So far, the game-show that he had been… ‘volunteered’ for was at least entertaining. Between various shows of knowledge, social finesse, and finally drinking- Saki would have even go so far as to say that he was having a good time all around. One by one, he had knocked out his completing bachelors, though he had been taken perhaps a bit more by the desire to ‘win’ than any actual eye on the prize. That is… not that there was much of a prize for him to win. After all, Uchiha Saki was the prize, right?

 

As the show would edge toward its conclusion, Saki found himself in an arena- facing down the daring beauty that had summoned him to this silly ordeal in the first place. He shook his head slowly, lifting a languid hand to stroke at his furrowing brow.

 

You know, if you wanted to see me flex- all you had to do was ask, right?[/font]” he teased his host with an impish little smile, “... but I guess since you’ve gone through all of this trouble to make it happen, I might as well show you just what kind of mess that you’ll be getting yourself into. And don’t you fret, it’ll be quite messy by the time we’re through!

 

Saki’s grin did widen as he filled his eyes with the flowering pattern of his Mangekyo Sharingan. Already, he attempted to trap his suitor within the Sharingan’s hypnotic gaze.

Effect: Each Shadow Clone has 50 Health and 60-10x% of the user's remaining stats, where x is the number of clones created. Maximum of five (5) clones may be created. The user chooses the value of x when the technique is used. 

Description: The Shadow Clone Technique was created before the founding of the first ninja villages by Senju Tobirama. Before becoming the Second Hokage, he gained a reputation for using his clones on the battlefield with lethal efficiency. The great strength of the Shadow Clone technique is that it divides a user’s strength evenly, creating clones that are indistinguishable from their creator, even appearing to have their own working organs. Their strength is also a danger though, as a user who is not careful could easily divide their chakra too greatly, and weaken themselves to the point of illness or even death. Unlike some sturdier clones, Shadow Clones can be destroyed with relative ease, a strong hit transforming them into a harmless puff of smoke.

Effect: The value of X is a number between 0 and 24, chosen when this technique is utilized. This technique afflicts one (1) turn of 'Burning: 10x'. When calculating the effects of Subtle Elements: Fire, the user may add the total ‘Burning’ damage caused by this technique’s effect to their total damage.

Description: Originally crafted as a signature technique of the Uchiha clan of Konohagakure, Gōkakyū no Jutsu has found its way into the hands of both common Konoha shinobi and further into the world at large. Though most powerful when handled by a member of its origin clan, Gōkakyū no Jutsu is a formidable and relatively easy to use technique wherein the user kneads chakra inside their body, converts it to fire, then expels flames rapidly from their mouth. Though the technique gains its namesake from a large orb shape, it is easily used as a continuous flame-thrower whose volume can be controlled through raw chakra output. The impact of this technique is not the most potent, but it easily burns away its targets and often leaves a scorched crater in its wake.

The Mangekyō Sharingan is the very peak of the Sharingan's power. So rare is the ability to manifest this stage of the Sharingan, that some once said that it was a myth. It was then believed that to induce the Mangekyō Sharingan, the wielder would have to witness someone very dear to their heart die. The powers presented at this stage, are much greater than even the Toripuruha. The standard abilities of the Sharingan are all available to the Mangekyō Sharingan, but at a state that is beyond comparison to the other stages of the bloodline's evolution. The true power of the Mangekyō Sharingan lies in the abilities unique to it. Each wielder's eyes are different, holding different amazing powers. The use of the Mangekyō Sharingan is a double edged sword though. Extended use will eventually blind the wielder.
Requirements: Level 70, Dormant Sharingan; Key to the Mangekyō Sharingan [success], Does not replace Mitsudomoe Sharingan.

Activation: The Mangekyō Sharingan may be activated during the Setup Phase as a standard action. If the Mitsudomoe Sharingan is active, the Mangekyō Sharingan may be activated in any phase as a free action, though its activation cost must be paid during that phase. The Mangekyō Sharingan may be deactivated as a free action, either on its own(returning the user to the MItsudomoe Sharingan) or alongside a standard Sharingan deactivation. While the Mangekyō Sharingan is active, its Upkeep cost replaces MItsudomoe Sharingan's.

