Rank: Gennin

Cost: 10X [x = number of Kumonenkin in hand]

Damage: 3 [3 senbon each sticky gold secretion]

Effect: Setup phase jutsu, maximum number of objects created is equivalent to the number of free hands. A technique performed with no hand seals, it could only be done in conjunction with Kumonenkin. Material strength is cumulative with the base damage of the weapon.

What is Kumonenkin?

What is Kumonenkin?

Name: Kumosenkyuu: Suzaku - Spider Warbow: Horrible Split

Bloodline: Kurokumoushinja

Type: Ninjutsu [webbing]

Rank: Gennin

Cost: 50

Damage: Considered medium sized compound bow

Effect: Setup phase jutsu, only one weapon. A technique performed with no hand seals, it could only be done in conjunction with Kumonenkin. The material strength of the secretion adds 2x speed to projectile attack [x = webbing strength]. Weapon is considered medium sized.

Description: After expelling the Kumonenkin thread from their mouth and hands, the Kurokumoushinja combine and mold it to form a composite bow about the length of the user's arm. The hardened secretion mixed with chakra strengthened exponentially as the air hits the infused chemical to refine the its attack capabilities, giving it higher strength than a compound bow, personalized targeting mechanism for greater speed.

What level is the weapon? What do you mean when you say 2x the speed?

Name: Kumosenkyuu: Suzaku - Spider Warbow: Horrible Split

Bloodline: Kurokumoushinja

Type: Ninjutsu [webbing]

Rank: Chunnin

Cost: 100

Damage: Considered medium sized level compound bow

Effect: Setup phase jutsu, only one weapon. A technique performed with no hand seals, it could only be done in conjunction with Kumonenkin [x = webbing strength]. The material strength of the secretion adds 5x speed to projectile attack.

Again, what do you mean when you say 5x speed?

Kumonenkin is the secretion which the bloodline user must secrete and pay for with stamina. It was listed within the bloodline under the 'Arachnid Secretion Creation – Kumonenkin [Golden Spider]' skill for the bloodline

For the bow... that was problematic since it would have to be of medium level, but since it is the arrows which cause damage to the opponent, I didn't know what level to give it...let's say level 1? But it is 2 times the secretion strength which is added to the speed of the projectile.

For instance, for level 1 of the bloodline skill, if the person has 100 in taijutsu, the skill would give the webbing strength of 15, so it would be 30 added to speed stat only calculated when he shoots an arrow with the warbow.

Well, bows actually deal damage for their level, plus a small amount of damage that is added like a modifier depending on the arrows. So a medium level 2 bow with arrows that deal one damage would deal 4 + 1 damage each shot, and then add modifiers. So consider that and get back to be on the bow.

Also, the 2x speed and 5x speed will not fly, it is just to much of a modifier increase. I suggest that you make it a static amount it increases the attack by, especially since jutsu now cannot increase stats above 1.5x the original stat, even if it is just for damage.

The first two, these are just creating the weapons right? You actually attack with them in the main phase, correct?

Ok...

I've reworked the Bows where the cost for the actual weapon is being paid through chakra then while accounting for the shinobi rank conversions.

And yes, these setup phase techniques are only for the creation of the weapons, not for the actual attack with them, those attacks would be either set up in a technique or basic weapon attacks.

Ok, so in damage you should put 'n/a' and in the setup you should say creates 3x needles, each with a base of 1 damage. Putting that effect in the damage area makes it seem like an attack and not like a creation of weapons.

Same as the above, please move it to the effect as say "Creates x Kunai with base damage of 10"

See above.

What does 'webbing strength is cumulative with base damage of the weapon' mean? Moreso in the first couple techniques.

Posted

Actually that shouldn't be there for the weapon techs. Material webbing strength [kumonenkin] is basically the dexterity of the webbing itself, or how strong it is in terms of using stamina to break it...it doesn't apply here

Omitted the lines
