Description: The Awaiken pulls light into a tight packed wall of light, around 4 feet high, 5 across. They then whip it upward, and spin, releasing a wave of light towards their opponent. The light is hot enought to melt solid stone. It does extreme external injury, and leaves severe burns. Points: 5 Requirements: Light Absorbtion [Rank 2] Name: Kasui-Ranpu (Light Spikes) Type: Clan Ninjutsu {Light} Rank: Chuunin Cost: 142 Damage: 40 Effects: Blind 1 turn. Burned for 2 turns. May only be used if targeted by a melee Taijutsu attack. May only be used once per battle. Lose main phase of next turn. Description: A counterattack, and Awaiken would only use Kasui-Ranpu to avoid an attack if absolutely necessary. If one were to aim a Taijutsu attack at the clan member, several gleaming spikes of light would form at the area of the attack, and travel toward the opponent. These spikes are very bright and hot, and if they make contact can cause blindness and burns. Because of the extreme concentration it take to use this technique, it may only be used once per battle. Rei Posted December 30, 2007 Posted December 30, 2007 For references purposes, provide a link to Light Absorption [Rank 2] in your initial post. Ranpu no Nami (Wave of Light): 132 Chakra Kasui-Ranpu (Light Spikes): 142 chakra and user losses his/her Main Phase next turn.
