Explosive clay is created when an expert Bakuton user infuses the correct proportions of chakra into the earth around them. Typically, clay enhanced in this manner can be an array of colors from dark brown, to red, to white depending on the texture and clay density of the soil used, although many within the Iwagakuran Explosion Corps prefer white clay in respect to the others. Generally used within Bakuton-element attacks, strikes augmented by Explosive Clay are powerful, and can be an effective means of blasting through defenses or dispatching many enemies at once, especially when paired with chemicals.

This character may write a training post creating mainsite explosive tag and explosive items themselves instead of purchasing them. The amount of EXP required to create the item is equal to it's two times its cost. Consumables created in this manner are given the name "Explosive Clay" and "Explosive Clay Ball" and are treated as if they were "Explosive Tags" and "Explosive Tag Balls" for all intents and purposes. 

Malleable Properties:

Once per battle, when this weapon is destroyed, the user may select four (4) unused Rank V Explosive Clay Balls, or Two (2) unused Rank V Explosive Clays currently within their possession. If this is done, those consumables are considered used for all intents and purposes, and the user is still considered to be equipped with this weapon.

Improvised Explosive Device: This reads better as a skill, as it's clearly based on similar path abilities and skills. Think of something else perhaps.

 

Malleable Properties: Repairing a weapon costs about 650 chakra. What's the equivalent cost on these clay balls? You're gonna want to get at the very least to 650, likely a bit higher because it's reactive. 

As for the cost, the ability to make your weapon immortal once per battle I'd cost at 900. 650 for the removing destroyed weapon, and then another 350 for making it not take up a main phase.
