Tenteishihaibuki I (Divine Weapon Control)

Type: Ninjutsu [Kugutsu; Personal Clan]

Rank: Gennin

Cost: 5% Total Chakra per Puppet

Damage: n/a

Effects:

- The user of this technique must have the skill 'Chakra Transmission'.

- Allows the user to take control of up to two puppets with 'Chakra Receiver' equipped in a part slot.

- Can only control puppets with up to 250 durability and/or 30 part slots.

- May be activated in the setup phase, counts as drawing your puppets.

- For all intents and purposes this technique's name is 'Kugustu no Jutsu'

Description: This technique utilizes the transmission of chakra much like the strings from the 'Kugustu no Jutsu' to control puppets. The technique works by transmitting chakra into recievers within a puppet allowing a wireless interaction between user and creation. The range of the technique is only as vast as the range of the users ability to transmit chakra. Due to the fact that the usual chakra strings that are associated with the puppet technique are not being applied while using this technique it is easy for the user to trick their opponent into thinking they are fighting a living creature.

I'm assuming the Chakra cost is per turn?

Also, you may need to raise the cost percentage up some. I mean, 2% is next to nothing, especially at Sennin level.

No, this is a one time cost as is standard for the 'Kugutsu no Jutsu'. It is important to remember that you are only paying to draw these weapons, as anything you do with them will cost additional chakra.

When it comes to 2% at Sennin, that is standard.

Standard doesn't always make it right. And since there's no additional cost applied to 'Kugutsu no Jutsu', I suppose I can't force you to pay an upkeep cost (even though I think you should, but that's not the issue here).

Now, since you're basically paying to use a modified version of 'Kugutsu no Jutsu' that pretty much frees up your hands (one of the drawbacks to using puppets, in my opinion), I still say you should increase the cost some. I'd honestly like to see 4% at Sennin.

If by free up your hands you mean allows you to wield a weapon, then your correct. However you were able to perform handseals with the original technique so the benefit is nil, especially considering the fact that the only way to use the weapon is to forgo the use of a puppet.

When it comes to pricing I am willing, though reluctantly, to increase the price to 3% if another Moderator has an issue with it. 4% per Puppet is just to much for the simple task of drawing a weapon, especially at the SENNIN rank.

I would like to see the cost increased to 3% at Sennin level. Mainly because, if you have two ranks of chakra flow you would practically be able to draw all of your puppets for free. Having ten puppets on the field at a time is pretty impressive, so I think you should have to pay at least some chakra for it.

Done, though I'd like to point out that your scenario would dictate I spend 14 SP on this technique.
