Kaitaiseichuu [Conception of Control]

Clan Village: Iwagakure No Sato

Clan Starter: Unknown

Clan Head: Kaitaiseichuu Aleron

Clan Age and Status: The Kaitaiseichuu are an old and respected clan hidden within the mountains of Iwagakure. It is said that within these hidden peaks, fantastic rituals and strange experimentation is done to develop greater puppet constructs and the ninjutsu arts that govern their use. It is uncertain whether the people of Iwa praise or despise this clan, seeing as they rarely interact with the public. The rather simple emblem of the clan is imprinted upon every creation, and this is usually the only thing that outsiders witness. An actual Kaitaiseichuu to be visibly seen is an extraordinary feat, as they do not require the need to venture into the village for things other than basic resources and occasional trade of their more basic models. Nonetheless, the 'Right Symbol' has remained a distinct reminder to the public of the useful creations that these people offer, and is rarely seen as an agitating force. In fact, the Kaitaiseichuu take pride in being a neutral force even in times of conflict, opting to forgo direct intervention instead filling the role of arms supplyment.

Bloodline: Kouin No Marienetto [Scion of Marionette]

Clan Element: Void/Puppets (No Element is Harbored by this Clan)

Clan Emblem: [The Right Symbol]

Clan Info: It is said that the wisdom of creation is imparted to every generation through a strange, esoteric ritual in which involves the inscription of the codes that is the language of these people within the blood of each first born. Careful Chakra manipulation and excruciating detail allow for the awakening of innate knowledge within the infant at a later point in the child's life, offering the unique ability to fully understand the practicality and function of puppets, as well as the potential uses of them. This in turn has birthed an age of puppeteer experts. This is essentially the edge that the Kaitaiseichuu have above all other puppeteers. The natural ability to 'see' creations as they develop offer an incredible talent that is beyond the reach of other humans. It is said that these people live within the cliffs and the peaks of Iwagakure, preferring the monastic life style as opposed to the routine dominated one that is often times seen within the Hidden Villages. Within this place, they may operate at full steam, so to speak, and may push their ideas to the limits without interference. Without the hustle that typical crowded life presents, they work until they eat or sleep, and then return to their business once more. It is also said that the donations of puppets to the stores are out of charity, as they only ask for food and water in return. It is a system of bartering that has been going on for generations, and despite times of unrest and conflict. Although most puppets are traded to help with farming, manual labor, and other chores, a rare few are customized for battle.

Little else is known about this Clan, as they tend to avoid civilization, unless in rare cases, and since their documents are imprinted within the blood of the members, and not in word or document.

Path of the Puppeteer

Description: Some Shinobi-nin love the feeling of manipulation, the sensation as those strings pull through the air and the masterful weapon of death they have slaved over slices through their enemy like a hot knife through butter. The sensation and skill exhibited by the master puppeteer drives them to become more focused in their practice, to a point in which they trulely become one with their weapon, much more so than any other weapon user.

Effect: All purchases and word counts put towards creating puppets or puppet materials are reduced by 80%, rounded up. Choose one of the below abilities.

  • Manipulation Mastery: Choose One
Manipulation of Energy: The cost to use medium weapons used by the player's puppets are now all considered to be 1:2 cost:level ratio until Sennin level, where they become 1:3. Large weapons are considered to be a 2:3 ratio until Sennin level, in which they become 1:2.
Manipulation of Space: All 'Enhancement Parts' and 'Weapons' for puppets take up half the amount of part slots they usually do while owned by the user, rounded up. A player without this skill cannot use a puppet whose parts and/or weapons exceed the part slots of the puppet due to this skill.
Manipulation of Material: A puppet is considered to have 1.5x their durability when being used by a player with this skill.

RP Guide:

- A character that follows the path of the puppeteer is an artist at heart. Wishing nothing more then to show off their creativity to the world, puppeteers will build constructs in the image of various animals, or even humanoids if they feel the need. They're very well versed in new age technology, and know just how to make things tick the right way They tend to enjoy control a little bit more then most, and have a tendency to 'become' their weapon, allowing their attacks to flow with the grace of a dancer.

Restriction:

-Chuunin. Must have Path of the Warrior (Weapon Specialization) or Path of the Hunter.
