Major Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 (edited) Tendril Technique: Full Body Bind Type: Taijutsu [clan; Karitegaki] Rank: Chuunin Cost: 75 Chakra + 75 Stamina Damage: 30 Effect: Opponent is afflicted with the status effect "Vulnerable", “Disorganized” and “Stunned” for one turn. Description: This simple technique is usually done by slamming the users hands on the opponent or on the ground and sending many tendrils to wrap up the entire body of it’s victim, usually setting them up for a devastating attack. There has been known to be many different styles of delivery to fit the user however. Some puncturing or lacerations are common with this technique. Points: 5 Vulnerable: Lose your next Response Phase. Opponent is not affected by vulnerable if they were vulnerable in the previous post. May only be used once a battle per enemy by Gennin, two times by Chuunin and three times by Jounin. Max Duration: 1 turn DP: 50/turn Disorganized: Lose your next Setup Phase. Opponent is not affected by disorganized if they were stunned in the previous post. May only be used once a battle per enemy by Gennin, three times by Chuunin and six times by Jounin. Max Duration: 1 turn DP: 30/turn Stunned: Lose your next Main Phase. Opponent is not affected by stun if they were stunned in the previous post. May only be used once a battle per enemy by Gennin, three times by Chuunin and six times by Jounin. Max Duration: 1 turn DP: 50/turn Tendril Technique: Blinding Whirlwind Type: Taijutsu [clan; Karitegaki] Rank: Chuunin Cost: 70 Chakra + 70 Stamina Damage: 30 Effect: Opponent is afflicted with "Blind" for one turn, and "Full opening" for 'Tendril Technique: Earth Shatterer' Description: The user extends out their tendrils and spins them around, creating a difficult 'web' of attacks that are generally used to distract from one specific strike, aimed at the opponent's eyes. Some damage to the opponent is expected. Points: 5 Blind: Your accuracy is reduced to 20 (unless you had less accuracy than 20), unless your character has an unusual ability to use their other senses (i.e. Inuzuka sense of smell, Nerves of Insanity's enhanced senses, Blind Guardian's ability to function without sight) and your evasion is likewise reduced to 0 except in the aforementioned circumstances. May only be used once a battle per enemy by Gennin, three times by Chuunin and six times by Jounin. Max Duration: 3 turns DP: 50/turn Full Opening: The opponent has 0% chance to dodge for their next response phase against x. x = a single, specific technique specified by the attack that caused this status effect. May not be used after Half Opening, Full Opening, Half Chain Openings, or Full Chain Openings. Max Duration: 1 DP: 20 + (10 * y) [y = Jutsu Point Cost of x] Tendril Technique: Earth Shatterer Type: Taijutsu [clan; Karitegaki] Rank: Chuunin Cost: 70 Chakra + 70 Stamina Damage: 150 Effect: Distracted for two turns. Description: Used as a finishing move for most of the Shuukaku bloodline, the user propels their self up into the air, extending some of their tendrils up as well. They bring them down at the last moment before they hit the ground, using both their momentum and their strength to hit their opponent as hard as they can.
