Clan Info:

The Land of Snow was never a very prosperous country. Its remote location and limited resources always held it and its people back from being truly prosperous. Its only real achievements were its technology and the development of chakra armor, but even these things could not sustain the country.

Ages ago, Hyouki Koori, of the Hidden Snow village, set out towards the southern worlds to find a new home for him and his clan, a place where they could live and prosper without hindrance and limitations of a feeble country. Eventually they made their was to Water Country. They brought their knowledge of ice techniques and merged them with the water techniques of Kiri. Pledging their allegiance to the mist ninja, the Hyouki Clan was allowed to stay. Soon they eventually made a name for themselves in Kiri but they were never really one with the village as the native clans were.

One day a promising prodigy of the clan by the name of Hyouki Touji was sent with a team on a mission to the Country of Snow. There the team met with disaster and Touji's teammates were killed and he was left alone in the freezing mountains. At first he was able to survive because of his extensive knowledge of ice jutsu, but it only held back what he knew was the inevitable end. In a desperate attempt to extend his life he attempted a forbidden technique, which was still in development that would infuse himself with the ice around him allowing him to stand the cold temperatures. As my as he tinkered with this technique he was never able to perfect it. In the past his blood could not properly fuse with the ice. As he tried the technique for the last time it appeared to have worked. However, the technique failed and Touji fell unconscious in the white snow.

History on the tale has been lost to legend in the time that passed. The story, according to some, was passed down by Touji himself and it said that as he fell unconscious he was visited by the Ice Goddess worshiped by the people in the Land of Snow. She told him that she would save his life and grant him the power over Ice and Snow, but in exchange he would have to lead the people in the Country of Snow back to her, for they had lost their way and turned to their technology. When Touji agreed he awoke in the Mountains once more. He hair had turned snow white and his skin was pale. In his reflection his eyes had also changed to blue. As promised he also had full control over Ice and Snow.

Science on the other hand explained that the jutsu had worked but not as it was supposed to. It had in fact sparked a genetic mutation that caused the birth of what was later called the Aisu no Hada Bloodline. Scientists also argue against the legends truth by noting that if it were truly a gift then it would not have been allowed to pass down through his bloodline and would have died with him.

Nevertheless, Touji did travel to the Country of Snow where he was greeted with open arms. He told the people there about what had happened to him and sparked a religious up rise in the country. Not much changed in the Land of Snow, but Touji did fall in love with a beautiful Kunochi from the Village Hidden in the Snow. Together they had three children all whom were born with purple eyes. Feeling home sick he bid farewell to the land of Snow and traveled with his wife in children back to the Country of Water and to Kiri where he rejoined his clan. Some believers said that this angered the Goddess of Ice because he walked out on his deal and this is what later brought down Touji and all his decedents and clan.

History becomes more clear and apparent once Touji returns to the Village hidden in the Mist. His clan welcomed him back with open arms eager to hear his tale. However, the rest of the Village had always been weary, as most people are in Water Country, of things thought to be bloodlines.

In the years to come, Touji's children grew and unlocked the bloodline themselves. They took on the same form as their father had but retained the ability to force a reversion of the bloodline so that they would not always remain is such a state. The Hyouki clan continued to grow and the bloodline was passed to more and more people in the clan. After generations 90% of the clan held what was now called the Aisu no Hada bloodline.

The main descendants of the bloodline became the clan's council. The clan itself became even better known. With their unique control over Ice and Snow it was said that they rivaled the Hisame Clan. However, the more power and respect they gained, the more the other ninja began to despise the Hyouki clan causing many confrontations.

Around this same time two main descendants were born to the Hyouki clan. The elder one was a boy named Hoyuki Sekisetsu and the younger one a girl names Hyouki Sakuya. Both seemed to have very prominent bloodline potential. However, Sakuya eventually decided that she didn't wish to be a ninja, and in an act of rebellion she ran off to the Rice Field Country and married there. Sekisetsu, became the leader of the council and had two known children and one child who was the product of an affair with a woman who wasn't a direct descendant of Touji. He hid this child in the clan where his same wouldn't be revealed. Later that son was called Taisetsu who later married Koyuki another member of the clan.

By this time tension between the clan and Kiri had risen. One night the Kiri finally made their move. They launched an attack on the Hyouki Clan estate killing whoever they came across. Most of the noble clan died that night including the old leader of the council Sekisetsu. His estranged son Taisetsu and Koyuki managed to escape with their only son to the eastern islands where they raised him, while Sakuya was left untouched as she had her own family in the Rice Field Country.

Many more members of the clan were scattered throughout the world. Many eventually made it all the way north, coming full circle back to the Country of Snow. Later, Kumo's attack on the world allowed them to conceal themselves and regroup in the remote and untouched Land of Snow. Now the back where the started the Hyouki clan attempts rebuild what it has lost.

The History is good, except for the part in which he got the transformation. Being left out in the snow, he would die out frostbite and Hypothermia... so how did a bloodline trait come out of that.

So you should fix up that part and you'd be good.

Alright... I usually have the stemming of the "Main/Secondary" clans... very unoriginal. Also, the "so powerful they are now dangerous" is also lame. But, you will do what you want, nothing we can say.

The story is fairly solid and it is good enough to begin RPing and expanding.

APPROVED and moved.
