Legendary Slug Summons

Link to 'old' Slug Summons. The major changes include: Slug Jutsu used in the Response Phase do not allow Slug to attack in the Main Phase. I introduced this to balance the Summon after playtesting. I also added Genjutsu ability to the Level 5/6 Summons to be able to heal 'Ghost Health.'

Description: A small sea slug. Summoning this creature is usually considered a 'failure' for the summoner. These sea slugs come in many colored variations, depending on which ocean the sea slug has come from.

Level 1

Bijuu, Seejuu, and Juujuu

Description: Bijuu is perhaps the most annoying of the slug lineage. She cannot seem to stop talking once she is summoned, and it can get annoying because she has a very high-pitched voice. She is more naive than anything else, and is frequently the butt end of jokes from Gamakichi, whom she frequently plays with. Seejuu, the second of the slug triplets, is the quiet one. She does not speak at all, but prefers to show her emotions by her actions. Juujuu is the melancholic one, always seeming to complain, and always having to defecate or urinate at the most inoportune moment.

Description: This slug is about the size of a large dog, and it is quite frisky... with her eyes. Otherwise she is quite immobile, making her more of a liability than something of use in battle, though she does try her best. She has a tendency to wink if looked at for a prolonged period of time.

The Path of the Medical Ninja

Description: The road to becoming a Medical Shinobi is a long and difficult process. It takes a great amount of time to study Medical Jutsu, as the type of chakra used is quite different from that used to mold into Elemental Jutsu. To heal is considerably more difficult than it is to destroy. Those who go down this path sacrifice one type of strength in order to build up another.

Effect: Character no longer applies Ninjutsu modifier when using Elemental Ninjutsu techniques (excluding Clan Techniques). Character now applies 50% of the Ninjutsu modifier to Medical Ninjutsu. (-1)

Effect: Halts the effect of bleeding, minor poisons, and other debilitating qualities.

Description: A sweet smelling, lightly colored fluid coats the ninja's hands and is applied to the troubled area. This technique will take care of any light maladies from minor infection to bleeding to poisons.

Namekuji

Description: A moderately-sized slug about the size of a small child. This one does not speak and seems to be quite lethargic, although it is surprisingly spry and able to carry a Ninja on its back if needed. It has a sense of protect and heal its master, though it can take the offensive if required.

The Path of the Advanced Medical Ninja

Effect: Medical Jutsu now use 100% of Ninjutsu Modifier. Character no longer applies Ninjutsu modifier when using Elemental Ninjutsu techniques (excluding Clan Techniques).

Description: After years of training in the art of medicine, the Medical Ninja has an easier time diagnosing and treating their patients. They also have more time to develop their abilities in Ninjutsu. (-2 total)

- If they roll higher than 25, then they skip their next response and main phase. - May only target the same opponent with this technique after 4 turns since they were last effected by it.

- May only be used once a battle per enemy by Gennin, two times by Chuunin and three times by Jounin.

- If target is of two ranks or higher than the user, they are unaffected by this technique.

Description: Used to cause ones opponent to lose the advantage of movement. Freezing them in their tracks, this Jutsu creates an opening for a more dangerous attack. Most Anbu Ninjas seem to know this technique.

Youshi

Description: This slug makes its homes in various volcanoes, spending a lot of time with the fire frogs. She has a more lively personality, although she does not verbally communicate. She is the color of molten lava, mostly red with some black spots scattered throughout. She is usually warm to the touch, although the touch is more comforting than anything else.

Apply all armors against this attack regardless of if it is supposed to bypass armor or not. When you take the hit, you gain a +100 to the relevent defence stat. Cannot be used against Genjutsu. (-1)

Intermediate Medic

Effect: May use medical jutsu up to 5 points. Damaging Jutsu do 90% damage (from Initiate Medic) (-4 total)

Effect: Deals +50% damage to Summons, -50% damage to non-Summons. Summons have 50% Evasion to this attack

Description: The slug takes in a deep breath and brings forth all the acid in their abdominal contents to their mouth, and then sends out a large spray, using their chakra to propel it at high speed. As it comes out in huge globs, it is easier for a smaller individual to avoid it than a larger creature.