 

Sharingan Insight – Rank Four
Effect: While the Sharingan is active, a character with this skill’s Accuracy, Evasion, and Concentration statistics are increased by 4x, with ‘x’ being equivalent to the characters’s level. The value of ‘x’ may never be less than 50. All statistical bonuses provided by this skill may not exceed 1.5x the base value of the individual statistics. Bonuses to Accuracy and Evasion are nullified when the character targets an opponent whose Speed statistic is 2.5x greater than the character’s.
Description: The first ability that is attributed to the Sharingan is the heightened state of awareness that the wielder enters when activating the dōjutsu. The eyes are able to predict the movements of enemies, or photographically catalog the details of the environment with great superiority. The enhanced accuracy and evasion that is the root of many of the Sharingan's abilities becomes stronger as each new tomoe develops. In its early stages, the Sharingan's influence increases the wielder's sensory awareness greatly, but opponents with great speed are capable of besting the dōjutsu. At more mature stages, the Sharingan is capable of predicting the movements of even the fastest foe.

Sharingan Hypnotism – Rank Four
Effect: While the Sharingan is active, a character with this skill’s non-Forbidden Genjutsu techniques with the ‘Dōjutsu; Sharingan’ descriptor gain the following effect;

 

“The target of this technique must roll a 20-sided dice. On an outcome of 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 the target may take no other actions in response to this technique. If the target of this technique is afflicted with the status effects ‘Impaired Eyesight’ or ‘Blind’ they may increase the outcome of this roll by +2 or +5 (respectively).”

 

Additionally, characters with this skill may purchase the technique ‘Genjutsu: Sharingan’ and while the Sharingan is active, ‘Genjutsu: Sharingan’ is considered seal-less.

Description: Though the many other facets of the Sharingan are greatly desired across the world, none can argue that perhaps the most potent aspect of the Sharingan is its ability to entrap a target within a Genjutsu at just a glance. Early stages of this ability manifest in incomplete ways, no more or less potent than comparable genjutsu- but later evolutions tap into the eye's ability to completely enrapture a target within the Sharingan wielder's mental whims.

Sharingan Copy – Rank Four
Effect: If the Sharingan is active during the Response Phase, a character with this skill may pay .5x Chakra, where 'x' is the cost of any technique used after this character's previous turn. The character with skill must roll a 10-sided dice, and on an outcome of 1 - 8, the technique may be added to the character’s list of known techniques. Techniques added in this way have no Jutsu Point cost. Techniques of a certain Element, Archetype, or Style may be used without the necessary skill, but the Sharingan must be active to utilize techniques which require skills that the character does not possess. Techniques with bloodline or clan skill requirements that the character does not possess, or techniques that the character could not purchase for their standard Jutsu Point cost may not be copied. This skill may be activated 4 times per battle, or 1 time per role-play topic. Activating this skill is a free action.
Description: The power to record and store the details of any technique witnessed is a feat that has long made the Sharingan one of the most coveted kekkei genkai in existence. By simply having their bloodline active, wielders of the Sharingan are able to see the most minute details in the muscles of their foes, identify handseals in mid-combat, and even see the exact patterns of the enemy's chakra. These abilities make Sharingan-wielders impressive copy cats. In it's formative stages, the act of copying a technique is more strenuous on the body, and can produce hit or miss replications, but as the bloodline matures and the wielder becomes more practiced, the ability becomes almost fool-proof.

Sharingan Reflection – Rank Four
Effect: When a character with this skill successfully utilizes Sharingan Copy against a technique, the unresolved technique has a 40% Chance of being negated. This is a triggered effect and may only activate 2 times per battle. Activation of this skill is a free action.
Description: So fast are the reaction times of those who wield the Sharingan, that the brain is capable of quickly responding to incoming threats, and exactly duplicating the attacks of their enemies. In doing so, the wielder is able to match the exact force of the threat and nullify it. At the pinnacle of the Sharingan's ability, the wielder reacts so swiftly to enemy threats that reflecting them almost becomes a second nature.

Sharingan Binding – [Amaterasu]
Effect: Characters with this skill may purchase 1 technique with the 'Hijutsu; Mangekyō Sharingan' Descriptor. The chosen technique is considered to have the 'Seal-less' descriptor. This technique may be utilized a total of 10 times. (This number is inclusive of both statistical battles, and role play topics.) Upon reaching 10 uses, the technique chosen by this skill may not be utilized, and all branches of the Sharingan Bloodline have their effects reduced by 50%. If this would reduce the effects of the Sharingan to 0% then the Sharingan may not be activated, and the character with this skill is considered to be permanently under the status effect 'Blind'. Effect: When determining the cost of this technique ‘x’ is considered to be the CP value of a status effect chosen when purchasing this technique and ‘y’ is equivalent to a value determined by the user. The target of this technique is afflicted with y turns of the chosen status effect. The value of ‘y’ may never exceed the normal duration of the chosen status effect. This technique’s rank is based on the user’s rank in the skill ‘Sharingan Hypnotism’ (i.e: 1; Genin, 2; Chunin, 3; Jonin, etc) and may never exceed the cost of a technique of that rank.
Description: While renown for their fighting prowess, the Uchiha clan are feared as adversaries above all else due to the unique hypnotic attributes of their Sharingan Kekkei Genkai; this attribute is commonly identified as a technique, or series thereof, referred to as "Genjutsu: Sharingan". Genjutsu: Sharingan may be cast by simply establishing eye contact with their intended victim, thereby locking that target within an illusion whose purpose may be adapted to fit the user's needs at that time. In fact, illusions dreamed forth by Genjutsu: Sharingan do not have any established form and may vary wildly from user to user, though they are known for achieving results from binding a target in place to extracting information from an individual- and in some cases, it may even be utilized to remove a previously cast Genjutsu upon another. No matter its versatility in form and function, Genjutsu: Sharingan is primary reason that many shinobi are advised to avoid combat with Uchiha clansmen unless they have a superior number, and even then they are advised never to look an Uchiha in the eyes.

