Sato

-Height: 5’2

-Weight: 110

-Hair Color: Black

-Eye Color: White

-Clothing: In line with her dual persona her clothing can drastically differ between what she is doing. As her everyday 'Sato’ side she goes casual. Her Shinobi gear consisting largely of slacks or pants and a long sleeve shirt. Occasionally opting to pair it with a light coat on the cooler days. Often times in such a situation she will keep herself ‘bound up’ to soften up her burgeoning curves and further disguise herself.

As her 'true self’ Nyssa; her clothing is much more in line with the feminine girl that she, can at times, be. She opts for one piece dresses, stockings, and sweaters whenever she can if she chooses to leave the shop that she runs. When remaining in the shop she will go for a much more ‘business’ type outfit. A black Qipao, stockings, and a semi-transparent white veil covering her face to obscure her features while she does business.

-Physical Description: A rather skinny girl by nature, rather than choice, Nyssa has barely a speck of fat on her body. In fact, she’s so skinny that with just a bit of effort she can pull off the ‘flat chest’ look that most girl’s would despise. In fact, she does as well, but it’s a ‘perk’ that she takes advantage of from time to time as she leaves her family home to partake in her ‘job’ as a Shinobi. A job that her body doesn’t seem to be overly designed for even when she’s dressed for it. Thick black hair cut short frames her features perfectly and contrasts her silver eyes. Smooth white skin hiding not a single scar, pockmark, or blemish of any kind. Despite all of this she has her own ‘womanly’ features. Able to accent what little curves she does have when she decides to be ‘herself’ rather than the shell that she often shows to the outside world.

Personality: Nyssa is an unnecessarily complicated girl. Having, intentionally, developed two separate identities to keep her habits and professional career apart from one another. Her most commonly seen public persona is that of ‘Sato’ the slightly unmotivated Shinobi of Iwagakure. One who barely spoke and when he did was often rude and annoyed to have to do so. It was a side that showed just how annoyed she was with having been almost forced into the career choice by her family.

The much more open, and much more inline with her own identity, Nyssa on the other hand is a young woman that can get herself caught up in discussions quickly. Outgoing, charismatic, and a general ‘people’ person her customers often linger in the shop she runs just to be around her and talk with her while she works. Although when it comes to business she’s a completely serious and consummate professional.

Likes: Working with her hands. Creating/Crafting items.

Dislikes: ‘Working’ as a Shinobi. Her parents.

Favorites:
-Food: Meat, Meat, Meat
-Color: Red
-Music Genre: Catchy Pop
-Book Genre: Historical Fiction; Technical Manuals, Eastern works.
-Hangout: “Odds N’ Ends Specialty Shop” - Her own shop where she practices her tradecraft. Although she sells traditional, and easy to craft, Shinobi gear there it isn’t purchased much in the Iwagakure community. Rather she makes most of her money, and spends most of her time, completing odd jobs and repair work for the average citizen of the village.

Current Allegiance: Iwagakure
Relationships:
-Parent(s):
Father; Tenzin Sato
Mother; Miralee Sato
Siblings; None

Other: N/A

Teammates: N/A

Business Partners: N/A

History: Born to the Sato family of Iwagakure Nyssa was, and remains, the only child of the Sato family. A relatively well known, by most standards, within the village for being a family of military lifers. Since nearly the beginning of the village's recorded history the Sato family had watched over the village as shinobi living and giving their lives over to the village from a young age. Nyssa was expected to do just the same. 'Trained' in the Ninja way from the time she could walk and talk. It never quite clicked with the girl. As she grew up she had less and less interest in throwing Kunai, Shuriken, and using explosive tags than she did in wondering how they were created.  So long as it remained idle curiousity her parents didn't mind allowing their daughter's free time to be wasted on such an act. Whenever she would spend 'too much time' (as dictated by her parents or uncles) then she would be punished and put right back onto 'proper' training. It wasn't as if they knew that shinobi Engineer's weren't an existing thing, especially in their home village, it was simply that they believed it to be a deviating path along the true way to become a shinobi. One they were strictly and vehemently against.

So, she grew up, or at least she let them believe she did. Learning rather quickly and at a young age that it was best to 'fake it' rather than let her parent's continue punishing her with grueling laps around the family home into the dead of night. She quickly became just another 'soldier' in the family line. Discarding her given name of Nyssa for most matters. She no longer felt like that girl around her family... no longer felt like they deserved to call her it. So, why would she encourage it? Rather, she alienated herself from her family and preferred to spend as little time at home as she could. Graduating from the academy at a typical and standard age of twelve she managed to get herself out of a team assignement with her families minimal connections. Preferring to be a more 'administration' based gennin. Rarely leaving out on a mission and instead fulfilling her duties to the village in other ways.

Ways that let her develop as "Nyssa". The rather new and local shop keeper who'd popped up after the war to help the village with it's odds and ends level repairs. When many were worried about other grander things Nyssa would work as a local blacksmith and crafter with a knack for metals, wood, and the occasional scroll when the right type of customer came to the shop and knew what to ask for.

The Path Of An Artisan

With these own two hands... I will build my ninja way.

