Guest MrSako Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 Disruptive Elements The same as Subtle Elements, but with you get two elements for the price of one. You may learn an elemental jutsu that is not from your village. Remember that you must specify which two element you bought with this skill (Fire, Mist, Wind, Earth, Lightning, Grass, Sound). You can learn 2 other kinds of elemental jutsu. -1 skill point [] Ranks Approved Skill Name: Studied Learner Requirements: Alchem Clan Description: Through their constant studying and analyzing of material and content the Alchem clan members can apply this to their ninja training. Effect: +10% EXP, does not stack with quick learner Cost: -1 skill 1 Rank Does not stack with character death bonus, (I still want to see what the new Quick Learner does Nitouryuu Description: The person has been trained in the art of Nitouryuu and can wield two blades at once, one in each hand. Effect: Allows you too use 2 medium swords/sword like weapons in a turn. So you get so many attacks with each weapon in a turn. So, at genin level you would get 1 attack with each sword per turn, etc. You must pay the same stamina for all attacks. Cost: -2 Denied, this is the most powerful skill in the game because it allows you to double your attacks, and medium weapons now do x2 damage. No to skills that give more attacks Santouryuu Description: The person has been trained in the art of Santouryuu and can wield three blades at once, one in each hand, and a third in the mouth. Requires Nitouryuu to learn. This style is characteristic to the Alchem family and must be taught by a member to learn it. Effect: Allows you too use 3 medium swords/sword like weapons in a turn. So you get so many attacks with each weapon in a turn. So, at genin level you would get 1 attack with each sword per turn, etc. You must pay the same stamina for all attacks. cntrstrk14 Posted July 24, 2006 Author Posted July 24, 2006 ok, fixed up studied learner (quick learner is on the main site) And I changed the effect of Nitouryuu and Santouryuu. It now gives +20 damage.
Kouta Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 Hey...sako...what is up with that approval on Disruptive Elements? All that is is Subtle Elements, only better, for the same cost...uhh...cheap much? That is totally unfair. Please explain why that should be approved. Also, for Santoryuu and Nitoryuu, the bonus levels is for attacking purposes only...
Guest MrSako Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 The reason I approved is because Clans are allowed to have a slight edge over normal skills... and the above isn't really that big of a benefit, because you can take Path of the Scholar and with its Mastery learn 2 Subtle Elements for 1 skill point as well...
cntrstrk14 Posted July 25, 2006 Author Posted July 25, 2006 ya, i actually have the path of the scholor, I just took this also because it was more clan based. And yes, it is for attacking purposes only. I would like Sako's opinion on the nitouryuu and santouryuu though.
Guest MrSako Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 For -1 skill points... I would say that each sword attack gets a +5 damage bonus. Right now, a medium weapon 10 levels higher would do +20 damage, and for -1, that is an awful lot. +10 would be the limit, compared to path of the warrior... And to clarify, you can use 2 weapons, but you only get the maximum number of attacks total (not each weapon)
cntrstrk14 Posted July 25, 2006 Author Posted July 25, 2006 ok, editted them a bit to be 5 levels higher and also eddited santouryuu to not stack with niitouryuu, and require more. Thus I made it 10 level higher. Also, your clarification is correct, i still only get the regular alloted amount of attacks for my rank.
Matthias Drake Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 That is only one... You're normally only allowed to do one weapon attack per turn.
cntrstrk14 Posted July 25, 2006 Author Posted July 25, 2006 at genin level you can only do one. Thus the requirement of chuunin level. - Use weapons. Max of Small weapons (shuriken, needles, etc.) is....Genin - 2 per post Chuunin - 4 per post Jounin - 6 per post Kage - 8 per post - Use Medium weapons. Genin - 1 per post Chuunin - 2 per post Jounin - 4 per post Kage - 5 per post - Use Large weapons. Genin - 1 per post Chuunin - 2 per post Jounin - 3 per post Kage - 4 per post
