Prophet Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 (edited) Skill Name: Mizu-ken Fighting Style Bloodline: Kiri-nin only. May be learned off a Kiri-nin who has this skill. Description: This fighting style was created by a little known order of monks from Water Country. It was designed to get the maximum effect from the least energy expended. Every move, while seemingly graceful and almost flippant, is really a devastating blow that leaves its victims reeling. While a powerful fighting style it comes at acost of focus as the user's entire concentration must be brought to bear for it to be effective. Effect: +10 damage all Taijutsu attacks and techniques, +10% Evasion, +10% Accuracy, -20% Concentration, cannot use genjutsu or ninjutsu techniques while in this stance, must remain in stance for at least three turns. Cost: -2 I think the cost is fair considering the penalties involved here. Although if you disagree that's why we have approval threads. Just so it's clear to all, these modifiers are placed on your roll tags just like every other fighting tactics. They have nothing to do with TXP. Also to explain why you have to be in the stance for at least 3 turns: It takes a certain state of mind to move in this fashion and thus you cannot simply change in and out of it so you can use other techniques. That would be what we call "Broken." EDITED-Removed +5% Taijutsu and added 5 damage. Also added TXP note. Edited April 13, 2006 by Prophet
cntrstrk14 Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 percentiles are based off of TXP for now. It may be changed soon, but it is in conversation now between the staff.
Prophet Posted April 13, 2006 Author Posted April 13, 2006 The percentages are added onto the rolls, they're not TXP. Personally I hate that system, don't ask why I just do. I'm more focused on the rolls.
Prophet Posted April 14, 2006 Author Posted April 14, 2006 Bumping again, I'm anxious for critiques here.
Kido Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 So the stance is activated/deactivated in set up phase and all attacks therein are taijutsu?
Prophet Posted April 16, 2006 Author Posted April 16, 2006 Basic attacks and techniques. Yes Taijutsu only..
Kitai Tenshi Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 Well i dont see anything wrong. so approved untill someone tells me im stupid.
