In both cases, base damage and stamina cost are decided as a medium melee weapon. -Damage is modified as normal when both modes of attack are used (melee attack is modified by only taijutsu and ranged attacks are modified by taijutsu and speed). -This weapon may also be manipulated slightly with chakra. There are several points that allow strings of chakra to be attached in a very basic form of Kugutsu. These strings allow the weapon to be recalled after being thrown, and also allow the weapon's flight path to be directed, making multiple attacks possible in later paths of experience. -Thus, each ranged attack requires 5 chakra in addition to its normal stamina cost. -If this weapon is "caught" by any technique or skill and would be added to an opponent's inventory, it may be recalled during your setup phase at the cost of X chakra, where X is the opponent's character level. Description: Weighing roughly 8 pounds, this weapon closely resembles a windmill shuriken, except that it is a bit larger. It consists of a metal ring that is 4 inches in radius, attached to which are 4 metal blades, each 1 foot long and single-edged. The metal has a silvery-white color with a light blue hue on the blades' edges. The blades are collapsable, coming to rest in a neat stack on one portion of the ring. When the blades are opened, they form a deadly cross of honed steel.
