cntrstrk14 Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Kuchiyose no Jutsu; Gegei no Kisai (Summoning Technique; Beckon of the Wizard) Type: Ninjutsu (Void) Rank: Jounin Cost: 10 + 4x Chakra Damage: n/a Effects: Summons one object to the user. Object summoned must have had Seal; Jutsu formula (術式, "Jutsu-shiki") preformed upon it beforehand. Can be preformed in the setup phase. User may pay 20 extra chakra to use this technique in the response phase. The item summoned may be used in the same phase it is summoned, granted it is normally allowed to be used in that phase. Nappers Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 When you summon something I presume you'd end up holding it and it not just appearing somewhere? So should it therefore not take up a Setup Phase to count as euip/uneqipping?
Nappers Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 I see where you're going with Superb Draw but the two are really un-related. Performing hand seals and making matter appear is considerably more difficult than hax fast reflexes. I think it'd be better scripted that it will take up a Setup Phase if it is a medium+ sized weapons or items of equivalant size (as when I read it, Superb Draw doesn't even apply to weapons that size, but again I see them as unrelated abilities). I think the effects should read something along the lines of- - Summons one object to the user. Object summoned must have had Seal; Jutsu formula (術式, "Jutsu-shiki") preformed upon it beforehand. - Used in the Setup Phase. May pay an extra 20 Chakra to perform in the Response Phase. - May only be used once per turn. - If object is larger than the summoner, must be preformed in the main phase, and this technique must take up the entire phase. - X is equal to the amount of item slots the item takes up. With the cost having a static along with the variable, 20 + 4X
cntrstrk14 Posted August 1, 2007 Author Posted August 1, 2007 Took some of your suggestions and another idea I had. I added that the summoned item can be used the turn it is summoned, granted it is able to be used in that phase normally. This is because one of the items (The main item) I want to be able to summon is a scroll. And one of my two scrolls has a response phase jutsu on it, which I want to be able to use if I summon a scroll.
Nappers Posted August 1, 2007 Posted August 1, 2007 Looks nice to me. But I think a base cost, even a few as 10 should be in there. A base or minimum, 4 seems too few.
