cntrstrk14 Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Nine Point Cube (Kyuu no Chouten no Seirokumentai) Type: Ninjutsu [Void] Rank: Sennin Cost: 500 Chakra, 5% Chakra Upkeep Damage: n/a Effect: Creates an invisible box of chakra around the target. In order to break the box it must be dealt 1000 + the user's ninjutsu modifier's damage in a single turn. Damage does not carry over turns. Targets within the box may not target anything outside of the box and vice versa. The user may at any time as a free action during their turn disable this jutsu. While this jutsu is active, the user may not take any actions in their response phase, setup phase or main phase aside paying upkeep costs. All advanced forms of chakra regeneration for the user are halted for the duration of this jutsu. The box may never be moved without recreating the jutsu and it may never be larger than 15x cubic feet, where x is the user's level. If broken, may not be used again in battle. Usable 3 times per battle. - Coalescence [x; Nine Point Cube] : The maximum cubic foot size of the cube is the sum of all the user's maximum. Also, the durability of the cube is now 1000 + x + y + z, where x/y/z are the ninjutsu modifiers of the user's. Does not follow normal Coalescence rules in that when the first user performs this jutsu it is considered to be used, where as more users may 'join in' or 'drop out' whenever they feel like it as long as they can perform this jutsu. Description: Through the use of extreme concentration and chakra control, the user can form an invisible cube of chakra around an area, capturing all of its contents or keeping out any undesired effects. The durability of this structure is surprisingly secure due to the amount of skill and concentration needed for it, along with its simple and raw design. However, it lacks in its situational uses because of the time and mental dedication that is required. The ninth point of the cube is considered to be the user's body or mind. Points: 9 Random idea I had. Working title.
atk2700 Posted July 30, 2009 Posted July 30, 2009 You do know that cubes have 8 points, generally speaking? On Topic: To join in, does the user pay 500, or just start paying the upkeep?
cntrstrk14 Posted August 6, 2009 Author Posted August 6, 2009 500 first turn, 5% every turn following.
Nappers Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 'In a single turn'? Really? I kinda think it should take damage- but if you want- the amount of Chakra you are spending in upkeep, considering you have no other action, can go toward healing the box by that amount.
cntrstrk14 Posted September 17, 2009 Author Posted September 17, 2009 Bump. I don't think this is to bad, because if you get two people to attack it you will basically break it easily.
Exodus Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Reminds me of the Dome I created, I'll test this out. If no one else approves before then, I shall.
cntrstrk14 Posted October 5, 2009 Author Posted October 5, 2009 I changed the name to this. Seven Point Cube sounded to much like something else that I forgot now.
