Matthias Drake Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 I nerfed it. A lot. Really it can be nerfed more if necessary, as long as it's keepable - I can't really explain just losing it. Skill Name: Wings of TriumphBloodline: None. Description: The Wings of Triumph are in the form of a symmetrical tattoo on the back of the possessor. They look like the wing-tattoos sported by many of the youth of the world, but with one notable difference: in the place on the back where there is normally a blank space between the wings, there is a pentagram, in the center of which is an ambigrammatic design of the word "Fly.” When activated, this all changes. The wings seem to peel off the skin, and in an instant they grow to a wingspan of over twenty-seven feet. The wings are immaterial, and will pass through any matter except for the ambient environment (eg, air, water). The seal that allows this was invented by Alchem Sanji, and must be learned from him. A passage about how said seal works and how to inscribe it can be found in his research journal, should he die, and whoever finds that can teach and learn his custom jutsu as if they were him. Effect: When activated, it allows the user to fly. They can carry one, and at most two, people with them. This is used for role-playing purposes, and also has these "hard” game effects: 1. When activated, increases the user's speed by 200 if they RP flight. 2.When carrying people, each person reduces the speed by a quarter of total. You can carry up to 2 people. 3.When flying at "long range,” neither the user nor the opponent can hit with close-up techniques. "Long Range” only refers to 20+ feet in the air, not horizontal distance. 5.Activation costs 80 chakra and takes a main phase. Upkeep is 50 chakra. Cost: -2 This oen is the same as always, though, so it at least should be unobjectionable (nobody's ever cared about it before): Skill Name: Sealless JutsuBloodline: No Description: The posessor has all the handseals imprinted on his neuroglial cells, with a single chakra pathway connected to each seal. Simple concentration allows the user to access these seals and use them as normal seals. However, this requires great skill with the use of chakra. Effect: User does not need to use seals to do jutsu. Cost: -1 Requirements: You must undergo the operation in a hospital, or it must be done by a sennin-rank ninja in the field. You must then spend three RL days in the hospital. You most post 5 posts (10 lines each) of training recovering from the operation and 5 more learning to use the new ability. The 5 posts of recovery are set, but the 5 posts of learning can be affected by Quick Learner and similar skills, down to 1 post. WITHOUT THIS TRAINING, JUTSUS USED WITHOUT SEALS DO NOT WORK. You must have a score in Ninjutsu or Genjutsu of more than 500, or a combined score of 900 or more to be able to effectively use these seals. Until you do, all jutsu used without seals DO NOT WORK.

Shouldn't you have a set Chakra amount as well? After all, 'this requires great skill with the use of chakra.' Other than that, it looks good. Edited July 24, 2006 by Maelstrom
Matthias Drake Posted July 24, 2006 Author Posted July 24, 2006 ...umm.... Dreams and fairydust? I have a note to myself in my character sheet to explain that when I get to that part of my history... It was part of a timeskip... I'm still not sure how to explain it. I don't think it would take an amount of chakra, since it doesn't take any more chakra than otherwise... Just more skill at directing it.
cntrstrk14 Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 Moving to dead because Wings of Triumph was resubmitted here and sealless needs a re-submission hard.