Level 5

Umiushi

Description: Umiushi is another of the slug lineage, second to Katsuyu in terms of power, although he is as mild and gentle as his mother. He is a soft-purple slug, with a scar down the side of his body, a wound suffered from an ill-wrought battle with Manda, to whom he has an absolute hatred of. He is in a sense more difficult to work with than his mother, as he is still 'young' in terms of slug years, but he is an invaluable ally in battle.

- Cannot be dodged. Opponent rolls 1d100.

- If they roll higher than 25, then they skip their next response and main phase. - May only target the same opponent with this technique after 4 turns since they were last effected by it.

- May only be used once a battle per enemy by Gennin, two times by Chuunin and three times by Jounin.

- If target is of two ranks or higher than the user, they are unaffected by this technique.

Description: Used to cause ones opponent to lose the advantage of movement. Freezing them in their tracks, this Jutsu creates an opening for a more dangerous attack. Most Anbu Ninjas seem to know this technique.

Description: The slug takes in a deep breath and brings forth all the acid in their abdominal contents to their mouth, and then sends out a large spray, using their chakra to propel it at high speed. As it comes out in huge globs, it is easier for a smaller individual to avoid it than a larger creature.

Katsuyu

Description: The oldest and most powerful of all the slugs. She is known best for being able to split apart and to create miniature clones of herself, as well as being able to reassemble at a moment's notice. She can also spit acid that can melt through rock. She is most widely known for her adventures with Tsunade, the 5th Hokage of Konoha. She was once teamed with Gamabunta and Manda, who at the time were led by Jiraiya and Orochimaru, who later betrayed Konoha. Although not noted to be that powerful in combat, she is best known for her healing Jutsus, and taking care of her master. She is mildly tempered and goes to great lengths to preserve life.

Effect: A counter method to moves such as 64-points. So it restores use of chakra if it is sealed. This technique can not be performed on ones self, but may be used on others during the setup phase. (-1)

Savior

Effect: Once per team battle you may choose to take an attack in place of your ally without need for any rolls. Apply all armors against this attack regardless of if it is supposed to bypass armor or not. When you take the hit, you gain a +100 to the relevent defence stat. Cannot be used against Genjutsu. (-1)

Doctor

Effect: May use all medical jutsu. Damaging Jutsu do 90% damage (from Initiate Medic) (-6 total)

The Path of the Advanced Medical Ninja

Effect: Medical Jutsu now use 100% of Ninjutsu Modifier. Character no longer applies Ninjutsu modifier when using Elemental Ninjutsu techniques (excluding Clan Techniques).

Description: After years of training in the art of medicine, the Medical Ninja has an easier time diagnosing and treating their patients. They also have more time to develop their abilities in Ninjutsu. (-2 total)

If Summoner also dodgs, Summoner may not attack in their next main phase. This Jutsu may be used even if opposing Jutsu states that Jutsu may not be used in the Response Phase. Usable 4 times per battle. May not attack in the Main Phase.

Description: When worse comes to worst and Katsuyu is in a bind, she breaks apart into a multitude of smaller slugs and reforms herself, effectively avoiding a potentially life-threatening blow.

Description: Katsuyu is able to create clones of herself by 'popping' them off of her body. These come in handy to cart off injured shinobi.

Lvl 0-1: Good. I realy like the +stats for combination of different summons.

Lvl2: You have only used 15JP. One JP maybe doesn't looks like much, but it's enough for techs like Kawarimi and similar, which can be very good for your summons as they have a very low def/res.

Lvl3-5: Good.

Lvl6: I think you mean 2,000 Stamina, otherwise you are 1800 stats short. Also I count 130 JP, but I could be wrong (just so many techs!)

Thanks for the input. I'm OK with just 15jp for the lvl 2...

Katsuyu's stats are ok, I have 1800 in Con.

I didn't notice I had 130 JP :D Down to 120 [deleted a 10jp Jutsu]