Some Ninja are either exceptionally gifted at the creation and use of items in battle or work hard towards that mastery. These ninja are are more often than not viewed as the most inventive among their peers, and those that follow the Path of the Artisan in the past have been known to create some of the greatest items of legend, as well as the simple tools that nearly every Ninja has used for over a hundred years.

Gain one (1) JP upon leveling up.

Scrolls Arts (2)

Symmetry is a part of art, is it not? Why have one when you can have more!
Effect: You may use more than one scroll per battle. For every rank in this skill you gain access to one more scroll per fight.

Cost: -1*
*2 Ranks gained for every 1 Rank purchased due to Path of the Artisan: Master of the Canvas.

Hindering

Inner Conflict
Some ninja lack the heart of steel to finish a weakened enemy in front of them. As soon as they have the upper hand they find that they are unable to take that last step and end the battle. This moment of hesitation is small in time, but costly in the seconds of battle that can determine life or death.
Effect: When an opponent falls below 15% total health for the first time in battle you may not preform any offensive actions that include them as a target for two (2) turns. This skill must be shared at the start of a battle.
    Cost: +2

Earth Release

Earth Release; Avalanche | Doton; Nadare

Type: Ninjutsu [Iwagakure; Earth]
Rank: Gennin
Cost: 30 Chakra
Damage: 10
Effect: Area of Effect
Description: The user puts their hands within the ground and pulls out two chunks of rock. By using their chakra they control the rocks to hurl them at the ground. They break into many pieces, which are propelled by the users chakra, within a 20 foot radius of the user. The technique is used for hitting multiple opponents.
Points: 2

 Academy

Body Replacement Technique | Kawarimi no Jutsu
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: Academy Student
Cost: x Chakra
Effect: This technique may be performed as a Free Action in the Response Phase following a failed dodge roll. When determining the cost of this technique "x" is equivalent to the cost of 1 basic attack or small weapon attack that the user failed to dodge. The damage and effects of that basic attack or small weapon attack are negated. The user may take no action in the Setup Phase or Main Phase on the turn this technique is used. This technique has a 5% chance to fail. This technique may be performed 1 time per battle.
Description: A life-saving technique for most young shinobi, the Body Replacement Jutsu has been a staple in academy learning for many years. By utilizing their ability to manipulate chakra, with quick movement, a skillful shinobi is capable of switching their position with another object to evade damage. By creating a simple optical illusion, the user of the Kawarimi no Jutsu can make it appear as though they were damaged or even killed by the opponent's attack. Some ninja become extremely adept in the usage of this technique, and have even been known to swap places with hazardous materials to trap their enemies.
Points: Free Upon Creation

Clone Technique | Bunshin no Jutsu
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: Academy Student
Cost: 5x Chakra
Effect: This technique may be used in the Setup Phase or Main Phase. When determining the cost of this technique "x" is considered to be the number of "Clones" created by the user and may never be greater than 2. "Clones" have 1 Health and 1% of the user's other statistics. "Clones" are not physical, and may not use items, techniques or attack during their turn. The user of this technique gains +20 Evasion or +20 Accuracy for every "Clone" on the battlefield. The effects of 'Clones' may be ignored by any character with heightened senses (i.e; Byakugan, Path of the Sensor, Inuzuka Smell Tracker, etc). This technique may be used in the Setup Phase 1 time per battle.
Description: A technique that most students are required to be proficient in before they can graduate from the academy, the Bunshin no Jutsu is the most basic of the myriad of clone techniques that exist in the world. By properly molding their chakra, the user is capable of creating near perfect replicas of themselves. Unlike most bunshinjutsu, the basic clone technique does not produce physical clones but creates something more akin to a projected image, which is a real image that has no form. The Clone Technique is considered an E-Ranked jutsu, and is not very powerful, but with practice and ingenuity many shinobi have come to use it in masterful ways. Most often stalling by hiding out among their clones, or setting themselves up for a strong offensive.
Points: Free Upon Creation

Transformation Technique | Henge no Jutsu
Type: Ninjutsu
Rank: Academy Student
Cost: 10 Chakra
Effect: During any situation in which a character with this technique would need to calculate their "Visibility Score", they may use this technique to reduce their "Visibility Score" by -10%. "Visibility Score" reduction caused by this technique may be ignored by any character with heightened senses (i.e; Byakugan, Path of the Sensor, Inuzuka Smell Tracker, etc).
Description: The Transformation Technique is a time-honored staple of nearly every shinobi academy the world over. Its concept and execution are both extremely basic, making it a perfect training technique for young students. By molding chakra around their body, the user of the Transformation Jutsu is able to temporarily take on the physical characteristics of another person. Though the Henge no Jutsu rarely offers a perfect disguise, clever ninja have been using it for hundreds of years to confound their foes.

A Final Reservation Space.

She's good to go for approval.

A tertiary Character.
Aria in Kumogakure and Kasumi in Konohagakure are both above the required levels to make a tertiary by a 'fair' bit.

She's not all that fleshed out, just enough to get a good idea of what you're playing/working with. I'll most likely expand upon her when I get around to creating a Wikia page. If it affects her in any substantial way I'll have her drawn back to be reapproved. (Note, it'd just be a flavor/non mechanical expansion of information such as history, personality, appearance, etc.)
