enhances the rate which muscles are able to expand and contract, allowing the wearer to move faster and more efficiently.

Takeshi had been napping when a large shrike from behind had jolted him awake. "Who the." he couldn't help but mutter as he rose to his feet to see what the commotion was about. It was the first sign of human life he had encountered since landing on the shores, and while normally he would have been happy so he could get a sense of direction, that wasn't the case as he quickly caught a glimpse of Sunagakure's emblem. "Nooo, my luck couldn't be that bad, could it?" he asked himself rhetorically as the man was clearly a shinobi standing before him. Of all the places he had to wash up ashore, it had to be in a nation that had hated the leaf so much so. Junsei's anger had shown itself all over his face, making Takeshi a little nervous, but the Hyuuga knew he would have to stop him before he could strike him down or call for reinforcements. "Why'd I have to land here? I suppose you can't just forget you saw me could you?"

"You want me to just forget that I found you attempting to sabotage Suna's resources?! Sneaking into our country and then taking food from the mouths of children. I used to want to find peace between our nations, but you're all just fucking monsters!" Junsei was livid. He couldn't believe that someone would do such a thing, but it made sense that Konoha would be the ones to do it. 

 

The Suna medic's hands came together to form a series of seals. The clones appeared from a burst of white chakra smoke as most did. However, each clone bore the resemblance of Junsei's rage. There was no chance that Junsei would allow this grievous offense to go unpunished. It was up to him to capture the Konoha ninja. Alive was preferable, but the eyes of a dead Hyuuga were just as valuable.

This medical chakra activates upon the destruction of the clone in the form of a whirlwind of flower petals that gently blow over the user of the technique, healing minor wounds.

It takes a great amount of time to study Medical Jutsu, as the type of chakra used is quite different from that used to mold into Elemental Jutsu. To heal is considerably more difficult than it is to destroy. Those who go down this path sacrifice one type of strength in order to build up another.

Effect: Character no longer applies Ninjutsu modifier when using Ninjutsu techniques. Character now applies 50% of their Ninjutsu modifier to Medical Ninjutsu.

Anatomical Intelligence

- The skill "First Aid Provider" may be taken for free. The player may also take the skills "Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)" and "Field Medic".

RP Guide:

- A character that follows the Path of the Medic likely understands the fragility of life, and seeks to preserve it. Though not all medic-nin are caring, it is very likely that a shinobi who has begun to follow the path of medical ninjutsu is and does care for others immensely. This is a path for the devoted healer.

Effect: The player may take the skill "Field Surgeon". Medical Jutsu now use 100% of the user's Ninjutsu modifier.

Anatomical Mastery

- Shield Creation: Whenever a Medical Jutsu heals a character, that character gains a shield that absorbs an amount of damage equal to 25% (rounded down) of the amount healed. The shield lasts until depleted or the end of that player's next turn.

RP Guide:

- A character that follows the path of the Medical ninja likely understands the fragility of life, and seeks to preserve it. Though not all medi-nin are caring, it is very likely that a shinobi who has begun to follow the path of medical ninjutsu is and does care for others immensely. "Monsters? Sabatoge?" It had seemed as though the situation had truely escalated out of hand, for the boy didn't even realize he was in Sunagakure until ventured upon. He just wanted to regain his strength before attempting to make his way home, but it seems that he would have to fight another battle before doing so. "So be it. If I must force my way through I shall."  The veins around his eyes began to buldgen as the Byakugan activated, and the boy prepared himself for combat. Staring fiercely at his new foe he reaffirmed his resolve  "Shall we begin?"

Effect: While the Byakugan is active, a character with this skill’s Accuracy, and Evasion are increased by 1.5x per rank in this skill, with ‘x’ being equivalent to the wielder’s level. The value of ‘x’ may never be less than 'y', where 'y' is equivalent to 20 + 10 for each rank of this skill, beyond the first. All statistical bonuses provided by this skill may not exceed 1.5x the base value of the individual statistics. Description: The Byakugan's 360 degree circle of penetrating vision grants those blessed with the bloodline a heightened sense of the world, and with it they are able to perform feets of amazing accuracy and agility. This power grows with the wielder though, and through training and experience, the vision of the Byakugan soon becomes so acute as to allow the wielder to see impossibly far and with astounding visual clarity.

The clones of Junsei began moving swiftly, each one crafting a different series of seals. The first one began to glow a bright, emerald green as a pulse of chakra went through it's body and into the ground. Flowers and vegetation of all sorts began sprouting from the already lush ground.

 

The second clone, closest to the real Junsei laid a glowing hand on the creator's back. A faintly glowing array of vines and flowers snaked along Junsei's skin and wrapped around his head. When it had completely encircled his head, it stopped glowing and faded to a solid black. The Blossom Crown Seal was now ready for Junsei's use. 

 

Finally, sand began to rise from the ground, laid between the greenery, as the third clone finished it's seals. It rose and formed around the real Junsei creating a second skin of sand. Sunagakure's Armor of Sand jutsu. It was the famous first line of defense for many Sand Shinobi.

 

With the final layer of setup applied to Junsei's arsenal, the clones stepped back. It was time for Junsei to take on the intruder.

Description: A technique that shows a small glimpse at the natural connection between nature and the Hanamajo. As the chakra enters the ground, it encourages dormant seeds to sprout and grow rapidly. Covering the entire area with thick, beautiful flowers in the blink of an eye.

-Induced Regeneration is not immediately applied. Instead, a seal appears on the target. As a Free Action in any phase, after this technique is used, the target may activate the seal and apply the effects of this technique. Only one seal with this effect may be applied to a character at a time. This seal lasts until activation or the end of battle, whichever comes first.
-This technique may only be used 2 times per battle.
Description: With a complicated string of seals, the Hanamajo presses their fingers to the target's forehead. A glowing seal appears circling the head in the shape of a crown of flowers. Until it is absolutely necessary, the glowing seal remains dormant, however upon activation, a shower of healing chakra and flower petals rain down over the target, healing their injuries with time released medical chakra.

