Description: Using Alchemy, the performer of this technique stands in one spot with hands clasped together. As they channel their chakra into the ground around their opponent, small tubes of thin steel are launched out of the ground all around them. Each of these tubes is filled with pure Nitroglycerin. As these tubes make contact with the opponent, the violent impact causes the Nitroglycerin to explode violently, sending shrapnel everywhere and damaging the opponents severely. Though the most of the damage is caused in the initial explosion, the shrapnel will also fly everywhere, with a chance to hit more opponents. Requirements: Alchem Clan, Alchemic Eye: Rank 4. Points: 7 Alchem Type: Helium Bubble (Helium Baburu) Type: Ninjutsu (Earth + Wind) Rank: Jounin Cost: 320 Chakra + 150 Chakra per turn after five. Damage: n/a Effects: Opponent is ‘Drowning' for five turns, ‘Dizzy' after three. After the fifth turn the opponent takes 100 unmodified damage per turn on top of the drowning damage. User may keep paying per turn after the fifth turn. After the fifth turn the opponent may pay 5% of their total chakra OR stamina to make a roll in their response phase of 100 - User's Level + Defender's Level. If the roll is above 50 they break free. If the user skips their main phase the defender must roll above 80 to break free. Opponent has a high pitch voice after turn three. This technique cannot kill an opponent. Description: The user simply encapsulates the opponent in a bubble of Helium gas that follows them around as the move throughout the battle field. Since Helium is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas the opponent does not even realize they are within the bubble. The speed of the opponent is slowed, as the gas replaces the oxygen in their blood, without their knowledge of why, and soon after they become dizzy from the lack of oxygen. Following the dizziness the opponent will start to feel pain and the user at this point, to keep the bubble on the opponent must use all their concentration to keep the opponent within the bubble. Depending on how completely oxygen is replaced by helium, they may lose consciousness quickly and without warning—they may literally pass out while still standing. The usual result is an uncontrolled fall that can cause serious injury, even if normal breathing resumes before brain damage occurs due to lack of oxygen. The opponent's voice will also be high pitched. Requirements: Alchem Clan, Alchemic Eye: Rank 4. Points: 7 Alchem Type: Burning Gourd (Nenshou Hyoutan) Type: Ninjutsu (Earth + Water) Rank: Jounin Cost: 320 Damage: 100 Effects: 40 bleeding damage per turn for three turns. ‘Burned' for three turns. 120% damage from water attacks for three turns. If this is blocked by a shield ninjutsu that shield cannot be used for three turns. If it was a multi-turn shield it must be reactivated. Any equipment used to reduce the effects of this attack are considered useless for the rest of the battle. Description: The user reaches their hand into the ground and pulls out a fragile gourd from the earth. Within the gourd is Sulfuric Acid, coated with a layer of chakra to keep it from eating through the gourd. The user then throws this gourd at the opponent, and upon contact it shatters, sending the contents all over the them. The corrosive properties of sulfuric acid are accentuated by its highly exothermic reaction with water. Hence burns from sulfuric acid are potentially more serious than those of comparable strong acids (e.g. hydrochloric acid), as there is additional tissue damage due to dehydration and particularly due to the heat liberated by the reaction with water, i.e. secondary thermal damage. Nappers Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 Alchem Type: Helium Bubble (Helium Baburu); So, after 5 turns, you then pay upkeep to deal 100 modified damage, and this is unavoidable because they've already been hit by the technique and then this is maintained on top of that; if the user chooses to maintain damage they gain no main phase but can do other actions? Unavoidable maintained damage over time can't be what you mean, I don't allow/like that, I'm sure I've just read it in a weird way; clear this up for me plox? Alchem Type: Burning Gourd (Nenshou Hyoutan); that 'not be used again' effect make it that the technique used may not be used for an amount of turns as opposed to ever again.
