The user is not affected by any effects of the current climate condition that involve physical connection. Things that affect vision and hearing are not included in this technique. The value of x is equal to the per turn cost of the climate effect. If “Alchemic Thought” is activated upkeep cost is x instead of 1.2x. Only affects one type of climate effect per activation, chosen when activated. Description: The Alchem will extend their specialized chakra from their body to form an aura of invisible chakra that will surround their entire form. Any climate effects such as rain, snow, winds or other airborne conditions will instantly be broken into their most basic elements and reflected away from the user’s body. To the naked eye in a rainstorm this will appear to be a strange type of rounded aura. What an observer will be seeing though is actually what they are not seeing. Since the rain seizes to exist when it strikes this invisible barrier the area around the Alchem will be completely dry, creating what looks like a sphere of perfectly invisible glass around the user. Restrictions: - Alchemy Points: 5 The following is a resubmission for 7.0 Secret Earth Type; Birth of the Colossus (Doton Hijutsu; Seitan no Yajuu) Type: Ninjutsu (Earth) Rank: Sennin Cost: 580 Chakra Damage: 200 per attack; two attacks, can target separate enemies. Effects: -100 Evasion to dodge this technique. Changes the Terrain to: Rocky Plateau. - Rocky Plateau: Speed and Evasion are at 90% Description: The user of this technique actually rips the very terrain asunder to attack their foes. By focusing on up to two points on the field, the user causes the very rock below to rip and burst upwards, from there rippling outwards like a rock thrown into water. The bedrock is uplifted, changing the field into a rocky and dismantled plateau, much like those found all over the Country of Earth. The opponent, if caught in these central points, will be first blasted with large chunks of rock and dirt and then hit by large slabs of rock as they erupt upwards. cntrstrk14 Posted August 27, 2009 Author Posted August 27, 2009 If lavaflow was a climate effect, it would. But it is not. Though it would stop damage from say, hailstorm. The actual range of things this can effect is pretty small, I just thought it was a cool idea. I also RP'ed it in fang at some point.
