Due to its primary component, jet, it has been referred to as the black amber rosary, in that it generates an electrical charge when the beads are rubbed. A set of beads said to be linked to the seventy-seven prayers of a forgotten religion, it is said that the religion praised only spirits from the other world. When all of the prayers are spoken in succession, it has been found in obscure texts that an event of divine importance occurs. Whether this is divine intervention or the equivalent of the rapture remains to be seen; though some believe it will cast out evil, saving the world. Unfortunately, these prayers are lost to the tide of time and perhaps, just maybe, the only ones who remember them are the spirits that the prayers worship. If they actually exist, that is. Regardless, these are wrapped carefully around the left hand and intertwined between the ring and middle fingers. Then they are wound across the palm and horizontally over the back of the hand. These beads are worn on the left hand, since it was believed that all demons were left-handed, as the nature of ‘left' was inherently cursed by them. Therefore, the rosary is to seal evil from the left hand. Because of this, the ancient religion believed that the word ‘right' received the definition of ‘correct' due to not being cursed by association. Whether this is true or not is beside the point, as this rosary is said to protect the soul from truly elemental evils. Seeing your background with Chakra, I'm not surprised to see your character being able to prevent drain, since he drains himself. That would give understandable background and knowledge concerning how to prevent it. The ninja rank thing balances it out. App this sucka, kids!
Tantan Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 The effect sounds really nice. Though I am not familiar with many/any techs that try to damage chakra. So I don't know how much use it will get. Thus I price it at $111.11. Thats right folks, the first item with cents! This will need one more appy now I believe.