Description: The secret armor of the wind people. This armor is weaker than the shield or sphere of sand, but comes at the use of heightened maneuverability. The user may attack while the armor is on still, and can activate it faster than one could blink if in danger.

Junsei had been fortified. He could feel the natural vibrancy of the foliage around him and it made him more sure. Surrounded by his own nature, in more ways than one, it allowed him to step confidently, quickly. It would also put a hindrance to his opponent and that helped too. He wove together his hands, as quickly as he could. He had memorized the handseals for this technique, time and time again so it came to him as if it were second nature. The illusion would make the Hyuuga think the plants and roots around him were suddenly tangling his feet. By tricking his mind, Takeshi would do his own harm and slow himself. That's when Junsei could strike. If there's anything Junsei had learned from fighting various Konoha shinobi in his lifetime, namely Uchiha Saki, it was that speed controlled the battle. 

 

So Junsei would control the speed and thereby control the battle. This was entirely his turf, Takeshi stood no chance. Even as his eyes constricted with the activation of the Byakugan, Junsei knew that the Hyuuga had little hope of escaping interrogation and eventual extraction of his eyes.

Effect: For every rank in this skill, status effects the user inflicts with Genjutsu on opponents have a chance to last one post longer based on the opponent's dodge roll. This will not allow you to break the maximum post duration of any status effect.
Rank 2: On a dodge roll of a 1-40, status effects last one turn longer.

 

Elemental Archetype

Description: Traditionally, elements are comprised solely of Yang energy, while illusions are fulled by Yin energy. With a degree of mastery, one can mimic the formation of Yang energy like the Sage of the Six Fold Paths once did and bring their dreams to reality. Shinobi are trained to use unstable forms of chakra in this creation, leading their attacks to be more damaging.
Effect: Users that focus on this archetype will gain the ability to use the Subtle Element and Combinatorial Element skills with Genjutsu techniques, replacing any physical damage bonuses with ghost damage. In addition, the user will receive +5% to their base ghost damage when they use elemental Genjutsu. The player still needs to have the Subtle Element and Combinatorial skills to use corresponding Genjutsu of that element.

Description: Maybe you have spent countless hours of meditation and practice have crafted your mind and body into a temple of self discipline. Or maybe you're just naturally good at it. Either way, your chakra circulatory system is of superb quality.
Rank 2: Gain 15% of your Total Chakra every turn. This replaces normal Chakra regeneration. Does not stack with previous ranks.
Requirements: User may not have any other skill (or bloodline skill) that effects Health, Stamina, or Chakra Regeneration. This skill may not be taught.

 

Mastery Of Nature's Duality; Malevolence

Clan: Hanamajo
Effect: "Poison" applied through the "Combinatorial; Plant" skill is increased by 15x. X is equal to this character's ninja rank as follows; Gennin: 1, Chuunin: 2, Jounin: 3 and Sennin: 4. If a technique would have multiple strikes that activates "Combinatorial; Plant", this bonus is split evenly between all strikes.
Description: Those who have mastered the Plant element know of it's ability to poison foes or even heal allies. However, the Hanamajo inherently command the element to such a degree, that nature itself lends aid to these shinobi and increases the potency of their techniques.

Flower Walker

Clan: Hanamajo
Description: The Hanamajo have been raised around sand and flowers since they have existed. It is no wonder that they are able to step swiftly through any field of flowers without fault and without damaging the beautiful petals nearby.
Effect:  User is immune to the effects of the terrain "Wildflowers" and gain +10% speed in that terrain.

Takeshi watched on as the clones had begun going about their task, though as of now they were still presented no worries to the young Hyuuga though he wanted to take care of them sooner than later just in case. The originator on the other was already beginning to prove problematic as Takeshi soon found himself being bound by a number of roots and vines, signifying that he had allowed himself to be caught off guard by some genjutsu. "This is going to be a pain." he couldn't help but mutter out loud as he attempted to move. The mental attack was proving to be an annoyance but as long as he could still move, he could fight. Still, he knew he would have to take measures towards keeping such a thing from happening again otherwise he truly was in trouble.

All statistical bonuses provided by this skill may not exceed 1.5x the base value of the individual statistics. Description: The Byakugan's 360 degree circle of penetrating vision grants those blessed with the bloodline a heightened sense of the world, and with it they are able to perform feets of amazing accuracy and agility. In it's initial stage, the Byakugan's vision is at its weakest, but still provides much more clarity than the average person's sight. This power grows with the wielder though, and through training and experience, the vision of the Byakugan soon becomes so acute as to allow the wielder to see impossibly far and with astounding visual clarity.

Description: The ability to see chakra in its various forms is a rare gift. When the Byakugan is active, genjutsu are much less effective against the wielder. With their immaculate vision, the invisible threads of chakra that would infect the brain become visible, and lose much of their potency against those who bear the bloodline. This ability is one of the most difficult for a Hyūga to master, but as they progress, the ability to detect the subtle variations in chakra allow them to greatly reduce the effects of Genjutsu around them.

The Hyuuga's movements seemed slowed and restrained. The illusion was in place, which gave Junsei an opportunity to follow up with his strongest offense. His seals were throw together over and over, each time, Takeshi would find himself suddenly covered in up to three bunches of dwarf mistletoe. Each one violently exploding, sending a gaseous cloud of spores released into the air.

 

If they had been real at least. The illusion was one of powerful mental trauma, but its effect on the real world was non-existent. Either way, Junsei let loose everything he had on the Konoha intruder.