The young beauty arrived at the arena on a chariot driven by what looked like a large stuffed white bear. Whoever was in that outfit was certainly not getting paid enough. As the vehicle entered, Keanu would leap off it, the cart moving on and out of the arena as it did. The girl stood in a white bikini, which was different than what she had worn most of the game show, though she always was in just a bikini top no matter what else she was wearing. The full bikini was new though. So was the sunglasses, necklace of shells, and cap with her name in blue across the front of it. She grinned a wickedly wide grin as she arrived to the cheer of the studio audience that filled the stands for the big finally. Keanu had it narrowed down to three bachelors, and she had easily just dispatched the first two in a series of quick fights. Now was the final, the one against the fan favorite Saki!

 

"A mess is fine as long as it lasts long enough, ya?"

 

Keanu made a small flex, turning her left arm towards Saki in a mocking flirt of a pose, showing off the small circular tattoo that she had on her arm.

 

Unfortunately for Keanu, her opponent was not going to be as much of a push over as her last two. He had the Sharingan after all, which was part of the reason he was the favorite of the audience to win. It wasn't in Keanu's spirit to back down from a challenge though, so even as she understood her circumstances entering the arena she trusted that Saki wouldn't lay her out to bad if she wasn't able to get the upper hand. Probably. Right? She glanced across at him right at the wrong moment, his eyes had already gone that blood red and before she knew it a deep dread seeped into her. The audience drowned out, her heart beat accelerating as she took into the depth of her problem right now.

 

'What am I doin'? He could wax me!', she thought in a panic. It was lucky she had her glasses on, because the fear that would reflect in her eyes probably wouldn't do so well for the shows ratings.

How could he do something so sneakily like that in plain view?

Description: The Nankan have within them the natural ability to manipulate the textures of their skin, providing unique characteristics for a given scenario. This is due to the effect of the experimentation of their genetics. This particular jutsu causes the skin to adopt a thick epidermis of vibrating chakra, invisible to the naked eye. When struck with a chakra based attack, a flash of orange will outline the vibrating pattern as the Chakra-fed skin disperses a portion of the attack, weakening it. Primarily useful in situations where a Nankan is exposed to ample amounts of chakra, the vibrations disrupt the manipulation of chakra and cause the technique to unravel before striking the intended target. If a person were to get close enough to the Nankan they could hear a deep humming due to these vibrations, which also have a side effect of disrupting the flight path of small weaponry.

Somehow her instinct took over from her time as a professional athlete, her arm moving outwards as lightning began to sparkle and crack around her. As she gathered energy she would quickly snapped her limb first towards the clone on the left, then the one on the right, and finally towards Saki himself. Each time she snapped her arm a bolt of lightning would strike out, blasting across the arena with a boom as they threatened to bust open each copy of the young man.

Description: Creating the seals for the technique, the ninja will radiate electrical energy around them and send forward voltages through the ground to their target. The opponent's hair will raise at the last moment as the charges are gathered, three strikes arcing from the user towards their target. A very basic show of Lightning ninjutsu, but often when you are hitting someone with a massive electrostatic discharge of energy you don't need to get too fancy.

OOC: I'll just let it slide on account of being lazy & probably being late anyways. If I'm super late here, I won't be offended if you wanna DQ me and save yourself some time.

 

Saki’s brow lifted slowly at his opponent’s return fire of an innuendo; next, the red-haired man’s flower-patterned Sharingan slipped to the side in search of the cameras nearby. He wondered just how far their conversation would be allowed to go, given that this was a television spectacle. Should he avoid cursing too much? Would their battle get interrupted if one of them said something too overtly sexual? He wondered if he should, perhaps, show a little restraint witht hat overly mouthy nature of his… but on the flip side, wasn’t it only fair that Keanu got to know him as he was before they ‘dated’? It was quite the pickle-- but not one that he would be given too much longer to contemplate, given the surge of chakra encapsulating the woman that was to be his battle-date.

