Warr Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 (edited) Freelancer Availability: General, but must have permission from Warr to use it and agreement from moderators that they don't think you'll abuse it. Description: Some shinobi-nin are fanatically loyal to their village, and would never consider doing any work on the side, or any work without being ordered to. Other shinobi-nin are happy to be busy, and actively look for 'side-jobs', this is also true of 'Freelancer Shinobi-nin', who were not affiliated with a hidden village in the first place or are from a now destroyed hidden village or organization. Effects: The user of this skill may assign themselves missions up to the rank that their 'equivalent shinobi-nin rank' would be. These missions may be anything from simple side jobs or money making schemes (such as playing music on a street for money, pickpocketing, or watching some shepherd's sheep while the shepherd goes to market.), and they may do so without problem or orders from someone else. These missions are not recorded as normal missions of the equivalent rank would be, as they are 'unofficial' missions, and the records of the village do not account for them. They do not affect your mission count as a result. Only standard level/rank missions may be taken through this skill. Cost: -1 Smooth Criminal Availability: General, but must have permission from Warr to use, and must have 'Freelancer' or a similar skill to even request. Description: Some people are weak willed sheep who'd let someone ream the wool right off their back if the person did it in a kind enough seeming way. Others are wolves, biting at their allies and enemies, making sure they get their cut for every job done. A person with this skill is of the latter sort. Effect: Because they're their 'own boss', they can keep a bigger cut of the cash they make, and earn 30% more than the standard mission fare. Cost: -2 Edited September 28, 2008 by Warr
Maelstrom Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Make a note that these self-assigned 'missions' do not count as official missions, and thus do not affect your mission count. The self-assigned equivalent of a D-Rank mission would not actually be considered a D-Rank mission.
Eechi-go Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Also; State that all missions taken through freelancer are standard missions only. Double D rank missions are becoming far too popular, and I can see many people attempting to cheat with that skill.
