Hardcore Skittlez Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 (edited) Gudōdama | 求道玉 | Truth-Seeking Ball Rank: Sennin Type: Ninjutsu [Forbidden: Powerful | Fire | Water | Earth | Wind | Lightning] Cost: 70x Damage: -- Effect: May only be used Twice per battle. This technique may not be learned, copied, or otherwise replicated through any means unless the would-be user possesses all 5 Subtle Elements skills. Creates X Truth-Seeking Balls; a maximum of 8 Truth-Seeking Balls may be active at any one time. If at any point, the user of this technique is transported off of the battlefield(or to another location that is an exceptional distance away via techniques such as Kamui or Flying Thunder God), the user must roll a D100 for each Truth-Seeking Ball currently active. On a roll of 1-50, that Truth-Seeking Ball is immediately removed from play without triggering any of its possible effects. Truth-Seeking Balls last until used and benefit from all 5 Subtle Elements skills when used. They may be utilized either in jutsu that specifically call for them, or as follows: Response Phase; Any number of Truth-Seeking Balls may be sacrificed during the Response Phase, before dodge rolls have been made, to grant the user a Barrier that lasts until the end of the phase whose health is equal to two (2) times the CP value of the Truth-Seeking Balls that are sacrificed. If the Truth-Seeking Balls utilized in this fashion were paid for with Natural Energy, this Barrier sustains 20% less damage from all sources. Using any number of Truth-Seeking Balls in this fashion consumes the user's Main Phase(s) for that turn. Truth-Seeking Balls may be utilized in this manner only twice per battle. Setup Phase; Any number of Truth-Seeking Balls may be sacrificed during the Setup Phase. The next offensive Ninjutsu utilized by this character increases its number of strikes by the number of Truth-Seeking Balls sacrificed. These additional strikes deal 140 Base Damage. If the Truth-Seeking Balls utilized in this fashion were paid for with Natural Energy, the opponent may apply only 50% of their Defense versus these additional strikes. Damage dealt by Truth-Seeking Balls to Clones or other Controllable Constructs(Such as Edo Tensei manipulated Characters, defer to staff where application is questionable, does not apply to Summons) may not be healed through means that are not paid for with Natural Energy. Description: Gudōdama is a technique believed to have been passed down since time immemorial, originating with the original Rokudo Sennin- though any factuality to that claim has been since lost to time. While the Gudōdama is theoretically able to be used by any individual gifted enough to blend all five elemental natures into a single, cohesive, technique, it has only been seen in practical application by masters of Senjutsu. Gudōdama are malleable orbs of sheer black chakra, comprised of all five chakra natures and both Yin and Yang releases. The orbs themselves are highly adaptable and may be re-molded at a whim to suit the user’s purposes. When augmented by Senjutsu Chakra, Gudōdama gain new properties that both enhance their strength and durability; additionally, Senjutsu-Augmented Gudōdama are known to nullify other forms of Ninjutsu and prevent the immediate regeneration of damage to entities made of, or sustained by, chakra. While versatile, the Gudōdama suffers from one major drawback: if an orb is brought 70 meters or more away from its user, it dissipates immediately. -20 JP Edited April 13, 2015 by Hardcore Skittlez
Cellar Door Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Clones and Edo Tensei... yes. Summons... no. Summons are masters of natural energy, and living things, not constructs of Ninjutsu. That'd be like saying damage to Syaoran can't be healed if he's used Flying Thunder God that battle.
Eechi-go Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 'If the Truth-Seeking Balls utilized in this fashion were paid for with Senjutsu Chakra, the opponent may apply only 50% of their Defense versus these additional strikes.' I think you mean 'Natural Energy'. While obviously they mean the same thing, Natural Energy is the terminology for Sage Mode's resources.
Hardcore Skittlez Posted March 18, 2015 Author Posted March 18, 2015 removed the summons thing, changed terminology from Senjutsu Chakra to Natural Energy.
Hardcore Skittlez Posted April 13, 2015 Author Posted April 13, 2015 Edited to change a missed occurrence of "Senjutsu Chakra" to "Natural Energy". Effects remain the same.
Cellar Door Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 You may move this yourself! You're welcome. Enjoy. K love you bye.