 

Saki leaped into the air as her talons of lightning lanced through the air and blasted his two, slower, clones into smoke. The red-head’s eyes snapped back to Keanu and observed the thin layer of chakra coursing over her skin like some secondary dermal layer, likely a defensive measure. That would probably diminish his ability to damage her outright, and while he did not doubt that some of his abilities could ‘pierce’ through her… he would let her experience those later- after he had peeled away her protection. After all, it was just so much better when their techniques were used raw and unhindered, right?

 

Long enough? Poor girl, I wonder who you’ve been with that’d give you that idea. Technique is more important than speed!” Saki snapped back as he landed and produced a scroll/brush sumijutsu kit from his tool pouch. With a quick motion, he inked his brush and scrawled something brief onto his hand, then set to quickly drawing a large tiger upon the scroll. The tiger peeled itself free and charged toward Keanu while Saki stored his scroll and broke into an arcing charge toward the woman as well- his hand held before him. Upon his palm, the characters that he had scrawled began to glow a searing white, steaming in his hand; it was obvious that the attack would not be a pleasant one if it was allowed to meet Keanu’s bare skin.

 

When they reached their opponent, the tiger lunged forward and sought to bite down upon Keanu’s shoulder, using its claws then to dig into her protective chakra-skin and hold her in place. Saki himself thrust his palm forward, aiming to transfer the scalding sigil from his hand to the woman’s bare stomach.

Description: Shushodō Fūhō is a jutsu "archetype" created by Uchiha Saki in an attempt to blend her personal strengths together to maximize her efficiency in combat. To begin Kūhaku Mahō, the user will use their sumijutsu brush(or similar utensils) to paint the kanji for "Null Magic" onto one of their hands, then will imbue it with the powerful Fire-nature chakra found within most members of the Uchiha clan. They will then attempt to close the distance to their target, then touch them with the augmented hand. Upon coming in contact with an entity other than the user, the Fire-enhanced "seal" will detach from the user and bind itself to its target. In the process of relocation, the seal will super-heat and potentially pose an incendiary risk to its user. Once the seal has bound to an opponent, it will sear itself into their flesh and temporarily render them incapable of utilizing ninjutsu.

Description: Chōjū Giga is commonly considered the precursor technique of most modern Sumijutsu and remains one of the most versatile ninjutsu techniques around. With chakra-infused ink, the user of Chōjū Giga quickly draws upon a ninja scroll; after the completion of a drawing, the ink will peel away from the scroll and grow to life size, acting according to the user’s will at the time of its creation. The most common applications of Chōjū Giga are found in its name: powerful variants of beasts. The most outwardly offensive variations may range from a pack of angry lions to a large dragon intimidating a target as it barrels down upon it; similarly, small creatures such as rats and snakes may be drawn to deliver messages or even bind a target in place. Among the many applications of Chōjū Giga, flying creatures are perhaps the most popular, as they allow the user to soar up and above battlefield hazards and close long distances in short amounts of time. Saki's speed would allow him to strike Keanu, the seal latching on to her and flashing brilliantly before sealing her ability to use ninjutsu. The impact however did not seem to do... anything. The impact had caused that layer of chakra over her to flicker visibly for a moment, but the girl did not even flinch as the hit came in. Instead she grinned, which was hard given the deep sense of dread that she felt almost down to her bones. With a quick twist she instead turned around Saki, narrowly dodging the ink tiger that crashed into the ground near the two of them as she used the man almost as a shield. 

 

"Only proper to dance, ya?"

 

To the spectators that were untrained that was likely what it looked like as the girl spun absorbing the strike she had just taken. In her head there was another story. She could feel the panic being amplified by her inability to form ninjutsu properly. She tried immediately after it hit to try and shock the man away from her but it had not worked. 'Oh shit oh shit oh shit!'

As Keanu passed, realizing she could no longer use her signature lightning attacks to make some distance between the two of them, instead went to try and grab Saki's wrist. If she was successful she would expertly step between his legs and raise her second hand towards his Chin, aiming to knock him up and away from them. Keanu had not shown any sign of Taijutsu ability in her other fights or at any point on the show, and a small 'oooo' rose from the live studio audience watching from the stands as the thin girl gracefully moved. Inside her head she was still barely keeping it together. She wanted nothing more than to run from this man right out of the stadium, but she couldn't. Not in front of all the cameras. She was strong. She was brave. She had faced strong opponents before.
