Upon a successful attack with this technique, the target is dealt the status effect 'Petrified' for 3 turns. In addition, they are dealt the status effect Stunned for 1 turn, the status effect Sickened for 2 turns, and the status effect Startled for 2 turns. Description: Harnessing a trademark of his village, the user points towards his opponent with his pointer finger, his thumb bent as if to pull back the hammer of a gun, and the rest of his hand put into a knuckled fist. Seeping Chakra from their pores, they fill their entire expression with malice and 'killing intent', to startle and invoke fear in their opponent in a largely psychological way, aided by their chakra providing pressure in the air around them. Effect: The opponent is afflicted with 3 turns of [Choking]. Description: The user utilizes their abilities of genjutsu to more than mess with their opponents mind. It's not felt at first, the feeling subtle as breathing. Was the air always this dry? A cough here, a cough there. It's when they try to clear their throat that something doesn't feel right. A dry, grating sensation envelops their throat, like someone's been siphoning the moisture within their body. Swallowing becomes painful enough that it is no longer any relief. As a result, the ninja becomes more efficient with their chakra when using Elemental Genjutsu. In the target’s mind, the user confuses the hand seal definitions and formations along with the specific chakra required to use their jutsu, leaving them confused to why its simply not working. Points: 4 Name: Synapse Hacking: Defensive Fortification Type: Genjutsu [Elemental Archetype: Lightning | Barrier | Response Phase] Rank: Chuunin Cost: 150 Ghost Barrier Health: 250 Effects: Response phase jutsu to protect user from Genjutsu attacks only and dissipates at end of response phase. Can only be used in the response phase against attacks of equal or lesser rank and when used in the response phase the user loses their main phase action. Used once per battle. The jutsu has a 30% chance of failure Description: The user, under threat of a mental attack, forms the hand seals in combination with chakra to enhance their concentration and mental acuity, creating a guarded state which they imagine as a series of locked gates within their mind. Points: 5 Quarantine; Ninjutsu: You cannot use Ninjutsu. A character may only be affected by any 'Quarantine' effects for a maximum of three (3) turns throughout the entire battle.     Pulse Archetype Effect: When an opponent is successfully struck by a “Pulse” Genjutsu, the next time they would regenerate Ghost HP, they instead do not. Does not stack with its self. Description: Genjutsu of the Pulse Archetype are not known to create grand illusions or enact elaborate trickery over the senses. They are a method of brutal and callous destruction of the mind, known to cause physical pain and feelings of illness with incredible ease. Though malice is not a prerequisite to be trained in this form of illusions, those who master it cannot help but be keenly aware of their cruelty. Cost: -1
